Sheldon Barn à High Park avec piscine intérieure partagée

Cette grange indĂ©pendante transformĂ©e, situĂ©e au cƓur du North Devon, peut accueillir 4 personnes dans 2 chambres Ă  coucher; un lit double super king et une couchette pyramidale. La grange dispose du chauffage au sol fourni par le respect de l'environnement Ă  granulĂ©s de bois de chauffage Ă  la biomasse, salle de bains spacieuse et ouverte salon / dĂźner / cuisine.

Cette grange sud donnant sur le jardin d'agrĂ©ment depuis sa terrasse privĂ©e, et est adjacente Ă  la grande 1500mÂČ jardin clos.

Les granges Ă  High Park ont ​​étĂ© construits au dĂ©but des annĂ©es 1900, peu de temps aprĂšs que la maison principale a Ă©tĂ© construite au milieu des annĂ©es 1840.

Il offre un accÚs facile aux plages, landes, sentier cÎtier promenades, pistes cyclables, terrains de golf, des jardins horticoles, les enfants des parcs d'amusement amical, et bien d'autres activités récréatives extérieures et intérieures traditionnelles pour ceux qui recherchent une véritable détente, encore actif, se détacher de la stress de la vie au jour le jour.

La maison est située à 14 acres de terrain privé avec accÚs sécurisé par un portail électrique. Dans l'enceinte se trouve un grand lac naturel accessible avec une végétation magnifique, plus de 200 poissons et une remise à bateaux.

La grange est chien amical, et vous ĂȘtes invitĂ©s Ă  les amener Ă  25 ÂŁ pour le premier chien et 15 ÂŁ par chien pour chaque chien supplĂ©mentaire.

Great stay over NYE

Fantastic place, super spacious and perfect for a self-catering holiday. We stayed with our 2 year old and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful, and the pool was amazing. It’s only a 10–15 minute drive to some really lovely beaches, and there are plenty of shops nearby, which was very convenient.

Fantastic Stay

We were expecting our visit to be really good and when we arrived we were even more happy with our booking. The properties are lovely and modern still with the charm of a barn, great facilities especially being able to use the pool and hot tub 24/7. The grounds are really nice with walled gardens which are secure and there are further grounds you can explore with a lake and dog fields. Can't recommend this enough, will certainly be back. Great hosts who visit and welcome you on arrival and the cream tea that welcomed us as we arrived was great too.

Lovely, well maintained collection of holiday accommodation. Spacious and beautifully clean. Very dog friendly. Not totally enclosed garden areas but still very safe. Swimming pool is wonderful.

A beautiful, relaxing place to stay, with facilities nearby

Our 3rd visit to High Barns, buy our 1st in Sheldon. Suits 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 kids. Love it here, so quiet & relaxing, with feature hosts supplying all you need & a welcome cream tea too. Will definitely be back as love the indoor pool & hot tub too.

Wonderful stay at Sheldon Cottage

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Anne-Louise is a great host, the barn was stocked with everything we could possibly have needed and the beds were so comfortable. There was lots of space for us to relax in. The pool was fabulous, it was lovely to have it to ourselves for a bit each day. We loved exploring the lake and the trampoline was a bonus! It felt very peaceful, despite every other property being occupied, and in a brilliant location for beaches / shops / activities.

Really lovely well appointed accommodation. Great pool and really well organised with useful instructions every where . Especially enjoyed the local milk in the fridge ! Location is great for kids - shops are 5 minutes away - I think the. It’s time we spent in the car was 10 minutes to Appledor -Westwood Ho! Is on the door step as is the big sheep

What a gem

We had a fantastic 6 days at Sheldon Barn, the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. Lots of lovely touches which always seem to let down many rental properties like: Well equipped kitchen Very sharp knives Welcome pack Air conditioning in the bedrooms Our overall impression was that the owners have an exceptional eye for detail and this drives the difference at High Park Barns, we will definitely be back.

Very nice

Very nice location and amenities. Surrounding area and beaches also excellent, our favourite being Westward Ho! The dairy next door for milkshakes was always our first point before heading off for a walk along the beach. The only slight thing I would have to say was some areas of the accommodation needed a little more of a thorough clean, especially when we we collecting toddler toys from under bed TV cabinets. Outstanding though in all other respects.

Nice location , and swimming pool on site but that’s about it . For the price we paid we did expect a lot more. Anyway I am not saying it’s terrible it’s just not worth it . The owners were nice tho.

Christmas 2022 - Sheldon Barn

This was a perfect stay for our Christmas 2022. The instructions leading up to check-in were spot on. The owners were friendly and very helpful. It is clear that as it is a family run business there is a real personal touch to their service which makes all the difference. The site itself was beautiful, well kept to a very high standard and very quiet. It is also a perfect base and we visited Westward Ho and Clovelly during our stay. Atlantic Village Outlet shopping centre is also only a 2 minute drive away, which our Daughters loved. The highlight has to be the pool and hot tub facilities which can be used 24 hours on a timetabled system so you can always have the pool to yourself with your family. Would highly recommend this for a stay.

Autumn at Sheldon Barn

A very comfortable cottage with a great pool. There are lots of lovely places to visit nearby and amazing coastal paths to explore. We had a most relaxing stay, helped by lots of sunshine and beautiful Autumn colours.

The pool and jacuzzi have designated times for every barn as well as free slots for first come first served. Biomass heating ensures good heat at all times. Impressive list of barn facilities. Retail Park nearby includes Asda and various well known takeaways.

Excellent Stay

This is our second stay here and will be back. Cannot fault this place at all. Very clear instructions on how to get here and check in. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. Welcome cream tea on arrival. Bottle of milk waiting for you from local farm. Barn spotlessly clean and sofa and beds most comfortable, has dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board and iron. Swimming pool and jacuzzi a real asset and very well looked after. I cannot recommend High Park Barns enough. Terrific hosts.
