Cabane isolĂ©e sur 200 hectares avec votre propre lac privĂ©. DĂ©tendez-vous sur la grande terrasse avec une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et la forĂȘt Ă  toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. Vous pourrez pĂȘcher dans le lac, faire de la randonnĂ©e sur de nombreux kilomĂštres de sentiers, nager ou tout simplement vous dĂ©tendre sur la plage. Le lac est Ă©quipĂ© de chaloupe et de canoĂ«. Dans la soirĂ©e, profitez d'un feu de camp dans le foyer. Parfait pour des vacances en famille ou une escapade romantique. CapacitĂ© d'accueil de six personnes avec un lit escamotable dans la chambre principale: lits superposĂ©s; et un canapĂ©-lit queen dans le salon. Cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec coin repas, 1 1/2 salles de bains, laveuse / sĂ©cheuse, climatisation, wifi, tĂ©lĂ©vision / magnĂ©toscope, terrasse et patio. Amazing stress free retreat. Cabin was wonderful and completely furnished with everything we needed. Loved boating on the beautiful lake and floating through the lily pads. Will definitely come back.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here, first with my family. Absolutely love it there! The private lake is amazing and the cabin is just the right size. We all enjoyed the lake and lots of outside activities. Highly recommend for a family or friends getaway!

Five years in a row now, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Such a relaxing and tranquil place. My grandson didn’t want to leave, enjoying swimming, fishing, hiking, campfire with s’mores every night. So many stars at night, spotted the ISS, and a few shooting stars.

Steep private road to beautiful lake view and cabin. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Peaceful and serene. Fish were biting and the paddle boat was fun. It was hot during our stay and A/C only on top floor but the scenery is worth it and the shower is not made for fluffy people.

Another great stay

I think this is our fourth year in a row and we are planning on making it five. Word to the wise though, don’t leave your fresh farm stand corn on the picnic table overnight unless you want to make the raccoons happy.

We've stayed here before. Enjoyed the cabin and the beautiful lake. Kids loved swimming and fishing. Property manager was very responsive! Unfortunately, one of our family members had a allergic reaction to something inside the cabin (mold, dust?).

Feels like home

We’ve been renting this cabin for years and have stayed more times than I can count. Every time I pull into the drive, it feels like coming home, and I’m sad whenever I have to leave. It is, quite simply, the perfect getaway.

Another great stay

We can’t get enough of this place. It’s close enough to town for a trip for pizza and a visit to the old fashioned ice cream parlor and candy store, yet secluded from the rest of the world to enjoy peace and quiet. We love the fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, exploring, campfires and the family bonding time this wonderful place affords us.

Our family went on houseboat vacations cruising the Mississippi river and skiing at Chestnut Mountain Resort when we were growing up. We loved the area so much my parents looked at property to buy in the Galena area. The first piece of property they purchased was in 1966. The cabin was eventually built in 1983.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our parents built a cabin for guests and family to stay in when they visited. After they passed away, we decided to rent the cabin out 5 months out of the year. We haven enjoyed vacationing there for many years and would like to share it with others.
