Laurel Mist, une famille Sized Nature Lovers Retreat !!

L'atmosphÚre et l'emplacement de cette cabine offrent l'escapade parfaite. Niché dans les arbres et bien hors de la chaussée, la vie privée abonde. Townsend est une petite ville qui est une communauté de passerelle vers le parc national. Pour visiter la région ouvre l'ensemble du parc aux visiteurs. Cette cabine a un intérieur chaleureux avec un grand espace de vie principal et cheminée en pierre empilés. Les portes françaises qui mÚnent à la véranda arriÚre ajouter un espace de vie extérieur lumineux et invitant à l'intérieur déjà spacieux. La plupart des invités passent un temps abondant sur cette véranda toute l'année!
Le salon ouvert est parfait pour deux couples ou une petite famille. Cabine peut accueillir quatre personnes et a un bain complet et demi.
Laurel Mist est devenu une cabane de couples et de famille.
Il n'y a pas de marches abruptes à gravir, ni de terrain difficile pour atteindre cet endroit spécial. Il n'y a pas de grands ponts à craindre
L'accÚs plat et les routes pavées rendent la moto facile. Le cadre fait ressortir l'amoureux de la nature dans tous ceux qui visitent.

My favorite place to stay in the Townsend area. Very clean, cozy, well kept cabin. Everything you need is there. It was my 4th time staying here and I can’t wait to return. Laurel Mist is top notch.

We loved the cozy cabin and it was so comfortable. Everything we needed for a week in the Smokies. The location was convenient for the Cade’s Cove side of the park. A lovely setting- quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here on another trip!

The cabin was amazing! It was the perfect size for us. Loved having the half bath. Nicest cabin we've ever stayed in. Clean, quiet and just so awesome. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to Townsend, TN. Highly recommend! We were there Monday, Sept 29 and checked out on Friday, Oct 3 2025.

The cabin was well-equipped and the perfect size for us. We so appreciated that our dog was welcome, too. The inside of the cabin was clean, but there was a musty odor under the sinks and in the closet/laundry room. The windows and screens were quite dirty as well. Otherwise, the cabin was lovely and comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful and pretty. We enjoyed our time in Townsend.

Well, it was my 35th wedding anniversary and we loved it! Unfortunately, my husband passed. It left me with some great memories. Owner very kind and respectful, cabin super clean and spacious. My husband fell asleep on that covered screened porch several times.

The cabin was great. Had everything we needed. The mattress was very comfortable. Was easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood. Screen porch was great to sit on in the morning and evening. We saw a bear, 2 deer and a coyote near by. Cyndi was easy to communicate with starting with approval to bring our pet all the way through check-out.

Wooded Beauty

We had a very pleasant stay at the Laurel Mist cabin. It is on a beautiful, wooded lot. It feels private and secluded, but is conveniently located by nearby attractions.

It was great. Just a few pesky ants in the kitchen and I believe the half bath exhaust fan leaked when it rain. We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable, cozy and quiet.

I have been selling Smoky Mountain Real Estate since 2007 and managing Smoky Mountain Rental Properties since 2014. As the Owner and Principal Broker of a Townsend based Real Estate Firm, I have been in and out of hundreds of rental cabins. Feeling strongly that people want to be treated to a clean and well stocked cabin in a private surrounding, my husband and I decided to see if our theory was correct. We purchased our first cabin in 2014 and put it in service. The demand was overwhelming, and we soon purchased our second and third. The owners of Laurel Mist purchased this cabin from us and we agreed to manage the rental of this cabin as well, since it has the same private setting and warm interior decor that our guests enjoy. We felt Laurel Mist was a perfect match for our clients.

The atmosphere and location of this cabin provide the perfect getaway for the owners. Nestled into the trees and well off the roadway, the privacy abounds. Townsend is a small town that is a gateway community to the National Park. To visit the area opens up the entire park to visitors. This cabin has a warm interior with a huge main living space and stacked stone fireplace. The french doors that lead to the screened in back porch add a bright and inviting outdoor living area to the already spacious interior.
It was for the owners, a perfect choice to enjoy themselves, and to share with other guests to the area.
With strong ties to UT, this home away from home was a no brainer!

Laurel Mist backs to county parkland and a nature preserve. This cabin is has great outdoor space and privacy abounds. Located in the same Natural Surroundings as The Cove and Smoke Rise, this cabin will sleep four, offering a bit larger accommodations when needed.
Relax on the screened in porch and enjoy the sounds of surrounding nature.
