Great stay

This was a wonderful place to stay in Lucca. Excellent location close to city walls and station. I had a very comfortable few nights here and highly recommend this property.

The apartment is very well located, easy access to the train station and to the historic center. Alessandro was always very responsive and helpful. It is adequately equipped. The shower was good. We stayed in Lucca for six weeks, and in that sense we experienced the apartment to be a little dark. There was only one window in the living room, which we usually had to keep closed because there was construction next door and the workers were right in front of it, and the dust came into the room. Also the mattress was way too soft and not that comfortable. If you stay for only a couple of days these shouldn’t be such a big issue.

Lovely stay in Lucca

We had a great stay at Alessandro’s apartment. It was perfectly located, clean and comfortable. Alessandro was very helpful with giving local tips and recommendations as well. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great base in Lucca.

A good choice for a short stay

Ok for a three day stay (we were two adults and two children). Location is very convenient, the appartment is quite comfortable. Cleanliness could be better but it was, in general, ok.

Wonderful apartment up the end of Via della Rosa near the walls. Within walking distance to the train station and all of the famous Lucca sights. Alessandro, the host, was very welcoming, even when our train from Genoa was 150 minutes late arriving. The shower and exhaust fan were the best we have had during our 10 weeks travelling. Would love to return in winter if Australia wasn't so far away.

Clean, well equipped appartment

We stayed for four nights in this beautiful apartment just inside the city walls and an easy 5 minute walk from the station. We were met and shown round on arrival. The property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay and to cook our own evening meals. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard and has large opening windows to allow air to circulate. We stayed in the middle of October and found the temperature comfortable. There is some street noise (from vehicles) in the evenings but this is to be expected given the location. The apartment was very secure - we felt safe.

Unbeatable experience

All aspects of this stay were perfect. Incredible location right off the train station, within the walled city, within five minutes of the gardens, delicious coffee shops and restaurants, and steps away from an entrance to the incredible wall loop. The host is incredible hospitable and added such value from making the check in process a breeze to sending recommendations to his favorite restaurants, attractions, etc As others have stated, yes there is no AC - but that’s fairly common in such a historic area. Plus not only does he has multiple fans, but there’s a Dyson fan! With open windows and the fans going, even in the middle of July I could sleep comfortable. Highly highly recommend! Thank you for sharing such a great property!

Bel apparteent, bien équipé et très bien situé.

Lucca est une ville pleine de charme où il fait bon vivre et bien plus calme et moins touristique que bien des villes toscanes. Notre hôte est charmant et possède un appartement intramuros très bien situé, confortable et bien équipé. Tout est accessible à pied de chez lui. Un seul bémol c'est le parking qui est éloigné mais on ne peut pas avoir le calme et le charme sans ce petit contretemps. A recommander.

Wonderful time in Lucca.

The apartment is perfectly located just a few minutes away from the station on a quite street very closed to all the main attractions. It was very clean and equipped with everything I needed and more. I was greeted by Alessandro's parents when I arrived, who were very lovely and accommodating. I spent two days in Lucca exploring and enjoying myself. Alessandro has checked on me and gave me great restaurant recommendations. I would definitely recommend his place.

Perfect place!

The owners met us when we arrived and explained everything. Since the weather was so hot, we asked for another fan and got one! It is a cozy place and we walked everywhere, including the wall. We found wonderful places to eat, shop, and great sights! Would love to return in the fall or spring! The place is very clean and has everything you need!
