Excellent séjour passé à Risan

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans les bouches du Kotor. Anke et James sont des personnes charmantes, dans leur studio il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable. Un grand merci!

Mrs Labrit and Mr Freicha are a very well organised couple, who clearly had their time in Montenegro well planned as they did not ask for any help in what to see or where to go. Instead they seemed to be fully occupied with activities every day. Sadly because our French is adequate but lacks practice, and they chose not to speak English, our mutual communication was somewhat limited. They were careful guests who took care of the apartment and left it clean and in good condition.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Risan

Wir waren zu zweit im Juni 2023 in dieser Wohnung und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, man hat sofort nach der Buchung einen netten Kontakt. Zur Begrüßung gab es selbst gemachte Marmelade und Wein. Die Wohnung ist für zwei ideal, abends sitzt man sehr nett auf der Terasse direkt vor der Wohnung.

Toller Aufenthalt - Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Uns hat das EcoHouse in allen Hinsichten super gefallen! Die Vermieter Anke und James sind ein ganz herzliches und hilfsbereites Paar, bei dem man sich sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt hat. Sie haben uns den besten Service geboten, den man sich hätte vorstellen können! Das Studio war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Unserer Meinung nach war Risan der perfekte Standort für einen Urlaub in Montenegro, aufgrund der geographischen Lage und den guten Bade- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

Debbie und Hendrik waren ein junges, wunderbares Paar, unsere juengsten Gaeste, super Gaeste und so liebevoll. Sie waren bereit sich von ihrem "NavSat" zu trennen, und sich nach 'Karten' zu orientieren... Montenegro ist noch nicht so 'up-to-date' mit Strassen, man faehrt mehr 'cross country' und da braucht man schon Nerven. Wir hoffen es hat ihnen bei uns gefallen, wir wuerden uns riesig freuen wenn sie wiederkommen. Wir moechten noch erwaehnen, das sie das Studio 'pico-bello' hinterlassen haben, Six Stars +. Wir bedanken uns und vermissen Euch sehr.

Delightful stay

Our hosts Anke and James were incredibly warm and welcoming. The apartment even featured a filled fridge and bottle of wine, which immediately made as feel at home. The apartment itself is rather small for a family of four, but has a fantastic patio. The German-Scottish couple lives in Risan for ten years or so, and both know the Balkans very well. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten einen 2 wöchigen Aufenthalt im Juli und waren von der Unterkunft und von den Betreibern schlicht begeistert. Ein sauberes Badezimmer, gut ausgestattete Küche und eine Klimaanlage. Mehr braucht es nicht

We were delighted to have Nino and Nicole staying with us. They had had a fairly disastrous journey before finally arriving here, and so we tried to provide some 'home comforts' to restore their happiness levels. They are an extremely likeable and friendly couple, kept everything in excellent condition and it was sad to see them depart at the end of their stay. We recommend them highly to other hosts.

Very comfortable, well equipped accommodation with stunning views for a wonderful, relaxing holiday

I received a very warm welcome from my hosts when I arrived. The studio flat is well-equipped and spotlessly clean with an en suite shower and toilet. The kitchen is great and you can easily do all your cooking there or have a barbecue outside on the patio. There's even an outdoor shower to cool off after sunbathing or head down to the local beach about (10mins walk) for a dip in the sea. Very reasonably priced restaurants are within walking distance. There's a well stocked local supermarket in Risan and also a tourist information centre where you can book day trips, hire cars etc. Local transport is easily accessible bus and there is a very comprehensive bus nerwork that takes you around Montenegro or to Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia. Local buses come through hourly. We went out on a few day trips to Kotor, Budva, Dubrovnik, Perast and up into the mountains. The scenery is so beautiful and picturesque. If you're brave, take a walk up to the old fort in Kotor. It's quite a hike up (wear good walking shoes) but the views are worth it. Would definitely recommend taking a boat trip across to see 'Our Lady of the Rock' and the church on the island in Perast, (5mins by boat). There are daily guided tours. The weather was wonderful. It was warm and sunny everyday. I would highly recommend this studio flat for a holiday in Montenegro. You can easily spend all your time outdoors, which is what makes the private, secluded patio area a real bonus if you want to have some down time from sightseeing and sunbathing and just chill..! I've already booked to come back.

For your next holiday try a Reiki session, or a conversation about it, we do talks on Mediterranean gardening and climate/how to build a Passivhaus in MNE, have some English or Scottish tea with us and scones in the EcoHouse/Passivhaus with home-made marmalade, and just relax, relax. If you are interested, we would be delighted to share with you some beautiful parts of Montenegro like Lake Skardar, good walking boots and anti 'mozzi' stuff is a must, bring lots of film to take photos. All the time, we will be in a calm almost spiritual atmosphere enjoying the beauty of the country. Thank you, see you soon.
