We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy, well-stocked cabin. The hosts were incredibly kind and provided a propane fire pit due to fire restrictions, which made for relaxing evenings. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the location was ideal just a short walk to coffee shop, restaurants, and hiking trails. Between the peaceful pond, spacious porch, and wood stove, it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature.

Unless you have a big group and kids this may not be the right fit. Very close to quiet main road but porch views were of the street.

Big groups with kids is exactly what this cabin is designed for! Four bedrooms, sleeps 14, right in town within walking distance to shops, restaurants and trails. The view to the east from the awesome front porch DOES include the road, but also the mountain ridge beyond it. If you look south, there is a beautiful meadow. If you look north, there is our stocked trout pond and the grass area. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. A 3 star review because the location is as advertised seems unfair, but so be it. This cabin delivers.

We booked this for a quick weekend skiing trip with the family and dog. This cabin was perfect - everyone was happy! Clean and comfortable (especially the beds) with updated appliances and nice newly remodeled bathrooms. We most definitely will stay here again.

Our stay was just great. We caught two fish and put them back. The only thing we could come up with that might be missing. It would be a clock in the bedroom. That’s all other than that. It was great. Highly recommended to anybody that wants to stay in Greer.

Greer Ski Weekend

The house was beautiful. Awesome location, close to hiking trails, Sunrise Ski Resort, coffee shop and diners. Perfect space for family. Great outdoor space with trout pond. Cozy, clean, well-maintained. We would highly recommend and would love to come back again.

Our family lives in Tucson but we have family roots back East. Chris is an avid cyclist, UTV rider and snow skier. Kate loves to ski too and is also an avid gardener, reader, and nature lover. Nick will fish from sunup to sundown if permitted. He will argue that we really bought the property in Greer for the trout pond. He loves to ski and play baseball. Elizabeth is an artist and her favorite thing about Greer is watching the dogs be free to run and play. We love our dogs Jazzy Winnie and the Boston Red Sox. Go Sox!
