Un petit havre de paix

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances en famille, villa très bien équipée, propre et quartier très calme. Il y a des petits restaurants dans le coin (nous avons testé le O’ marinheiro que l’on recommande) et la plage à moins de 10 min à pieds. Service de ménage deux fois par semaine et de pisciniste 3 fois par semaine, très discret et efficace. Nous avons eu un pied de parasol qui a cassé, il nous a été remplacé de suite. Merci à Villa Algarve Holiday pour ces vacances.

Lovely Villa. Lack of Directions.

Property was really first rate. Area quiet. When we had minor plumbing problem it was fixed within the hour. Only downside was total lack of directions from office where key pick up happened and property. Took us 2 hours and pure luck to find place. Office should be open on change over days especially when there is a bank holiday and they are closed from 1pm on the Saturday until 9am on the Tuesday. As luck would have it we managed to flag down one of the company vans and the driver escorted us to the property. We tried many times in this two hours to phone contact number including emergency number but no answer. Quite worrying at the time. Thought we might have to get a hotel room!

Great place to spend time in the Algarve

The property was extremely well kept and very clean. We experienced some very minor maintenance issues and they were immediately addressed. Great location with easy walking distance to several great restaurants.

Highly Recommended

I think everything has been said about this lovely villa by previous reviewers so my contribution here is merely to confirm their accuracy. We were a family of 6, two of which were young children, 5 and 3. To be honest, Amizade makes you feel like a guest in someone's home rather than a holiday let. It is homely, spacious, spotless and pleasantly furnished. If anyone has anything negative to say about this accommodation then they must very hard to please. We had a wonderful and memorable holiday here and were very sad to leave. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived and the children just loved the pool. We paid for pool heating which, for the children especially, was money well spent. Pool towels were also made available for our stay which was a great touch and helped massively with packing. The location is very quiet (although the nearby cockerels like an early rise) and the gardens and pool area felt private even though the two neighbouring homes sit above Amizade. Praia Sao Rafael, a five minute drive away, was our beach of choice which the children loved. We can safely recommend Dom Dinis restaurant, which is a very short walk away, and was terrific. They were fantastic with the children especially. Scooby's Bar, again a few minutes walk away, is a unique family place with very good food, friendly owner and staff, lovely pool and plenty to occupy the youngsters. A car is essential in my view especially for shopping. Albufeira is also just a short drive away as is Algarve Shopping should some clouds appear for the day. Communication with Algarve Villa Holidays was excellent. All in all, just a great holiday and we will look back on our time at Amizade with much fondness.

Excellent , well maintained private villa in good location close to beaches

A lovely, well maintained,comfortable, spacious house. Stayed in July 2018 with family of 6. This house catered for all our needs. 3 good sized bedrooms and 3 large bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom has its own living area and outside terrace. Very comfortable living area downstairs with 2 nice leather sofas, nice to relax in and watch movies on the new curved TV. A good range of channels BB1 &2, ITV and CH4 and Satellite TV with lots of English speaking channels, albeit Portuguese subtitles ( good way to learn the language) .Also plenty of books and DVDs and CDs. Large swimming pool ,and terrace area and separate BBQ area, plenty of room for all the family. Bring a jumper , can be chilly at night. Private, quiet location. Beaches - 10 min walk from Coelha beach through a shortcut in the cul de sac opposite the villa, Sao Rafael beach is about 20 min walk but well worth a visit . All the beaches have a bar/ café. Supermarket - Spar about 5 mins in car ( 15 min walk) , Oceania a further few minutes but much bigger and has better range. Apolonia is a bit like Waitrose / Marks , very expensive, but has all the English brands etc. Algarve Shopping Centre in GUIA about 8km , has Continente supermarket, its HUGE like a Walmart and much cheaper than the others, do your big shop here. Also a range of retail outlets Zara/ Berska/ Sephora to name but a few. Restaurants - Easily 10 restaurants within 10 mins walk of the villa. Marinheiro and Dom Dimis are a must, so good we went twice to each of them, excellent fine dining and reasonable enough, book in advance though. Jombre also good. Scoobies bar about 5 mins from the villa, decent for breakfast and lunch. Has a pool and also caters for late check outs and minds luggage etc. You can also get a taxi ( mini bus) from Scoobies about 15 euro to Albufeira. I also think they do airport runs. Trips - If you get a chance take a trip to Alvor, a lovely picturesque fishing village about half an hour away. Villamoura is also worth a visit with a lovely good marina , loads of restaurants where you can just sit and people watch. Boating trips - DO NOT take the boat trip to the caves from Villamoura that lasts 4 hrs, read the reviews before you book any trips. There are lots of boat trips from Albufeira marina, but we didn't get a chance to go on them, read up on them before you go. All in all I would highly recommend this villa, in a private location close to several restaurants and beaches.

Stunning villa with all the amenities you could wish for!

Set in a quiet location Villa Amizade has everything you could ask for in a holiday home. The villa was spotless when we arrived and we were grateful for the thoughtful welcome pack containing milk, cheese, bread, tea, coffee and even a large bottle of beer! Large TV in the lounge with access to all terrestrial UK channels and a good selection of DVDs / Books / Games. The upstairs of Villa Amizade is self-contained, almost like a penthouse suite with its own lounge and balcony - perfect for my Dad to have a bit of privacy and peace from the children! We asked for the pool to be heated and were glad we did as we had a few cool cloudy days, which meant that the kids could still swim and not get cold. Coelha Beach is a 10 minute walk down a cut-through from the road opposite the villa and is beautiful. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance - if you need a British fix then Scooby's is the place for you - they have a swimming pool (non-heated), a crazy golf course and animals to look at, as well as lots of British food options. Can't recommend this villa enough - we booked on the basis of consistently good reviews and the fact that we already knew the area well. Would definitely book again!!!

Villa Amizade is a nice villa for spending your holidays with family or friends. Although it is in a small resort you have privacy and near the beach and some facilities. Excellent family villa in a quiet location close to fabulous restaurants

Excellent villa with great facilities, all the rooms were well presented and the beds very comfortable. The villa is in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the beach, Praia da Coelha and some excellent restaurants, you could easily eat out at a difference one every night if you wanted to. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend staying at this villa.

Perfect for four adults and two teenagers. Spacious. Walking distance to beach & restaurants.

The property is private & peaceful and everything is in great condition. We had one small problem with a lock & it was resolved quickly. The pool/BBQ areas were great - sun or shelter whatever your preference. Air conditioning was a godsend.

Superb Villa, great location

Superb villa in a quiet residential area 10 minutes walk from Coelha beach. All elements of accomodation are of a quality construction, good aircon, wifi, pool heating and lots of hot water with great pressure, 2 fridges in kitchen with all the equipment you'll need. Beds and bedrooms are super comfortable and the lounge / terrace area adjoining the first floor bedroom is a real treat. €10 taxi into Albufeira if you fancy it with lots of really good restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk, O Marinheiro, Jompre and Dom Deniz to mention a few - all mod cons and all you need for a really relaxing holiday, no hesitation in recommending this villa.

Great base for a holiday

Immaculately clean and home from home villa which provided a super base from which to enjoy our holiday. Highly recommend to anyone considering this and process from start to finish swift and helpful. Short drive from main town of Albufeira and local supermarkets and short walks from local more quieter beaches. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, well-equipped with a lovely pool and secluded outdoor area

We had a lovely week, however there were a couple of problems - the burglar alarm activated on every entry to the property and the pool which we paid to have heated didn't get warm until half-way through the week. These issues were sorted out quickly but they did affect an otherwise perfect stay. Having said that, we would return to this property and would recommend it to our friends.

Villa Amizade - Excellent Holiday Villa

The Villa Amizade is a very comfortable, modern and clean villa inside and out, in a quiet residential area 10 minutes walk from the beach with restaurants and tapas bars nearby. It is a lockable gated property which added to the security and would be an asset if you have young children. The nearest Spa mini market is less than a 15 minutes walk with everything you would need including providing us our daily excercise! The villa has a well equipped kitchen with two fridges (one for drinks and the other for food!), three good sized AC bedrooms, two are ensuite. The AC lounge/dinning area is also a good size with English TV channels & wi fi. There's a large veranda on the first floor accessible via a second lounge and bedroom. Our favourite place was the well maintained pool area where we spent most days sunbathing, chilling and dining alfresco if we weren't exploring the area. The outside BBQ area was a bonus which we left the men to cater for us 'ladies' on our days off! Not forgetting, the lovely ladies who provided maid/cleaning service twice weekly, thank you/obrigada! The pool guy too! We found a shortcut to the beach, go down cul de sac opp villa, down a short alleyway, across a piece of land into another alleyway, cross the road and follow path to beach. We were a group of three 'young' couples in our 50s celebrating two special birthdays who look forward to returning to the Villa Amizade. We would definitely recommend this villa and Algarve Villa Holidays to our family and friends.

Superb!!

Myself, husband & 2 boys (age 4 & 7) had a fabulous time at this villa! It was exactly as the photo's shown on the website, was exceptionally clean & tidy inside & out & was very well equipped with everything we needed. We were surprised to see the maids turning up a couple of times a week as villa's we have stayed at before haven't had a maid service! We were very impressed! The kitchen had plenty of cutlery & crockery etc. The pool was great for the boys (& us) & the various ornamental statues around the pool provided a little entertainment for our youngest (& for various photo opportunities) 😄 Whenever we needed to call into the office we were always met with a smiley & friendly person who was very helpful & provided good customer service. All around a superb villa that suited us all, would totally recommend it!! 😀👍👌

Excellent and well equipped with great pool

We had a wonderful week here.The villa is well equipped and very comfortable. Our 3 year old daughter loved the pool and with the heating she was in it all week. This villa has everything you could want and is in a quiet location within a close distance to beech and restaurants.
