Laissez-vous séduire par notre appartement idéalement situé sur le quai du Canal Saint Martin, dans l'immeuble reconstruit dans les années 1990 sur les lieux mêmes du mythique Hôtel du Nord, dont la façade a été conservée.
Il est situé au 1er étage avec accès sécurisé par un digicode et un interphone.
Vous aimerez cet appartement traversant, moderne, et atypique, équipé avec goût et confortable. Très agréable à vivre, il comprend un vaste séjour (salon, salle à manger et cuisine ouverte) donnant au sud-ouest sur le canal, une chambre donnant au nord-est sur un jardin-terrasse fleuri et arboré et une salle d'eau en marbre avec douche lavabo et WC.
Cet appartement est doté de tout le confort : cuisine équipée (four traditionnel et micro ondes, plaque de cuisson à induction, lave vaisselle, lave linge et sèche linge, réfrigérateur et congélateur, cafetière Nespresso) ; salle à manger pouvant recevoir jusqu'à 6 personnes, chambre avec un grand lit (160x200 ) équipé de deux sommiers de relaxation électriques ; salon équipé de fauteuils de relaxation Stressless et d'un canapé convertible permettant le couchage de deux personnes.
Vous bénéficierez d'un accès Wi-Fi à très haut débit (fibre optique), de plus de 200 chaines TV, et du téléphone gratuit vers 100 pays.
L'appartement est situé dans un quartier animé en plein essor, jeune et branché. Il possède en outre un jardin à partager.
Pour un confort optimal, les draps et les serviettes de toilette sont fournis et il y a une possibilité parking.
Vous trouverez sur place tous les ingrédients nécessaires pour un petit déjeuner parisien.
Un cocktail d'accueil vous sera offert, avec une bouteille de champagne.

This was a beautiful apartment, well situated in a vibrant part of the city, with many nearby bars and restaurants. The other side of that coin is that if you're a very light sleeper, this might not be the best fit.The host generously provided some first day provisions, more by far than any other VRBO property I've stayed at. The apartment has comfortable furniture and plenty of windows for natural light.

Great apartment, wonderful neighborhood, and an incredible host. I stayed here with my wife and our nine-year-old son in July, and it was an outstanding experience. The apartment is lovely—bright and airy, comfortable, spotless, well organized, and well stocked. There are two portable air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and both kept the apartment cool.The neighborhood is beautiful and lively, with plenty of restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and shops. Although it was July, the area was not overrun with tourists. At the same time, it is within easy walking distance of several major sights and multiple Metro stations.Marie is an exceptional host. She was communicative, organized, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. In addition to providing coffee, butter, oil, and other essentials, she greeted us with delicious bread and pastries and even a welcome bottle of champagne. She stayed in touch as we made our way from the airport, showed us how everything in the apartment worked, and patiently answered all of our questions when we arrived.We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and a better host.

Great apartment for 2

Property was in a nice neighborhood with restaurants any which way you looked. Roughly a 35-40 min walk to the Seine, and close to the metro if you want to ride the subway. It is cozy but plenty of space for 2 adults. We really enjoyed staying here.

Great stay near Canal St Martin

We stayed at this property for 10 nights and loved it. The apartment had all of the amenities, offered comfortable accommodations and was well located to enjoy the Olympics or see the many sites Paris has to offer. This property is gorgeous. The host has put so much thought and effort to ensure that the house has everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay here. Lovely apartment with incredible garden terrace!

This was such a great sunlit apartment with an incredible huge garden terrace. I could start the coffee, walked 50 feet, get our morning pastry and have breakfast in the garden. The owner was so easy to work with. You’ll be lucky to be able to rent this apartment if it’s available!!

Beautiful and convenient apartment

We loved this apartment in a very vibrant, somewhat boho neighborhood. It is an easy location, near 2 train stations and 3 metro stops, with a beautiful view overlooking the canal. Many restaurants and grocery options within 2 blocks. Marie’s apartment is well fitted out, especially the kitchen, and very clean and spacious. A very good vale for money. Marie is a responsive host. We would gladly stay again and have recommended this apartment to a family member.

This very comfortable, very clean and well equipped apartment was the perfect homebase for our nine day vacation in Paris. It’s a great neighborhood with an easy walk to a metro station, and lots of very good restaurants. The owner was extremely gracious, providing delicious bread, milk, juice, jam, even champagne! She was also readily available to greet us, and to provide advice when we had questions. We could not have asked for more!

Wonderful lodging and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotless and comfortable with no clutter, lots of open closets and drawers for our gear, and plenty of space to spread out. Very roomy for a Paris apartment. The kitchen is very well appointed, and the living room furniture was extremely comfortable after a long day of walking. The adjustable bed is newer with nice linens, and is on the firmer side. The brasserie downstairs is convenient for a quick bite, and most nights wasn't too noisy in the apartment. The location can't be beat--so many great shops and restaurants nearby, plus proximity to several Metro stations. Marie is a lovely host with clear, easy, prompt communication. She made us feel welcome and comfortable in her lovely home. We are so happy we chose this apartment for our 10-day stay.

Our Stay at Quai de Jemmapes

Marie, our host, met us on arrival, and was very helpful with everything. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable , especially the kitchen which was fully equipped, unlike a lot of French kitchens. Opposite the canal, it is a lively neighbourhood, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the enclosed beautiful garden just outside of our bedroom- a very tranquil spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Marie texted us several times to see how we were doing,which was very sweet of her. It is only a five minute walk to Gard de L’Est, to catch the Metro, train or bus. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Paris Stay

We very much enjoyed staying at Marie‘s house for a week. The rooms, furnishings, and appliances within the home were very nice. The back patio is also beautiful with many blooming plants this time of year. We were able to do everything we wanted to in Paris and will always look back with fondness on our time there. I traveled with my wife and two young adult daughters. One thing I liked was there were hardly any tourists in this portion of the city this time of year. We would love to return sometime. We did come back quite late on Friday night and there was a party going on next-door that played music for a while, but they finished up and became quiet later… about what I would expect when living in a real life Paris or other big city apartment. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Excellent Apartment and Host for a Parisian Experience

Marie’s hosting and her apartment were the foundations of our special month-long Parisian experience. It was truly a “home” away from home. Marie was responsive, helpful, and attentive to the details for a very comfortable stay. The well-appointed, spacious apartment provided everything as described and beyond – allowing us to settle in right away, including quick first meals in the back rooftop garden. The apartment was well stocked to address any needs that may arise. The apartment is surrounded by a vibrant, diverse community with access to all the amenities you need within walking distance. There are many excellent cafes and eateries to sample. The Hotel du Nord location is atmospheric and reflects the interesting history of the area around the canal. There are even jazz clubs every weekend (during our early summer stay) that complemented the history of the area. The Saint Martin Canal is a great community to live in and provides many opportunities for slow-paced walks and picnics, to long interesting routes for daily runs. It was hard to leave after our month-long stay! We would definitely return to this apartment for this experience again.

A lovely Parisian pied-à-terre

My husband and I could not have had a better home base for our week in Paris than this rental! The apartment was clean and bright, and had everything we could have wanted, including fresh bread from a nearly well-known boulangerie. And now we want to buy some new kitchen appliances because we liked hers so much! We loved exploring Paris during the day and then coming back to relax at the apartment. We enjoyed evenings sitting by the canal with a bottle of wine, or dining in the cafe Marie suggested a couple of blocks away, or dining at the Hotel du Nord, right next door. I thought the canal was even more picturesque than the photos portrayed. We spent some time in the more well-known areas of Paris, and it was such a relief to come back to the lively, but not touristy, canal area. Transit via the Metro was a cinch, with several station options and lines nearby. And Marie was so accommodating when our flights were delayed and we arrived 12 hours later than planned, even though it messed up her plans, too. I would recommend this rental without hesitation, and hope I am able to come back again someday!

Je suis retraitée et j'aime la vie parisienne dont je profite pleinement : cinéma, expositions, spectacles...
Je vis dans cet appartement la plus grande partie de l'année, et je le loue occasionnellement à des visiteurs ou des touristes. Il est particulièrement apprécié par les familles avec des enfants.

J'ai acheté cet appartement en 1998, et je m'y plais beaucoup. J'apprécie beaucoup la vie parisienne et entre mes sorties pour les spectacles ou les expos, j'y rentre avec beaucoup de plaisir et de bien être : il présente de beaux volumes, je m'y sens bien, . Il est très confortable, avec son couchage électrique et ses fauteuils de relaxation. Et il possède tous les équipements qu'on peut souhaiter.
