Great value for the price. Overall, very comfortable, located in a great area and in a very nice complex. Owners were easy to communicate with at check-in and check-out, nothing was needed during the stay.

We loved everything about our stay at this condo in the Sabino Canyon foothills of Tucson. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and well stocked with all you need. Easy access to shopping and dining. The owners were very easy to communicate with before, and during our stay.

Great location for outdoor activities

We hiked almost everyday and when it rained we visited the indoor botanical gardens. We enjoyed the restaurants, local grocery stores, and various art galleries. The day we spent at the biosphere 2 was amazing.

Beautiful Condo, Great Location, Wonderful Hosts

Condo is very well equipped and the views are simply great. Very quiet community. The heated pool(s) were wonderful as was the exercise room. The best feature though was the attentive care and communication from our hosts. They responded immediately to answer any question we had and we felt very welcomed by them. Location in Tucson is absolutely ideal.

Great location

The condo complex is quiet and the location was great for us - close to Sabino Canyon and the east unit of Saquaro National Park. The host's communications were great. We had an extended stay (almost 2 months) and for living there that long we wished there was a pantry or cabinets for food storage.

Wonderful Month

This condo was the perfect place to enjoy a month in Ventana Canyon. The views of the mountains from the balcony and every window were stunning. The condo was roomy, beautiful decorated and comfortable. The hosts were accessible and very easy to work with. Location was in a quiet complex and convenient to Sabino Canyon trails, restaurants and shopping. We would certainly stay here again.

5 Star Stay

Wonderful location in the beautiful NE Catalina foothills, stunning views from cozy condo, quiet complex with great amenities. Fixtures, fittings and furniture showing some signs of wear; however super comfortable, clean and well stocked. Good communication with Mike and Lori. Super friendly neighbours. Would definitely stay again!

Great Sabino Canyon Location

Very well located for access to the Sabino Canyon area. Quiet, well kept gated property. Apartment has been in use for quite a while, so use patterns are well established. Very convenient (walking distance) to shops and restaurants. Mike responded very quickly to every email we sent him.

Medical

My stay was for medical treatments I was receiving. I didn't do any of the things that one would do to enjoy a vacation. However, the accommodations provided me with all of the comforts of home. It allowed me to relax as much as I could. If I were to desire to vacation in Tucson, this is where I would like to stay. The Hosts were great, understanding and very accommodating. I feel like if I actually met them it would feel like they were my friends.

Beautiful Desert Stay

Mike and Lorri were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and easy to work with. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was even better than pictured. The mountain views from each window were stunning. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the terrace viewing the mountains. Sabino Canyon is literally 5 minutes away by car and has fabulous hiking. You haven’t experienced the desert until you’ve hiked through it. There are trails for all fitness levels. The Saguaro NP East is also close and has great trails. Many great restaurants close. El Charo for Mexican and Inca for Peruvian. Also Blue Willow. We thoroughly enjoyed our March month here. Weather is perfect. No AC or heat needed...just open the windows. I highly recommend this rental and Mike and Lorri.

Great Experience

We really enjoyed our stay in the Catalina Foothills condo. We had everything we needed for a month long stay and the condo complex has a great pool, hot tub and fitness facility that we used almost daily. Also it is close to Sabino and Ventana trailheads for hiking and a shopping center just down the street for groceries, a drugstore and great restaurants. The owners were vey responsive and helpful. We would stay here again!

Condo space plus great location make this a winner!

This was a great home base for our month long stay in Tucson. Pluses: Covered parking near unit, split bedroom and bath plan great for for privacy, in-unit laundry, amazing view from patio and great communication with owner. We could not have asked for a better location. We should have packed lighter though, as lugging our heavy suitcases up was hard, but that was the only negative to the location. The grounds are beautiful with a nice workout room and pretty pool. Friendly neighbors, too!

Location, location, location

This condo is in a perfect location. It was close to hiking, pickleball, restaurants and shopping. The condo complex is quiet and offers a nice pool and workout facility. The carpet is older and stained and the beds and couches are worn and we found them uncomfortable, so we give it 4 stars overall.

Wonderful!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Mike & Lorri's condo. Check in was easy and the condo was great. Very clean, just as nice as it appears in the photos and in a great location. The proximity to Sabino Canyon is a definite bonus. Pool and exercise room were very nice as well. Mike was very responsive when I had a couple of questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need

2nd time staying at this property. The location is great. Close to grocery store and restaurants and easy access to anywhere you are headed. The condo has a great split floor plan and a lovely view of the mountains from balcony patio. We really enjoyed the lush condo grounds, pool and gym.

Mike and Lorrie were so accommodating with some concerns I had about getting business mail and using their mailbox . They even drove down to the property to give me the correct key! The view from the patio is magnificent!

Tucson Foothills Gem

Staying at this condo is a great experience. The location in the foothills is very attractive and the views from the balcony of the Catalina Mountains are excellent. A great place for morning breakfast! The two-bed, two-bath unit is laid out in a "split", meaning each bedroom and bath is separated from the other for plenty of privacy. The kitchen offers everything you need. You'll be literally 5 minutes from Sabino Canyon and and also the Ventana trailhead for some terrific walks/hikes. The pool, which became more available during our stay (there were restrictions with Covid) is very attractive and adds to the ability to have so many outdoor experiences. The owners are a true pleasure to deal with, and all transfers were very organized and easy to execute. I really can't recommend this place enough. Owners Mike and Lorri are great to deal with.

Great location & everything you could want for a seamless stay

Mike was very good at communicating and got back quickly if we had any questions. The apartment was close for hiking and golf courses, restaurants and supermarkets were in easy walking distance. The gym was well stocked and the pool was a lovely spot to relax if we were not enjoying the Mountain View from the balcony! If we are back in Tucson again I’d happily stay here again

Summer Stay

We enjoyed our stay, moved here from Austin, TX, needed a temporary place while I look around. Area is wonderful, mountain views and you can bike around the area, even to the grocery store down the street. The condo itself is very cheerful, my daughter felt most comfortable with the yellow / mustard interior, it makes you feel warm and positive the moment you step in. The owners actually drove down 2 hours to show it to me, as I wanted to make sure the listing wasn't a scam as i've never used VRBO or sent large amounts of money online. Really nice owners, went above & beyond, especially during COVID-19 times, they worked with me to have a landline so I could work from the condo. Felt very safe too. I highly recommend.

Great place to stay for a month

Mike is the owner of the condo, not a property manager. He clearly takes great pride in the unit and was a pleasure to work with. Due to sheltering-in-place, my wife and I spent more time here than we would have on an ordinary vacation. We were very comfortable the entire time. The way the condo is built and how it is situated keeps it remarkably cool most of the time. A real treat is the balcony, where we had dinner every evening while looking at the Catalinas.

Clean, quiet, safe, and access to shopping and dining near.

The property is clean and easy to care for. The area felt safe. We locked bikes on bike rack across the parking are without any problems. It is a very quiet condo and the pools/hot tubs well maintained.

The condo was a great size for us and the family members who visited. It was close to many restaurants and outdoor opportunities. It had all that we needed already there. Our names are Mike & Lorri Williams, we are the owners/managers. We moved to Tucson in 1986. We love Tucson and the Catalina Mountain Range....it is breathtaking! We are outdoors people and in Tucson and the surrounding area there is so much to do, I don't know if we will ever get the time to see everything we want to see!! We are originally from the upper mid-west, Minnesota and Iowa. When there are no guests staying in our condo, we often find time to go there to stay in it ourselves...Because, it is our "little paradise" and we love staying at our condo... We know you will too!!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This property/condo was the only one we viewed that had a mountain view from every window or door in the condo!!
We fell in love with the complex...2 swimming pools and 2 hot tubs. It is quiet and the grounds are well groomed. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The front gate is on a pass card at nighttime which is a nice reassuring measure even though the surrounding area/neighborhood is very well to do and up-scale!
Great walking location to restaurants, groceries, drug store, bank, car servicing...Very great location to Sabino Canyon...Great Hiking and Tram rides up the mountain.
