We lucked out and found paradise

We stumbled upon this place while searching for an ocean view place in the Napili Beach area. A cancellation allowed us to book this wonderful place. Loved the quiet hours and small community of units. We have already booked for next year.

The perfect view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth visit to the cove in the past 30 years, and it did not disappoint. The view from the unit is outstanding. You can see the sea turtles swimming under the water, from the balcony. The ocean breeze, through the unit and the sound of the water, made for a peaceful stay. The unit is well stocked for cooking and was very clean. The only bummer is there was no additional blanket for the pullout couch. Only sheets. Not a huge deal, in August though. The king bed and pillows were super comfy! The front desk ladies are so very nice and helpful. We will def stay in this unit again. The groundskeeper, Ray does a fantastic job. The property is absolutely beautiful.

Fantastic experience until....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love this cove. We were enjoying our stay, it was quiet everyone was talking and getting along. The second week the entire experience shifted. Families came and did not respect anyone or the wildlife in the cove. The children were throwing large rocks into the cove. We had to police our space! This is not a place for families. I have been coming to the cove on and off for 26 years. Was disappointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely location to hear and watch the waves crashing on the seawall and follow the sea turtle heads as they pop up in the surf. Management is very helpful and friendly. We found the kitchen wares sparse which proved challenging but when I mentioned this to the manager, she ordered what I suggested right away. I am looking forward to using these the next time I come.

NO A/C OK for non Summer stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in this resort 2 past times but not in the Summer. This Unit is Not the one to have in a Summer stay. It had NO A/C. We had friends who stayed in a Similar Unit 114 we booked for them. It had 2 Portable A/C. Our Unit had 2 fans. We could not stay in our unit from 1 pm to 6 pm. We had to go to our friend's unit 114 that we reserved for then to do any cooking during those times. We decided to let our friends have this unit due to their health issues. The Unit was very clean and updated. We had no choice in travel times for family reasons. Our son with Grandkids stayed week before in a corner Unit without A/C but it had great airflow from extra side windows. OK during non-summer months.

Relaxing amongst turtles and rainbows

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely as always. We enjoy a quiet crowd and seem to get lucky each time we visit. Turtles and rainbows, what's not to like?! We always take the same unit so totally know what to expect. We had two minor maintenance issues that were taking care of very quickly with the friendly maintenance guy. Betty even printed out out flight boarding passes for us when we had to leave. Thanks again Su and Betty

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove right on the water. We could watch the turtles climbing onto the rocky shore below our balcony, as well as the amazing sunsets. The resort is homey and the managers in the office were so nice and friendly. After snorkeling with the tropical fish, giant turtles and a purple octopus, we could hop in the heated pool! Our room was beautifully updated and spotlessly clean. King size bed was super comfy. I would highly recommend this quiet cove to relax and really put you in touch with the beauty of Hawaii.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honokeana cove is extraordinary! As a first time snorkerler it did not disappoint—an astounding variety of fish as well as sea turtles. The first few days there was big surf so we enjoyed the sun and watching talented surfers and then we had calm days perfect for snorkeling. The pool is nice and warm and the grounds are beautiful. Our unit 119 was right on the water and perfect for us! We hope to go back!!

A slice of heaven with fantastic private sunsets every evening. The tree limbs for the web cam need to be trimmed. Such a shame that we were told it’s not in the budget. Really? Have the board revisit the issue again please.

Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location, location, location! The property sits right on the water facing a cove filled with many species of fish and lots of Honu! Many of which make their way on the rocky shore to rest in the afternoon. The rental office manager is the best! Su always makes us feel like ohana when we visit, which has been over 20 years now and is one of the reasons why we keep coming back! The rest of the staff are wonderful as well, Betty, Ray, Nelson, and Scott. The accommodations are not luxurious but are clean and very comfortable. Each individual decorated by each unit’s owner. Where else does every condo have a gorgeous view of the island of Molokai. Located in Napili and is very close to a grocery store and several restaurants. Honokeana Cove is our happy place!
