Un petit chalet pittoresque qui se trouve à quelques pas de bord de l'eau sur Vaughn Bay. 1br. avec supplémentaire escamotable, une cuisine complÚte et face à l'ouest. La cuisine est équipée avec tous les éléments nécessaires pour cuisiner, avec un grand réfrigérateur. Les espaces de vie et salle à manger sont confortablement meublées. Draps et serviettes sont fournis, aussi petite laveuse / sécheuse. Voir les étoiles filantes que vous dormez sous le couvert d'étoiles dans MASTER BR., Personnalisé peint à la main par Stellar Vision (vu seulement la nuit). Profitez des équipements et des feux de camp de cuisson à l'extérieur.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was exactly what we needed for a quick city escape. Right on the lake, the views were stunning—calm mornings with mist over the water. The scenery is pure postcard, and the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful.

This place is small but it has everything you need for a lovely stay. It was very clean and comfortable, and you cant beat the view... or the quiet. Rained for our stay but the outdoor space looks like it would be great in the summer. The deck is HUGE and totally gated - which is good for the pups and kids. Would stay again.

This is an excellent place to decompress and unwind. The host was great we got confused on how to operate the TV and the host was very prompt in helping us, and left quickly letting us get back to our very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place and will be back

Many owners will fill their rentals with well worn items from thrift stores. Not Alma! The mattress firmness is adjustable, very large TVs loaded with numerous stations, the kitchen is well stocked, and this is by far the cleanest place we have ever rented. She may call it a cottage because it is small, but it has a very large deck and views galore. On the deck there is a portion with comfortable cushioned outdoor furniture for lounging, another with a raised bar and seating for 4, then a circular high fire pit table with seating for 8, all with a great view. There is another covered area on the deck that I didn't uncover, so it's still a mystery. There is also a hot tub with 102 degree crystal clear water that I didn't use. It looked very inviting, but we just ran out of time. As I was reading a book and taking in the scenery I could hear the girls playing on the swing at the top of the drive. I had to smile. As the chickens crossed the private drive I thought I was visiting the Waltons. I mean that in a good way. Well just so you know I am not a robot I did see 2 slugs and one weed in the nice green lawn. Please be respectful Alma and she is an extremely nice person. We felt privileged to have met Alma, learn the history, and spend time in her "cottage".

Beautiful view of sunset and large enclosed patio

This is the 2nd time for us, we love this place! Beautiful yard on the water and enjoy amazing sunset view while in the hot tub! we have medium sized dogs and spending time with them on the the large enclosed patio is feels safe plus there are many furniture accessories like bar tables, couches etc. And fully equipped kitchen has the indoor grill that is awesome (we are getting one!) Thank you Ms Alma for your hospitality, we will definitely be back again!

This property was owned by our family back in the 1800's bought from William Vaughn himself and sold - (1979). We were able to purchase it back in 2011, 32 years later. Our love for this place is so strong, we wanted to share with others the same opportunities we felt.

The Blueberry cottage (Vaughn Bay) A place where freedom is felt and loved. Watching the magical sunsets, never one duplicated! Free roaming wildlife to watch and share with. The beach is filled with its own life. At low tide watch as the clams bask in the warmth of the sand - a song of their own. The small crabs find refuge under the rocks. With tides high or low it's a world of enchantment, hours of fun and relaxing

Shopping and fine Dining: 10 minutes away, Maritime Gig Harbor offers waterfront shopping. The Blueberry Cottage: offers easy access to the Olympic peninsula, Olympic National Park and Hood canal. It is nearby Belfair - Shelton known for it's ATV trails and nature preserve.
