Blue Oyster Beach Villas , is a small complex comprising six individual villas , located right in front of the beach in the well-known resort of Platanes, Rethymno. This exclusive complex is ready to offer you unforgettable holiday moments and comfortable accommodation in an ideal location for relaxation by the beach and convenient access to all amenities.



Platanes is only 5 km away from Rethymno town and provides all the amenities you could wish for a relaxing holiday, including a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, medical services, and ATMs.



Blue Oyster Beach Villas is an excellent choice for families, friends, couples, and even elderly individuals looking for direct beach access without the need for a car.



Each of the six villas comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.



Upon entering the villa, you'll find a living area on the left and an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen on the right, along with a dining area. French doors lead to the terrace, complete with comfortable patio furniture and a dining table where you can enjoy all your meals of the day under the shaded pergola. Next to the 25 sqm pool, you'll find umbrellas and sunbeds.



Moving on, there is a twin bedroom and a shower/WC on the ground floor. An internal marble staircase leads to the upper floor, featuring another twin bedroom with an en-suite shower/WC and a lovely veranda with patio furniture, offering beautiful views of the Cretan Sea. On the lowest level of the villa, there is another twin bedroom and a shower/WC, as well as an open-plan room with a table tennis setup.



All bedrooms are individually air-conditioned and equipped with modern plasma TVs. Additionally, they feature twin beds that can be converted into a double bed with an extra mattress provided.



The Area



Platanes, situated 5 km to the east of Rethymno, is an attractive holiday destination. It boasts a long, beautiful beach, well-organized with numerous water activities. The main road running through the center of Platanias provides all possible amenities, including shopping places, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues.



In Rethymno town, you can enjoy all the city facilities, including the old Venetian port, Fortezza castle, and the renowned Rethymno nightlife.

I cannot fault the blue oyster villas, they were clean, larger than we expected, cleaned every three days, Argus the gentleman in charge was very friendly, welcoming, The drive into the villas is quiet narrow however we had a large vehicle 'station wagon size' but it seemed narrow the first time.I would definitely return!!The only downside is we wished we had booked 2 weeks not one !!Close to all amenities- sea and beach bars 100 yards Main Street with lots of bars and restaurants 200

Amazing location. Could be perfect, but a few niggles.

Being so close to the beach is amazing. The rooms were a great size with ample storage. The indoor and outdoor dining spaces were great. Cleaning staff were lovely and it was great to have them come every few days. The outdoor lighting didn’t work, there were a couple of fixtures broken (door handles and shower head holder) we weren’t provided with ping pong balls, and the downstairs bathroom started to seriously flood towards the end of our stay. Most of these things were reported directly - not all were fixed during the stay.

Vacation in Crete

Excellent place to enjoy beach vacation. Villa is very close to a nice and clean beach as well as to restaurants and shops. No car needed easy to use taxi if you want to get to a city. There is everything you need in the villa. The host is very efficient in the communications. We enjoyed the stay very much and recommend this place for a relaxing vacation

A beautiful and peaceful place with kind people and the sea very close

Location, pool, to have free umbrella and chairs and sea very close. Very friendly staff, a pleasure to meet them. We had some problems in the house (like water from the wc), but not solved during our 15-days stay. Useful to explain that cleaning is every day, but not in detail. Useful to describe what is available in the house in the kitchen (for example oil, salt, etc.). Put a shower or something to clean sand after the beach near the pool. :)

This place is fantastic, brilliant villa amazing location, clean well kept and friendly staff.

I stayed at villa 3 with my wife and children and had an amazing time., The villas are modern clean and absolutely fantastic. The road to the villa is slightly tight however once you get to the gated area it opens into a a spacious driveway (keys were in the key safe as per the instructions). Every villa has covered parking and it’s very private and secure.. Nikos George and Katerina looked after us superbly catering for our every need they were all so friendly and accommodating. The pools is cleaned daily, the apartment looked immaculate every day when we returned. (It’s cleaned daily even though it ate every other day and our beds were made) you don’t need a car you can walk up the road to a variety of restaurants and shops ( it isn’t at all rowdy) your 10 minutes from Rethymno, and an hour by car to Heraklion and Chania. The beach is shingle and there are beds and umbrella's and a Taverna. The Villa is very private, the pool area is fantastic with beds umbrellas, table and chairs and a lounge set. The hotel next door didn’t interfere with us in the slightest noise wise. A fantastic oasis on the beach a truly enjoyable and fantastic place to stay we will be returning we loved it.

Amazing hidden Jewel

We visited in august you drive down the narrow road , and come to an electric gate the keys We’re as promised in the key safe, the gate opens and WOW! 6 immaculately kept villas, beautiful modern and clean. We were well looked after by Nikos,George and Katerina nothing was too much trouble. The villas are modern comfortable and cater for your every need they are serviced daily as is the pool, there’s covered parking and if you walk up the path your on a beautiful beach with a taverna, sun beds and umbrellas which you have use of for free. If you walk back up the road there’s a variety of restaurants, shops and bars with a lovely atmosphere. All the facilities are of a very high standard, the outside area has a lounge set, large table and chairs sun beds and umbrellas the pools clean and the patio area is perfect., We we’re in villa 3 and it’s very private, an amazing place to relax chill out and enjoy the Greek sunshine and hospitality. I’d recommend this villa too family and friends. The villas would be ideal for an extended family. It’s A huge thumbs up from us we had the most wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate in returning again. Thank you for an amazing holiday. Nothing maybe a safe for valuables it was perfect.

Maison spacieuse et bien située

La piscine est super, l'emplacement proche de la plage est vraiment un atout. La maison est spacieuse et bien aménagée. Tout était propre, parfait. Certains détails de finitions pourraient être améliorés: rideaux qui tombent, pommeaux de douche qui ne se crochent plus au mur, joints de salle bain mal faits et moisis,... L'accès par la rue parallèle et le parking voisin serait nettement plus facile!

Wunderbarer Urlaub mit der Familie

Es ist einfach wunderbar hier. Wir sind Wiederholungstäter und kommen auch nächstes Jahr wieder. Für uns einfach perfekt. Das Haus mit 3 Zimmern + Bad, der Pool, die Nähe zum Strand, die Lage. Wir lieben es. Bei den Duschen könnten die Ecken etwas sauberer sein.

Everything you need in one place

Service was great. Location amazing. Super easy to get around even without a car. Some things were not working properly from the begining so a check before of all appliances would be good. In amy case we received fast support and replacement even of the dishwasher that broke. So, again, amazing service!

Great family holiday

The property is spacious and clean with a daily maid service. Close to local amenities such as supermarket and restaurants and the beach is literally a stone throw away! Fabulous week away

Immaculate villas right on the beach. Fantastically serviced daily. Resort very good .

Weather fantastic, only a 9 euro taxi drive to the beautiful city of Rethymmon. Immaculate villa complex right on the beach. Nice people, nice little town with terrific restaurants and bars. We will certainly be going again. Thanks for a great relaxing holiday.
