Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well the refrigerator was broken when we got there and there was water all over the floor. Instead of sending some one to fix while we were there, they brought another refrigerator and put it upstairs from the kitchen. We had to go through the living room up the stairs every time we wanted to get something from the refrigerator. Very inconvenient and very disappointed they waited until we left to fix it. There was no offer to compensate us for this.

Nice place

It is a nice place that has a big deck to hang out on and grill with a pretty view of the mountains. It is close to Lake Tahoe and restaurants and other fun places.

Beautiful, Clean and well maintained.

We had the race on Spartan Beast Saturday and we were well rested on Friday in the comfort of this beautiful home and kids loved it, We had great memories created staying here. Great little spot for a family ski weekend at Alpine Meadows

Surprisingly comfortable for a somewhat smaller place. We had two families there for five days and it worked out pretty great! The only wrinkle is that the cabin sleeps 9 but there are only 6 places at the dinner table.

Delightful hideaway with the convenience of easy access

Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped, and so convenient. Easy access right on Alpine Meadows Road, but living spaces are below street level and feel quite cozy and secluded. Very responsive caretakers.

On the edge (for real) was a fair stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time, even though the place was not quite what the pictures showed. Sleeps 9 but only has chairs for 6 at the dinner table. One piece of furniture was in pieces when we arrived, which was irritating, though I didn't mind the scratches on the dining room table. The faucet in the half bath upstairs felt like it would break at any moment when you turned on the water. However, with all that, it was fairly comfortable in the lower half of the house (AC did not work in the upper half) Ours was a summer stay, but this would likely serve the winter residents better as one would spend most of the time on the slopes. With all that was wrong, I would have expected a lower price, but it served our purpose and the kitchen was well supplied (except for the rusty pans) Don't mean to scare you away, because the view of the mountains was delightful from the 20-foot high wobbly deck. Oh yes, and the BBQ was out of fuel. Despite it all we all had fun and found it peaceful and secluded enough.

Perfect for our Tahoe family visit

We stayed at this house for a week. It's centrally located yet very peaceful. It's also near many hiking trails, rafting, the ski resort and of course the lake. Everything in the house was well stocked and very clean and updated which was a relief as our last Tahoe rental wasn't up to my standards. We really enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and grilling. It was so peaceful. One thing I wish that the owner had mentioned was that they have horse back rides about half a mile down. I only found out about it the day before I left and so my son only got one ride in. I can't wait to stay here again in the near future.
