Maison spacieuse et moderne avec 6 chambres, chacune avec sa salle de bain complète avec air conditionné et une grande terrasse avec piscine et jardins dans le meilleur emplacement de Puerto Carrillo à seulement 2 minutes à pied de l'une des 5 plus belles plages du Costa Rica. Il a une cuisine gastronomique et des finitions de luxe. Il a été conçu par l'un des architectes les plus reconnus de notre pays. C'est une maison idéale pour voyager en famille ou entre groupes d'amis afin que chacun ait son intimité.
Avec vous à la piscine, il y a un pont en teck pour ceux qui veulent pratiquer le yoga ou s'asseoir pour lire ou bronzer.
L'emplacement est stratégique car il est dans un quartier sûr et calme, à proximité des restaurants et en face de l'avenue principale de Carrillo d'où vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à la plage à seulement 400 mètres.
Carrillo est un endroit parfait pour ceux qui cherchent à se détendre mais aussi à profiter des attractions essentielles de la côte comme une magnifique pêche sportive, les meilleures vagues pour le surf, des zones calmes pour pagayer et une plage avec beaucoup d'ombre et où les enfants Ils peuvent nager en toute sécurité.
La région de Hojancha a beaucoup de choses intéressantes à faire, de regarder les tortues nicher dans la réserve camaronale et visiter les impressionnantes cavernes Barra Honda. We enjoyed the location of the house. It was close to the beach, convenience stores, liquor store, coffee shop, pharmacy and plenty of restaurants, which made our stay really convenient. For the price we paid though, we were hoping for higher level of cleanliness both inside and out. We understand that the pool can be difficult to maintain with so many trees around but the outdoor furniture had noticable layers of dust. Inside, the house could have been cleaner as well. It felt dusty and some of the sheets had stains. Overall, the stay had potential because of the great location but a bit more attention to cleanliness would have made a big difference.

Great Stay

7 minute walk to the beach - truly - I timed it. This is an awesome place that I would come back to in a heartbeat. If you are looking for crowds, dust, and over priced food - head to Tamagringo. Otherwise - if you want relaxation, monkeys, an uncrowded beach, and quiet - you can’t go wrong with Casa G!

Loved the location! We had a couple of issues with the power going out if we had multiple showers being used but Kenneth was very responsive and we figured out how to fix it. The market and several restaurants were within walking distance. We had a great time!

Playa carillo

The house is great. We traveled with a group of 15 and had plenty of room. The only thing we were surprised by is the little room with the twin beds is actually not accessible from in the house, you have to go out the front door to it. Kenneth was great and he cooked 3 meals for us that were all delicious. We would definitely stay here again. The pool is wonderful!

Amazing House that has everything you would need

The property owner arranged all transportation for us and put us in contact with the Kenneth who prepared all meals for us, purchased groceries and alcohol for us, cleaned the bedrooms upon request, and helped us arrange yoga! The house was incredible and the pool was a great amenity. One thing to highlight is that Kenneth’s services and transportation should be paid in cash so make sure you bring enough to cover this! We would love to stay here again!

3 Family Vacation

We were a group of 11; 3 couples and 5 teens / adults(16-21). Wonderful layout for our group; each couple and the boys and girls had there own bedroom and bathroom. Great for quiet time or group fun around the pool or bar area. We love the Carrillo (our 5th trip to the area)so the location was great. You get plenty of exercise walking to the beach and restaurants. We have eaten at El Colibri several times and it never disappoints. Found a new hidden gem of a restaurant; I believe it is called La Posada located in a B and B On the beach level on the road just before the bridge on the way to the beach or take the dirt road down the hill just past El Colibri. I will cal it sort of a French fusion restaurant, it was phenomenal. Every thing was wonderful at the house. FYI the drive way is a little step and a bit of a challenge to get out of because it is on the main road. Nelson, Lund and Just Families

Best place We've been in a long time!

My wife and I, and a couple of friends were looking for a place to stay at the beach. And since my wife's family was born in a beach area we always have high expectations whenever we go vacationing like this. And in a long time, we can honestly say, we have not found such a place like this house. Antonio ("keys provider") was kind enough to wait up for us at a very late night hour (we got there at 2am!) and received us with a big smile. Next morning, Xinia (cleaning lady) treated us with this kind of love that makes you remember her for ever. The house is impecable, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully equiped, balconies in every room and clean pool (good temperature too!). If you want to make your own meals there's everything you need (even a grill at the pool's terrace) and if you are feeling lazy there's a nice "soda" (small restaurant) just around the coroner, a mini-market just like 300ft away. Also, you can walk to the beach (it takes like 10min tops) or again, if you are feeling lazy (like us) you drive and get to Carrillo's beach in 1,5 min. We ended up just wanting to come back! (We are actually booking again in April right away :))

Wonderful home with all the necesseties for a relaxing stay

Our group of 10 had plenty of space in this home. Manager was attentive to our questions prior to arrival. The onsite property manager and housekeeper were helpful with answers and suggestions. The home, pool and property were clean. Kitchen was spacious and had all the necessities to cook meals. Small supermarket is about 1 block away, and has sufficient groceries/beer/wine/liquor to make your stay comfortable. Evenings were awesome in the pool. Bedrooms all had air condition and comfortable beds to get a good night's sleep. Mornings were our favorite, and we woke to howling monkey calls that we got to see in the surrounding trees. We didn't walk to the local beach, because we had a rental car, but its definitely not too far to walk. We also hired a couple of fishing boat charters, which were waiting on the water about 1 mile away from the house. And the town of Samara, which is a 10 min. drive has great restaurants, bars and a wonderful beach as well. Overall great stay, and great location in the town of Carrillo. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for answering all of our questions and concerns, and letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

Amazing house

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids the house was bigger than our needs and easily catered for much bigger groups. For us it was perfect. Check in was simple and easy communication with host. We had a issue with the pool and the problem was solved the same day and the host responded immediately. Our Spanish was very poor so communication with the house staff was difficult and some requests lost in translation but they were there when called upon. They were very helpful the day we left when we noticed we had a flat tyre on one of the cars. The house itself is wonderful, our 3 kids (8,11&13) loved the pool as did we and the beds were very comfy. The amenities within the property are as described and the kitchen has every appliance you can think of. The fridge freezer leaked everyday but worked well enough, the host was made aware and using one of the many towels each day was sufficient enough. The location is excellent there are a few places to eat with an amazing Argentinian restaurant just a short walk away which we highly recommend, it’s fantastic food. Samara is only a 10/15 min drive which is full of everything you’d need with beach bars, surf lessons pharmacies restaurants etc. The nearby beach of Puerto Carrillo is stunning there were cool boxes in the house to take food drink with you on the 10 min walk or very short drive down to enjoy sunset or a day on it as we did. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any big group.

Beautiful home near a beautiful beach

We really loved our time at this home and even hired the contact for the property as our private chef for a few of the nights. This house is a short walk or drive to the beach and our family of 16 had plenty of room to spread out when we needed some space. There are outdoor showers in the front and back of the house and the one in front was great for washing off the sand from the ocean. Each room has its own bathroom and AC. A few mornings we saw monkey's in the trees. This property has a pool that's great for kids, teens, adults, and older members of the family. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing House

We really enjoyed our stay with three families at Casa Guarumo. Kenny G and Grace made excellent meals and helped clean, manage our stay, and recommended great activities. Playa Carrillo is the best beach. If you want a deep sea fishing adventure look up Captain Frank.

Absolutely Amazing!

This is our second time staying at Casa Guarumo. We absolutely love Puerto Carrillo. The location is perfect for walks to the beach, or morning strolls. There are markets and a couple restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend d renting a car to visit nearby Samara. We however appreciate the quietness and low key atmosphere of Puerto Carrilllo. The house is gorgeous. It accommodated our party of 11 nicely. Each couple had a separate room with individual bathrooms so you never felt congested. Great open kitchen. Our kids spent hours in the pool. It’s a great set up. We will be back for sure next year. Highly recommend.

CASA GUARUMO CARRILLO

Casa Guarumo was a fun place to stay for our family of 10 adults and 9 kids. The location was ideal as it was a close walk to the grocery store and beach. Sergio was quick to respond to all our questions and needs. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook for a large group.

Perfect for multiple families/Parties

The entire house was exactly as photographed, beautiful, private and classy. A super relaxing house that was well ran. We had Xinia cook for us a few nights and breakfast. Her cooking was amazing! Mígale kept great care of the pool and the ladies cleaned daily, which helped with such a large group. I can’t state enough how great the supporting staff of the property are. I lost one of my diamond stud earrings at night. The next morning while the ladies were cleaning, I walked into my bedroom and saw it laying on the bench at the foot of the bed. I picked it up and asked where it came from as I lost it the night before. She found it under the bed while sweeping. I’m blown away and super appreciative at the honesty. Thank you Sergio & staff for making my parents 50th anniversary the trip of a lifetime with all of their kids and grandkids.

AMAZING property, very comfortable, helpful team.

Just reterned from a stay with 4 familes. Accommodation amazing - very spacious and comfortable. Sergio and his team (Xenia and Walter) were terriffic and ensured everything was perfect. Would highly reccommend. Property has all mod cons, great kitchen and pool areas. Bedrooms are quiet and private with open plan living areas. So much wildlife can be seen just from sitting by pool! Great supermarket accross the road and fantastic Argentinian restaurant 5 min walk away. Beach is about a 15 min walk away.
