Ce magnifique chalet côtier est situé dans un endroit paisible dans le joli village d'Alnmouth, réputé pour son étendue de plages dorées. Le gîte est dans un endroit privé et isolé et la propriété est de plain-pied. Il est entouré d'un magnifique grand jardin boisé avec 2 terrasses et d'une fantastique cabane dans laquelle les enfants peuvent jouer. Nous avons beaucoup de jouets d'intérieur et d'extérieur. Il est à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage préservée, de la marina et du joli village de cartes postales.
Nous sommes très fiers d'annoncer que nous avons récemment remporté le prix "Hidden Gem" Northeast, pour 2018.

Il est toujours moins cher de réserver avec nous directement et donc Google nous et utilisez notre site Web pour réserver en ligne, ou envoyez-nous simplement un texte ou un e-mail via notre site Web et nous vous répondrons immédiatement.

Il y a un immense jardin avec une balançoire Tarzan au sommet du jardin et une cabane dans laquelle les enfants peuvent jouer. Il y a beaucoup de jouets d'extérieur et d'intérieur.

Le Lodge est parfait pour une famille. Il y a 2 chambres et il peut accueillir 5 personnes confortablement. Combiné avec le chalet, il peut être ouvert pour former une grande location de vacances si demandé.
Il y a un poêle à bois confortable dans le Lodge et nous fournissons du carburant et du bois d'allumage gratuits pour les clients. Le salon est grand et peut accueillir 9 personnes ou plus. ce qui est idéal pour les événements familiaux. Nous avons WIFI gratuit et Netflix pour nos clients.
Il y a une véranda ensoleillée qui donne sur le grand jardin et le patio.
Dans le jardin, il y a un grand hangar sécurisé que les clients peuvent utiliser pour ranger leurs vélos.

Midwood Lodge est situé à proximité de la plage, des terrains de golf et du parc. Le beau village d'Alnmouth possède d'excellents restaurants locaux, des pubs traditionnels et des boutiques de cadeaux.
C'est la base idéale pour explorer Northumberland, avec de nombreuses attractions de la région, le château et les jardins d'Alnwick sont à seulement 10 minutes en voiture. Bamburgh un beau village qui a le musée Grace Darling et son propre château imposant, et de nombreuses promenades magnifiques le long des nombreuses plages à proximité.
Visitez Lindisfarne - Holy Island, avec son incroyable histoire du christianisme à l'époque anglo-saxonne.
Il y a plusieurs terrains de golf dans la région, dont Warkworth, Foxton et Alnmouth ainsi que de nombreuses pistes cyclables. Nous récompensons les familles, les marcheurs et les cyclistes de Visit Britain.
Alnmouth a une gare ferroviaire avec des trains réguliers allant directement au sud vers Newcastle ou Durham ou au nord jusqu'à Édimbourg si vous avez envie d'une journée.

Comfy lodge in a great location.

We loved that we could walk into town for a meal with no worries about driving and parking. The lodge is spacious and very comfortable for the two of us. Christine was helpful and solicitous. There is a delightful welcome assortment of goodies, which set the tone for a relaxing stay.

Wonderful clean, spacious, warm family home

We went with our toddler and we all were incredibly comfortable. There were jigsaws, books, DVDs to watch. The garden was regularly visited by birds. There was a playground just down the village (and down lover's walk). It was very restful and pleasant. The house had lots of information available about the heating and bins etc. Plenty of kitchen equipment too. Fabulous place to stay - we'll be coming again!

Lovely comfortable stay

What could be better on a cold winters day than drawing the beautiful curtains, lighting the log fire and snuggling up with a movie? Loved the house, location, the welcome and the large garden.

Lovely house in a lovely location

The house was beautifully clean and there was a welcoming hamper with milk in the fridge. Everything about our stay was trouble free and great fun.

Lovely stay in very comfortable accommodation

Midwood lodge was spacious and bright, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. A large garden to relax in and off street parking was a bonus. Less than 5 minutes walk in to Alnmouth High street, with a good selection of places to eat and a very friendly post office come general store. The owner left a very generous welcome basket which included a home made cake. All in all , highly recommend.

a home from home and more !

We stayed at the Midwood lodge this time as there were 4 of us, we have also stayed in the cottage next door which is perfect for 2 people,both properties are lovely&clean with great facilities ideally located (just a very short stroll into Alnmouth village) Alnmouth and surrounding areas are beautiful lots to see and do , we particularly like the walk from Craster to Lower Newton and back ! this is only a short drive away and there is parking at Craster currently £2.00 for all day we get there for around 9.30am to 10am to ensure we get a space, stunning views ! , also Bamburgh Castle & Holy Island worth a visit equally stunning , not forgetting Alnwick Market town which is approx 4 miles from Alnmouth, plenty of parking or can go on the bus ,the bus stop is located right outside of the property so very handy.Could go on and on about beautiful Northumberland just to say go see for yourselves and we would definately reccomend this as a top property to stay at ! The personal touches meant so much!

Midwood Lodge was in a fantastic location, close to the train station and the main road running between Alnwick and Amble etc so less likely to get lost! Only a few minutes walk from several pubs and places to eat in Alnmouth. The lodge itself was very modern and comfortable, well laid out, spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our weekend. Christine and Lousie left us a lovely welcome pack of delicious goodies which was just what my friend and I needed after a four hour drive! Very personal which was very thoughtful and not something I've experienced from many rental properties. They gave us loads of information on the local area, things to see/do before our arrival via email which was very helpful and the lodge had lots of brochures/leaflets also to read. We couldn't recommend Midwood lodge enough and have raved about our stay since we got home, hopefully get back to Northumberland later this year as we only scratched the surface of what it has to offer.

Beautiful lodge, beautiful area and great hosts 5/5

Midwood lodge is a fantastic place to stay. From arriving we were made to feel welcome by Christine and Louise. The welcome pack and small Christmas gifts for the children made our stay even more special. The lodge is beautiful and has everything you could ask for. The kids loved the tree house, games and toys provided and so did we. I definitely recommend this lodge as a base to stay when exploring the lovely Alnmouth and surrounding Northumberland xx Thanks for making our stay great Thomas's Yorkshire

Great property in a lovely location

Lovely cottage that was very well equipped. Friendly and helpful owners. Great location - the amazing Alnmouth beach is a 5min walk away, and there is easy access to the main attractions in Northumberland. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Holiday Cottage by the sea

We had a fantastic stay in Alnmouth. The Cottage is extremely well equipped with a cosy wood burning stove.(Free fuel was provided.) We have a great walk along the beach on a gloriously sunny afternoon. Would highly recommend the property to families as there is a huge garden with tree-house. Plenty of parking too. The Storey family love sharing the property with guests and try to make it a home from home. We always leave a lovely welcome pack for guests to enjoy and provide tea and coffee and homemade cakes.
We have wonderful memories of seeing our children grow up and have fabulous photographs of children playing football on the beach and beautiful village scenes through the seasons.
And the garden often has birdlife for visitors to enjoy.

We love the village of Alnmouth and the privacy that this property gives with lots of outdoor space and parking which is rare in the village. The huge garden is such a pleasure as we live close to the city, which have much smaller gardens.
The tree house is wonderful for children to play in. We have a big shed which guests can use for storing bikes and walking gear.

It is lovely for families as it is all on one level and we have lots of awards including:
Families Welcome, Walkers Welcome, Cyclists Welcome
We have awards for family friendly, with indoor and outdoor games. We also have our own Tarzan swing in the garden as well as a wonderful tree house.
