New year in the snow.

A great place to be to celebrate the new year! We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was very comfortable and clean and the location was great for skiing at Squaw Valley. We had a couple of very nice dinners during our stay at the The Lodge Restaurant & Pub which is conveniently located right opposite the property.

Great location and wonderful feeling

My daughter and I stayed at the unit for the first weekend of June 2016 and while the weather was beautiful, the townhome was even better. It has a wonderful deck with these great reclining chairs that we would return to each evening and just lay out there and relax. It is across the street from the golf club house for anyone who wants easy access to golf, and just up the street from a great tennis club house.

Absolutely wonderful!!!

We spend a Memoral weekend at Risa's place. We loved everything about it. First: the location! We live in San Francisco and it is important for us to have a choice of driving or walking. We could never imagine we had this choice in Tahoe! Second: we felt welcomed and home in this cozy house. The huge patio is like an icing on a cake - you can enjoy a nice breakfast, afternoon BBQ, relax, read or anything you wish to do while in Tahoe. There are many things to say about the place but the best if you experience it yourself!!! You will be thrilled!

Everything you want for summertime fun

Golf course across the street; tennis courts close by; the pool and gym a short walk away; the lake with private beach within 2 miles and a comfy townhome with large deck to return to after enjoying a full day of a spectacular outdoor activities. What fun!

Great Condo, Location & Owner

I had the pleasure of renting this condo for most of the ski season (January through Mid-May) this year. I really enjoyed our stay. The home was well-appointed, and offered plenty of room for my party. Additionally, the condo's location was also very convenient for skiing at any of the North Lake Tahoe ski resorts. Lastly, the owner is very responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to communicate with. I recommend this home away from home for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and joy that is the Lake Tahoe area.

Great Home

My family and I stayed for a week in August and we had a wonderful time. The house was comfortable and perfect for my family. It was a home away from home. The location to Lake Tahoe is perfect and the area is beautiful. We had a wonderful time.

Clean, comfortable and easy location.

Our family has rented this united for 2 ski seasons and found it very comfortable and convenient. The owners have been very response with any questions. Very comfortable.

Perfect for our family!

We had a great family ski vacation over christmas. Plenty of room for our three teens to spread out. Great access to fitness center, and Z market across the street! cozy bedrooms, and well stocked kitchen! We really appreciated the hand lotion and tissues found in every bedroom, and the food staples in the kitchen-salt, sugar, oil, coffee, filters, etc. Very thoughtful and helpful! We didnt end up using the garage as our car with the ski rack was too high to fit, and there is no access from inside the garage to inside the house. Several lightbulbs out but that was the worst of it! Great place and we will be back!

Clean, comfortable, and close to town

We had 2 families staying at the town house for 4 days in December. Even though the weather in Tahoe wasn't what we had hoped for a ski trip, the stay at the town house was comfortable and enjoyable. It was perfect for our 2 families. Having the 2 bedrooms on the first floor away from the third floor loft sleeping area is ideal if you have adults (or little ones) who need to go to bed much earlier. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. We really appreciated the no shoes inside the house rule. Keeps the carpet nice, clean, and dry. There's an entry hallway where you can keep all your wet snow shoes / boots. We also loved the long row of hooks by the entry way for all our ski jackets! So much better than hanging them on back of chairs. The grocery store, shops, and restaurants are short drive down. Tahoe Donner ski resort is literally 5 minutes away. Also because the town house is part of the Tahoe Donner association, the owner makes available to renters use of their membership cards to get discounts to the several community facilities (we used it for the snow play area across the street from the town house). Overall, loved our stay at the town house. The owner Risa is fabulous and responded quickly to any questions I sent her by text. Would definitely stay here again!

Winter Ski rental

Our family rented this property for the ski season. It was a great location for Sugarbowl and Sqaw with close to Truckee for dinner. Loved being able to walk in the neighborhood, close to great little local grocery store, dinning and sledding. The unit was very comfortable for one family and even worked with 2. Well stocked and maintained. Everything we needed for ski cabin.

Perfect Townhouse in Tahoe

My friends and I loved every nook and cranny of this comfortable, nicely decorated townhouse. The beautiful deck is huge and seems to get sun most of the day. Very conveniently located close to the quaint downtown in Truckee and the surrounding ski resorts. A great choice for any season whether you are into hiking, sight-seeing or skiing. If you love tennis or golf the courts and golf course are nearby.Lake Tahoe is a breathtaking scenic area and one of the best destinations one can imagine and should be on anyone's bucket list. We were totally satisfied with the townhouse and intend to go back again.

Best Tahoe Donner Property

I spent two weeks at this property in July of 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The cabin is bright, cheerful, open, clean, and well equipped with every convenience. Close to all ski resorts, great restaurants in Truckee, and a short drive from Lake Tahoe. The Trout Creek Recreation Center is two minutes walking from the cabin and the golf course is directly across the street. Tennis courts are a three minute drive in heavy traffic :-). This place is so convenient...can't imagine any place better situated to enjoy the Lake Tahoe area and all it has to offer. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Tahoe retreat!

I have visited this property three times and each time I am blown away by how wonderful it is to be there. The accommodations are first rate...it is clean, comfortable and welcoming. There is a large deck where we relaxed with a drink and ate breakfast and dinner. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The recreation area for swimming, golf and tennis is literally across the street! It is convenient to Truckee and Tahoe, yet is a charming retreat with privacy and comfort. I can't wait to return.

Location Location

I’ve stayed at this townhouse 3 different times, for all different purposes. Once it was with a group of friends for a holiday, the other was with a small group just hanging out, and the 3rd time it was on my own. This property is incredibly convenient. Near to all amenities by foot---golf course, tennis courts, restaurant, deli, and the gym! By car, the quaint town of Truckee is only 10 minutes away. Ski at Squaw, Alpine, Northstar, Sugarbowl, and Homewood; or go fishing or kyacking if you prefer. I did all of it! The place is sunny almost all day which means the large gas BBQ on the extra large deck gets lots of use. All the appliances are brand new. The super comfortable mattresses are also brand new and very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious and set up for comfort. I can’t wait to go back this summer!

A wonderful place to visit ~

We stayed at this lovely home last summer and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. The location is excellent. It's easy to get to, as well as being close to many amenities. Yet it's very quiet and peaceful, and you're surrounded by some of the most spectacular Tahoe scenery. The townhome is very large and spacious and filled with light. Very clean and modern. We especially liked hanging out on the deck in the evenings, BBQing and enjoying family time. The Townhome is set in a tranquil setting. We were only there for the weekend, so we didn't get to even take advantage of all the offerings available: tennis, swimming, golf. We went hiking, and to an amazing concert down the road. I would highly recommend visiting this townhome. We can't wait to go again this year!

I am an avid outdoor person. Tennis, golf, occasional sailing, water sports, skiing and sunshine. But it was skiing that brought me to Tahoe, and my SkiClub that brought me to Truckee.

As a native of New York, living in San Francisco since 1984, I love the combination of indoor and outdoor culture found throughout the Bay Area and Tahoe, places where I spend the majority of my time.

When not playing, I work as a mortgage Broker for Guarantee Mortgage in San Francisco. If you need assistance with mortgage financing decisions, don't hesitate to call me. I'm happy to help!

I found this property in 1997 and fell in love with it. the location is perfect, with a view of mountains in the background and a golf course in between. Unusual for the area is its own 2 car garage and a large deck on top. Bright, cheerful, spacious.....I just loved it.

The owner sold it to a local but I couldn't get over it. Periodically I would stop by to see if anyone was there I could talk to about selling it to me.

Finally, after 15 years of waiting, I finally succeeded in getting the owner to sell it to me! How many people get a second chance to make their dream come true?!

Well I did, and I love sharing it with others.

Most convenient location, directly across from the Tahoe Donner Lodge. Drive up, park your car in your garage, then walk across for drinks, hanging out, or dinner. The deli market is only a block away in case you need any supplies, or, 1 block beyond that is the Trout Creek Rec center. Work out, take a class, use the hot tub. All in walking distance. Cozy, convenient, close to major ski resorts, shopping, downtown Truckee.
