Splash Resort's amenities are quite unique among Gulf Coast resorts and there is something here for everyone. Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Room is well used

The room was ok . When I say well used 
 I mean the beds squeak every time you turn , bed post was broken , toilet ran constantly , the stove was rusted on the out side , the oven took 30 minutes to pre heat , the room was smaller than the pictures made it seem . remotes are missing the backs .

Great location but uncomfortable furnitures

Nice first family vacation in PCB. Other than minor complains but still enjoyed our stay. Small kitchen/dining/living room space. Furnitures need upgrading. Couches were filthy and uncomfortable (covered with the extra linens). Both beds in the rooms seems like is coming apart and made so much noise while sleeping. Kitchen is lacking, both fridge and dishwasher are rusty. No area rug. Broom and dust pan to clean. Sky walker connects parking and condo towers. Fitness room is well equipped. Pools and splash pad are exceptional. #74 public beach access between towers so beach is always packed.

Room had alot of damage. I reported to them immediately. The splash is a favorite of ours to stay at and it didn't disappoint the activities for the my daughter. I just felt the maintenance of this condo was poor.

Pictures are very deceiving

We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. The pictures are very deceiving. There is only a couch in the living room and it is very stained and dirty (not the one in the picture). If more than two people wanted to sit in the living room area, they had to sit in the floor. The chairs at the kitchen table were falling apart. The kitchen is very poorly stocked with utensils and pans. Make sure you check inventory before you go shopping for groceries. We couldn't cook pancakes because there was no spatula. There is a very bad mildew smell in the back bedroom. The furniture on the balcony was in very poor shape. The 2 chairs that they had were unraveling and were very worn. We were just greatly disappointed overall. For the price we paid we expected a much better quality unit.

The resort pools were nice. The location was nice. The room was a little dingy. There was only a couch. No other seating arrangement other than the dinning room chairs. The patio chairs were falling apart. The only frying pan was a 8in.

Wonderful Vacation!

Had a great time, location and amenities are awesome! Only recommendation would be to make the pools heated, it was freezing but still worth the stay!

Coat of fresh paint and deep cleaning needed here

We stayed here last week of August with a family. Check in was quick. When we opened condo door we saw a walls needing a paint and baseboards dirty and desperately in need to be painted. Furniture nice but also bitten up and some like coffee table very dirty, same with couches Microwave broken.. In bathrooms on a ceiling a lot of mold and I had to clean bath tubs so we can take a showers. Dryer was not working but it got fixed on our 5 day. Smoke alarm went off on on one night . Not a pleasant stay but we did our best to have a good time. It’s a nice condo, but it desperately needs some more attention . So if owner reads this please consider updating your condo.

There wasn't a broom, dustpan or mop in the condo to sweep with or mop. The foor felt like sand and the couch was sticky. One of the rooms(not master bedroom) smelled like mildew. We did have a great time there and my grandbabies had the best time . Thank you!

Very pleased, overall

This vacation was for our grandson, we let him pick the place we stayed and most of what we did. Overall, the condo was great! I think there might have been one or two things I noticed the first day but by the second I had forgotten all about them. The only major thing was the property itself needs more elevators and ventilation in them!! They are miserable to wait on and then be in after a 20-30 minute wait. I'm sure we will return though.

Vacation at Splash

The room we stayed in was not at all what the pictures showed. I was very disappointed in the condition and cleanliness. I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean myself. It was not what you expect to have to do on a family vacation.

Pretty fun

Very fun splash pad for our child, very cool atmosphere, room was okay clean didn’t have hardly any dish things to cook with, beds was alright comfy, very beautiful view, very cool pools, gym is clean, good elevator. Overall room was just okay, everything else so fun!

Let me start by saying we had a great time and slept & showered fine. But this condo was lacking a lot of basic things like only one wine glass, about 5 of each spoon, knives, forks etc...the outdoor furniture was rotting (from beach weather) & they rocked so bad that you would fall over!!! The room was lacking basic necessities, but over all clean. And although we were unsatisfied with the condo & Splash over all we had a great time! Splash is a FANTASTIC concept but needs lots of updates. I don’t want to come across negative or grumpy, but I think the owners need to know it needs a little TLC, for a great review. Thank you for wonderful memories. The kids never knew anything was wrong!

we have had better.....

We were disappointed in the room it needs a upgrade bad the couch smelled like stinking feet and was stained up bad. the coffee pot was broke the microwave door was broke scared to use it one of the hair dryers was broke.. when we stripped the bed oh my God it was s tained up bad and smelled .. It was not one of the best stays.the lighting in bathrooms was bad.

Nasty, filthy, broken Condo

Very disappointed with the quality of the condo. The room was filthy upon arrival. The floors left our feet black. The master bed was broke, the middle of the mattress was sagging. We put the supports back and called maintenance the following day. The mattress had two nasty stains that came through onto our sheets. There’s no carpet in rooms like pics show, it’s tile. The fire alarm wasn’t on the wall, the couch was covered in stains and also had what appeared to be mold on it, the drain plugs didn’t work in either bath tub, a chair was broke on the balcony, the microwave door was broke, the kitchen table and coffee table were so dirty there was black on them, and the toilet in the master bath wouldn’t consistently flush. The pools and splash pads were ok. They had pieces coming up and the bigger splash pad was deep with a very strong bucket dunk. Our toddler was knocked down by it. No one was available during check in despite arriving during the “open” window. We will not come back to this particular condo!

Great property but stay tarnished by terribly loud disruptions from remodeling above us

This is a great property, beautiful views and amenities. We were so looking forward to a restful and relaxing visit that included sleeping late. That plan was rudely changed by a sound that is best described as sounding like someone using a jackhammer on a tile floor above us. Woke up all the adults and kids much earlier in the morning than we were planning on getting up. It's reasonable to expect that on OUR vacation we can do things on OUR schedule. The property management folks explained that a unit above us was being remodeled and this work is allowed from 9 am to 5 pm. That didn't explain why the 3rd morning in a row the noise started up at 8:15 am!!! It was so loud that the property management folks could hear it over the phone! We certainly understand the challenge of getting this sort of work done when it's needed. It just seems that something that was this loud could have been scheduled for after lunch. The property management folks were nice and professional about it but their offers to rectify the problem were very disruptive. No one wants the disruption and wasted time on VACATION to repack and move to another property. We picked this one for the amenities. We were not offered another room far away from the noise. Just another property. Then they put it back on us as to what they could do to make it right. That isn't fair to us because we just want our reasonable expectation of NO CONSTRUCTION NOISE on our vacation? So, we want the noise to stop, or at least just shift it to later in the day. That's not an unreasonable expectation. Without this disruption, we wouldn't hesistate to give a 5 star rating. I wouldn't book with them again without a money-back guarantee that this wouldn't happen. If they weren't willing to do that, I would just take my chances somewhere else.

The beds were good.

My husband has a bad back, so the beds are important. Both rooms had good beds. The condo was well supplied. The dishwasher is not secured (anchored) and leans forward when you open it to put something in. This is my second stay at Splash Resort. Both units did not have black out curtain or any curtain, only blinds in the room on the elevator side. The lights for the walkways shines in and lights up the room, making it difficult to sleep.

Great clean hotel!

Splash was a beautiful clean hotel! We loved our stay here. My only complaint is the toddler pool was closed for half of our stay and that was the main reason we chose this hotel.

My husband and I took my twins (2 yo) for 4 nights to Splash resort. Pros: clean (both the resort and the condo), courteous staff, the splash pool was a hit, accessible to many restaurants, parasailing and other beach fun easily available Cons: the beach was a bit dirty (I may have noticed this more because my twins were playing in the sand all day), the on-site restaurant closed early evening Overall, we had an amazing time and are planning to visit again. I would highly recommend it.
