Great Time in Lewes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in a great location. Evenly set between the beach and the pool. The beach isn't nothing to brag about. The kids spent most of their time in the pool. The house was clean and big enough for 8 of us, The national park is within walking distance and it has a very nice beach. My wife did get bit by chiggers a couple of different days. I think from walking around outside the house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good. However, the 2nd floor deck stairs need repair and the top deck rail was littered with bird droppings. Some bedrooms layout did not match the online pictures. The swimming pool was only open for 3 days of our stay.

Nice beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is nice and large with an open concept! It’s great for a large group. It has some updated features like nice shower heads, a large fridge, a viking stove, and a beautiful master bedroom and bath. The kitchen is huge and had everything that we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed the screened in porch with a fan and party lights. The garage is large and had chairs/beach umbrellas/kayak/ping pong table for use. It is so close to the pool and fishing pier!!! The cons of the house.....Parking is tight if you have a few vehicles. Some of the furniture needs updated and few of the mattresses were really old and uncomfortable. However these factors would not prevent us from staying here again. We would just hope they are updated before our next stay.

Nice house

House is close to the beach which was important to us and the little walkway to the beach was only a couple of steps away across the street. House is located right at the privat pier. The kitchen was fully equipped and the owner has about 6 beach chairs in the garage. We had some minor issues with some things that needed to be repaired and the property manager was very kind to replace some stuff while within a day and gave notice to the homeowner right away to take care of the rest after we left. We had a great time.

Large, good location, but outdated everything

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location, friendly check in and out staff but strict hours and need to check in at a separate location, might need to update their check in process to be more digital and less of a hassle to check in and out. The house is nice but needs updating such as the ceiling fan and lights did not work in the living room, stoves did not work, no air fryer, many of the blinds were non functional, the picture of the hammock is deceiving because it was so dirty and all of the outside furniture needs some updating and cleaning. Although we brought our linens and blankets, there were some blankets and pillows available. Seemed like a dog friendly place because the carpet although cleaned, it had that constant mildew dog fur smell throughout the house. Great location between the pier and swimming pool. Overall, we had a nice stay but for the money and value, probably will be staying somewhere that is more updated and provides more amenities as it was quite the hassle to bring all of our linens and towels while we still had to pay a hefty service charge. Very friendly and professional staff.

The location was excellent, halfway between the pool and beach. Owner provided beach toys and chairs which was very welcome coming from Arizona. Some of the inside furniture needs an update.

The space in the home is nice, but some of the furniture is looking weary and worn. Broken blinds, doors and lamps remain year after year. This year, the master bedroom had a huge urine stain. The garage was a mess with the owners beach and recreation items thrown on the floor. This place could use some TLC but overall it is nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year coming to this house. We love the location and the amenities of the development as well as the space in the home. We have noticed that, over the years we have been coming, a lot of routine maintenance is not being attended to. For example, the floorboards in the kitchen are peeling up, we fixed the trashcan cabinet door ourselves (it was falling off), steps to the roof terrace are in terrible repair, light fixtures are rusty, the hammock is broken, but still there, and the leg is about to fall off the kitchen table. Because the home is not being cared for, we are considering finding somewhere else to stay next year.
