Cabane isolée sur 200 hectares avec votre propre lac privé. Détendez-vous sur la grande terrasse avec une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et la forêt à toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. Vous pourrez pêcher dans le lac, faire de la randonnée sur de nombreux kilomètres de sentiers, nager ou tout simplement vous détendre sur la plage. Le lac est équipé de chaloupe et de canoë. Dans la soirée, profitez d'un feu de camp dans le foyer. Parfait pour des vacances en famille ou une escapade romantique. Capacité d'accueil de six personnes avec un lit escamotable dans la chambre principale: lits superposés; et un canapé-lit queen dans le salon. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec coin repas, 1 1/2 salles de bains, laveuse / sécheuse, climatisation, wifi, télévision / magnétoscope, terrasse et patio. Seulement 11 miles de galena avec des magasins, des restaurants et de nombreuses attractions. Occupation maximale 6. Désolé, pas d'animaux ou de fumer. Les locations sont disponibles d'avril à novembre.

Lovely secluded cabin with amazing sunrises on the lake. Owner is quick to respond to questions. Cozy and welcoming. Close to Galena but you feel like you are very secluded. Hope to stay again when we are in the area.

Amazing stress free retreat. Cabin was wonderful and completely furnished with everything we needed. Loved boating on the beautiful lake and floating through the lily pads. Will definitely come back.

Amazing!! Peaceful and beautiful!

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here, first with my family. Absolutely love it there! The private lake is amazing and the cabin is just the right size. We all enjoyed the lake and lots of outside activities. Highly recommend for a family or friends getaway!

Five years in a row now, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Such a relaxing and tranquil place. My grandson didn’t want to leave, enjoying swimming, fishing, hiking, campfire with s’mores every night. So many stars at night, spotted the ISS, and a few shooting stars.

Steep private road to beautiful lake view and cabin. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Peaceful and serene. Fish were biting and the paddle boat was fun. It was hot during our stay and A/C only on top floor but the scenery is worth it and the shower is not made for fluffy people.

Beautiful weather! As usual we had a marvelous stay! We always enjoy our stay here, this place is so close to our hearts! My husband thinks a few grass carp would be good for the lake.

Another great stay

We can’t get enough of this place. It’s close enough to town for a trip for pizza and a visit to the old fashioned ice cream parlor and candy store, yet secluded from the rest of the world to enjoy peace and quiet. We love the fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, exploring, campfires and the family bonding time this wonderful place affords us.

Another great stay

I think this is our fourth year in a row and we are planning on making it five. Word to the wise though, don’t leave your fresh farm stand corn on the picnic table overnight unless you want to make the raccoons happy.

Our family went on houseboat vacations cruising the Mississippi river and skiing at Chestnut Mountain Resort when we were growing up. We loved the area so much my parents looked at property to buy in the Galena area. The first piece of property they purchased was in 1966. The cabin was eventually built in 1983.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our parents built a cabin for guests and family to stay in when they visited. After they passed away, we decided to rent the cabin out 5 months out of the year. We haven enjoyed vacationing there for many years and would like to share it with others.
