Tarn Landing C-5 est un magnifique condo 1 chambre près du lac Dillon et de la piste cyclable du comté de Summit avec vue sur les zones humides depuis le pont arrière. Une caractéristique de ce condo qui le distingue des autres condos d'une chambre est 2 salles de bain complètes. C-5 est un condo d'un étage au premier étage de l'immeuble, donc il n'y a absolument aucun escalier à gérer. Construit à l'été 1999, il bénéficie d'un intérieur joliment fini et d'un mobilier de qualité. Les autres caractéristiques de ce condo sont une cuisine entièrement équipée, une buanderie privée, un foyer au gaz et un accès Internet sans fil dans l'unité. Il existe également des bains à remous communs situés à l'extérieur du bâtiment. La literie va au lit Queen dans la chambre principale et au canapé-lit Queen dans le salon. Licence STR # BCA-83670

Nice condo but needs some TLC.

This would be a nice place to stay with a little bit of TLC. The heat was on FULL BLAST the entire time and it was 80° in the condo all weekend. Also the hide a bed was broken which made it difficult to find sleeping spaces for all 4 of us. Many items missing from the kitchen and a cabinet door that wouldn't stay closed. We paid WAY too much for what we got!

Thank you for your review, we always appreciate our guests letting us know about their experience in the properties we manage. In this case, we would like to respond about your issues. First, the heating system chose to malfunction at the time of your stay, this is not an ongoing issue. Because the heat is common to the entire building, we couldn't just call a plumber to fix it. We had to contact the building manager, a company over in Dillon, and they checked it out and called a plumber to repair it. Unfortunately, this took a little time to complete and it has been taken care of. Second, we were unaware of any problem with the sofa bed but we will take a look at it and recommend replacement to the owners if necessary. Additionally, the sofa bed is something that we might have been able to fix during your stay and for future reference, we would greatly appreciate the chance to fix it for you while you're here but we can't do that if you don't let us know about the problem until you check out. Key location

Super convenient location for basically everything, grocery across the street, centralized to all the resorts in the area, and the main strip just down the road. There's tons of food options around, a brewery, ski/board shops for when you destroy your stuff on rocks, and hot tub right out the door. (closed due to covid for us tho) The place itself is nice, 2 big bathrooms good size kitchen with stuff, huge dining table, and even the pull out couch bed was good enough. It's not a fancy place so it's perfect IMO, uppity people would find something to complain about I'm sure. Only thing that could be slightly better would be the check out, instead of just leaving the keys in the unit you have to bring them back to the office, which is only a couple miles away, but on a pow day that can make a big difference if your trying to get decent parking somewhere. Overall it's a great spot, I'd hit it again

Decent unit, but reoccurring, unaddressed problems per prior review. Unhelpful management company.

The prior review noted problems with the heat and the pullout bed. Heat was not controllable and unit remained around 80 degrees for our entire stay. It's a first floor unit, so you are unable to leave windows open while away or asleep. Pullout mattress is also unusable. Issues were presented to the management company and 9 hours later I was informed that the heat is beyond their control, as it is a "building maintenance issue". I understand that our stay was over a high season holiday, and value people's time, but the management company made no attempt to resolve the issue with Tarn Landing's maintenance staff. I, therefore, requested a move to another unit under their management, but there were no units available. I requested a discount in the amount of one night's stay due to the unbearable conditions, but was only offered a 10% discount, which fell far short of my request. In subsequent email communication with John Forest, president of Bighorn Rental, the management company overseeing the unit, he responded to me in the following manner: "Your attitude that we need to drop everything and focus just on you is just plain rude. There haven’t been any problems with the heat in the building for months, it’s serviced regularly, not to mention it’s a common element to the building that we have no control over. Are we supposed to get a plumber over there once a week to make sure the system is still operating at peak efficiency?" Judge for yourself who is being rude and unprofessional. Overall the stay was quite unpleasant and I wouldn't recommend the unit.

To anyone reading this review, it's 100% centered on not getting the refund they "required" and has nothing to do with the condo itself. It's a very nice place with a great location and we have had many happy guests stay there. There was too much heat during this stay. There is one heating system for all of the condos in the building. We only manage this condo and do not have access to the heating system so we worked with the building management company to get the issue resolved. Contrary to the review, this is not a recurring problem in the building, it was an isolated incident. We also checked the sofa bed again and were not able to find any problems. There was a piece of memory foam out of place but we smoothed it out. The larger issue here is behavior. Luckily for us, we don't have many guests that behave like this but we're at the point where rude comments and barking orders at us just isn't going to be tolerated. We are trying to help and doing everything we can to make everyone happy. We totally agree that this guest should receive a refund and we tried to work with them to resolve it (amounts listed above are not correct) but obviously they didn't even listen to the offer.
