Lil Rose était autrefois une petite écurie. Le chalet se compose maintenant d'une grande pièce divisée pour fournir une plus petite pièce qui abrite un lit jumeau «d'ouvrier». Au cours de l'hiver 2014, un chalet séparé (8 x 10) «Lil Rose» a été achevé, donnant à The Stable une deuxième chambre très privée. Dans l'espace principal, il y a une cuisine du Cap avec une cuisinière à 4 brûleurs et un 1/2 réfrigérateur, une table pour 2 ou 3, un lit plateforme personnalisé de taille queen, un canapé confortable, une télévision stéréo et un lecteur DVD, une connexion Wi-Fi et beaucoup de fenêtres sur le feuillage environnant qui comprend du pin noir, des oliviers et des plantations de plages sauvages. Une cheminée a été ajoutée à l'écurie, améliorant son ambiance hors saison! L'Écurie fonctionne maintenant bien pour un maximum d'un couple avec deux enfants ou un invité occasionnel, mais devrait être «famille». Il y a un lit Queen size, un Full (Lil Rose) et un Twin disponible pour les clients. Il y a une salle de douche intérieure et une salle de bain dans l'écurie. Une terrasse extérieure comprend des transats, une table de pique-nique, un barbecue au charbon de bois et une douche extérieure très privée. Bien qu'une dune empêche l'écurie d'avoir une vue sur la baie, vous pouvez entendre le surf la nuit et un chemin privé vous place au sommet de la dune en moins d'une minute. Le chalet est entièrement isolé, l'intérieur a été entièrement fini en bois de grange du 18ème siècle peint en blanc et est entièrement chauffé. Il est confortable toute l'année.

Beautiful Accommodation

This cottage is so charming and cozy. It is very well-appointed and in a wonderful location. The fireplace was awesome and there was kindling and firewood available on the premises. Thank you for a lovely stay.

quiet get away

We loved our stay at the tiny rose cottage. It is rustic, but private and quiet. The access to the bay is lovely. We enjoyed having our dog with us.

Absolutely entrancing location

If you want a perfectly charming, old fashioned seaside cottage, this is your place. It was like walking into a storybook cottage with a wonderful feeling of remoteness. We walked the little path to the beach everyday where we could explore in perfect solitude. We built a fire each day in the cottage and enjoyed sitting by it drinking wine. I just can’t say enough about our lovely time here...a perfect, much needed getaway!

Tranquil beauty

It was like stepping into a storybook cottage and property...we had at least 6 cardinals in the shrubs to greet us which warmed my heart in the cold! The property and pathways to the bay were beautiful...even in the winter! The cottage was so cozy and quaint....we just loved it....wished we could have stayed longer! Definitely would love to make this an annual Winter get away! P.S. The Salty Market, Atlantic Spice Co. and Truro Vineyards were an added bonus to visit!

I count Darlene among the winter guests who love the bio rhythm of the cape off season . It is a totally specail zen moment . It all goes quiet . I have regular winter guests who love to come and get snowed in . Darlene come back next year !

Charming Old Cape Cod.

A wonderful week of winter solitude on Cape Cod. What’s that term the kids use? OG. This is Original Gangster Cape Cod. Clean, simple, quiet, and original. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. We walked the beach alone. Watched the sunset alone. We even visited a few galleries alone. An epic winter recharge. Thank you!

A step back in time

Stepping into the ‘Stable’ was like being transported back to the 17th or 18th century, but with all the modern conveniences. We were so cozy and comfy that we hardly left the cottage. Nette and Jane were available for recommendations as well as questions. They both checked in several times to makes sure we were warm enough. The enormous supply of wood allowed us to have a wonderful fire each evening, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was the perfect space for us and Sam, our yellow lab. We can hardly wait until we can return

I would really like to speak with owner/management…the property really seems to need some serious love…From outside the cottage to inside(pot holes in driveway/parking lot, no lighting in parking area to get into cottage, poorly maintained yard/gardens, many areas looking like they need a fresh coat of paint, windows should open and stay that way without the need of a stick, furniture not comfortable, inside walls dirty, linens did not smell clean, refrigerator does not work…milk went sour in two days, wires and extension cords everywhere making one wonder how safe electrical workings really are, one night all inside lights were blinking so we sat in the dark, toaster oven got so hot making toast we had to shut it off as it was giving off an electrical burning smell, fruit flies everywhere, curtains are yellow and I’m sure they started out white, there was a constant large partial white dust falling all the time, …We are hoping that things will turn the overall look and functioning of the property around…We would have a tough time recommending a stay at Lil Rose to friends…

We offer Cape Cod cottages intentionally designed to offer a quaint experience. We do offer modern amenities, like wifi, cable, and phone, but are intentional in retaining the charm that comes with the history of the Cape. While we understand this is not for everyone, we do our best to provide solutions for all guests who find our cottages not meeting their expectations when we are made aware of them. Our Verbo rating has remained at 5 stars thanks to our attention to detail and service, including our full-time guest concierge, property manager, professional cleaning staff, weekly landscaping, and arborist. Lighting on the property is provided mostly by flame bulbs so as not to overlight the property. Our driveway is purposely maintained with sand and shells, which is less smooth than a paved driveway but makes less impact on nature and wildlife. We understand that these guests had a stay that didn't live up to their expectations, but we wish that these concerns had been brought to our attention during their stay so that we could have worked to resolve the issues and bring them some enjoyment in their time with us. Based on our 5-star rating with Verbo and our Super Host rating with Airbnb, we would have to think that this was one unfortunate marriage of guest expectation and the lens through which they experienced what others return to over and over with 5-star appreciation.

Perfect thanksgiving getaway

We had a lovely time at this little stable cabin by the beach. We loved that we could leave the house and immediately be on the beach, or drive just a few minutes and be in downtown Provincetown. The heat in the cabin worked wonderfully. We had some issues with the internet when we first arrived, but Jane was extremely responsive and helpful in fixing these. Thanks to this cozy little cabin, we had a perfect Thanksgiving.

Like glamping

These are two tiny cottages on a bluff above a beautiful private beach. Accommodations are quite simple, but the beds are comfortable, the sheets are good quality and there is AC for those hot summer nights. Only a half fridge, so not really suitable for cooking. If you don’t mind a glamping experience, this is for you. We had a lovely time.

Our cottages were so charming! The location is remarkable and both cottages fit our family (2 adults, 21 year y/o and 18 y/o) and pets perfectly. Perfect for quiet, quality family time. A little fantasy

This location was private, it felt like we were on our own property. We were able to enjoy preparing meals with local produce, a fire in the fireplace every night, and plenty of hikes to incredible scenic places. So comfortable, cozy, warm, everything we needed was there! Cant wait to go back!

Cozy Cabin Steps from Never-ending Beach

I truly enjoyed my stay. It was cozy and quiet. The cabin was magical inside and out. The property was right above the beach. The beach went on forever. The only thing I didn't like was the cold wind. It chased me off the beach and back to the warmth of the fireplace more than once. I highly recommend this getaway adventure.
