Situé au cœur de la zone hôtelière de Cancun au kilomètre 9. 5 nous avons une unité privée à Ocean Dreams Resort ce condo familial est sur un penthouse à deux niveaux et offre une vue panoramique sur la belle plage de Cancun et le lagon avec sécurité 24 heures dans un très bien situé à distance de marche du Plaza Forum par la mer et le marché des coraux noirs, Carlos N Charlies, Sr. Grenouille et plus.
Les clients sont responsables d'acheter leurs propres fournitures, nous en laissons pour quelques jours.

The location was great and the views were amazing. It was exactly what I was looking for between things to do and relaxation. Anabel was responsive and super helpful. If we go back to Cancun, I would stay here again.

Great location, beautiful pools overlooking the ocean. The restaurant - a great plus! Two things I would change is better beds and if the AC could have been turned on prior to our arrival.

I could go on and regarding our love and appreciation for Ana, but it could never be enough to show the depths! This was our second time booking with her and once again, we were not disappointed. Beautiful Oasis in Cancun

The view was spectacular and we had everything we needed. It is right on the beach with the best sand in Canun. Maria is a wonderful host who was always available by phone or text with ant questions we had. She did her very best to take great care of us! We will be back- and we know exactly where we will stay, and who we will contact - maria and her assistant Rosy are number one!

Wonderful stay

Very little to say other than the whole process was almost flawless. The only real negative of our entire stay was the music coming from the hotel downstairs as it was much too loud for too long. Otherwise, Anabel and Rosy were delights to work with, the view is superb, the unit clean and for two people having the extra bathroom was very convenient. It is also located near all amenities - especially the fantastic grocery store. If we had a question about anything (and we had very few) Rosy was on top of it. All in all well worth the price.

Beautiful

The property was good, the location was amazing. The property has two pools and the beach was right at the steps. Beware that umbrellas and chairs are $100 per day on the beach. There is no need to rent a car, restaurants and bars are in walking distance. Cancun has Uber, do not use Taxi’s they are double the price of an Uber. Same for the airport, use Uber, much cheaper. Over all beautiful property. Would definitely recommend!

We have arrived on July 23 and from the beginning had a great experience that included warm welcome reception with orientation about the area. This is a very nice 2 level condo with a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, washer/dryer and many many other useful appliances. Wonderful views from both balconies overlooking the beach. This three weeks I stay with my family seemed as one night. Everything was so great and comfortable with a nice home feeling. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and would definitely come back when I have a chance.

Fantastic apartment with everything you could possibly need.

We spent a lovely week here during school Easter holidays. The entire booking process was both quick and simple with Annabel replying to our enquiry very quickly. Our outbound flight was delayed 4hrs which meant we didn’t arrive until nearly 10.30pm. We were warmly greeted by Rosa even that late, who quickly showed us everything we needed to see before leaving us to fall into the very comfortable beds. No problems at all during our week and Annabel was very kind to let us have a late checkout on our departure day. A great apartment with the most fantastic view. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you for a great stay.

Felt like a dream

We are a family of five; 2 young boys, a teenager, and my husband. This condo was perfect for us. The balconies looking out onto the beach was the loveliest to wake up to every morning. The bed in the master is big enough to sleep 3 comfortably and there are 2 twins in the other bedroom. Anabel has everything from dishes to beach towels, boogie boards, and a washer to wash your clothes then we dried them on the balcony which didn't take long because it's so warm. Don't need to pack many clothes. Overall the stay was great. Plenty of room for all of us. Also the upper pool is beautiful and over looks the beach. I would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful view and great location

The view from this condo is spectacular. We walked in the beach every day and the water was many shades of blue. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Other areas very accessible by bus and only 12 pesos. Annabel answered our questions promptly and set us up with transfers to and from the airport. Carlos and Rosy were very helpful with information while driving the guys to the golf resorts. The condo was nothing fancy but while in CanCun you need to get out of the Condo. The linens were very nice which was a concern after reading some reviews. The beds were comfortable and bath towels and beach towels were provided. The staff at the pools were very customer friendly and the massages were wonderful. Would not hesitate to come back.

Best deal in the "zona"!

Everything about our stay was wonderful: from communication with Anabel, to Rosy and Dorian waiting (over an hour) for us to get our luggage, to the apartment itself. All the descriptions and pictures are accurate. And so are the reviews: the apartment is not perfect, the bedrooms are upstairs, hence not accessible to anyone with mobility issues and not great for small children. As someone mentioned, glass wine glasses (and a new teflon skillet) would be enhancements. Also as noted, place is super clean and about as quiet as can be given the life on the strip, the location is wonderful, the beach and pools a minute from the downstairs elevator, the beds mucho comfortable, and dealing with management was a pleasure. Perfect location, great customer service

Overall this is a no frills apartment super close to all the clubs, restaurants, and shopping. Excellent customer service by Anabel, Rosy, Dorian and Carlos, our driver. It was occasionally noisy at night (fireworks at 12:40 am?) but the beds were super comfy and we slept great. We took full advantage of the kitchen, pools and Netflix. It was a little annoying to have to walk to the grocery store every day to haul home heavy water bottles. For the cost of the apartment, they should have had adequate paper towels, toilet paper and soap. The apartment was in great condition but the building itself is really janky. The elevator was scary. However we had a great time anyway. I also highly recommend Total Snorkel. They picked us up at the hotel and took us to the snorkel site!

Very responsive team

The property is bare bones and has its issues. If it rains water will come in. Not everything worked but the management company was very responsive and solved issues quickly. Which I appreciated. They are very nice kind people. Having Rosy pick you up at the airport is really fantastic and so helpful. She is just a loving warm human and I was very happy to meet her and her son. I would suggest they have more towels depending on the length of stay - as they have a washing machine but no dryer so it takes a couple of days for the towels to dry completely. It’s close to all the action so noise can be loud - but if you open the windows the ocean sound was great and drowned it out. I would say the windows in the “kids” room are a bit dangerous - it opens and no mesh it’s just a couple of hundred feet drop. Just know if you bring kids. The view was spectacular. You can use the pool but have to pay to use the beach chairs which is unfortunate. If you booked through the hotel then you can use the beach chairs. The week stay was decent. We made the best of it and enjoyed the view!!

Great Location mostly overcomes shortfalls

The location is wonderful, the beach is wonderful, the condo is small but the rooms and bathrooms are perfectly functional. However - the kitchen can hardly be called that. There is no hot water in the kitchen sink so every single utensil there can hardly be called washed or clean. YUCK! And I get that its a rental, but having a real glass wineglass / glass instead of plastic would be nice. The toaster 1/2 works. And, although these next two items can't be controlled by the property management, they are frustrating. 1. The elevators Suck,. I guess they're trying to improve that but for 2 out of our 5 days, we stayed at an 8th floor walk up. Everyone with luggage, staff with carts, people with mobility issues were all left to use the service elevator that holds about 3 people. 2. There's a crazy lifeguard with a whistle that he blows alllll day long. He's trying to get the attention of the people down the beach (not in front of the condo) that might be getting close to rocks. But he stands at the pool where he can't be seen from the beach well and makes crazy gestures that no one on the beach understands. If you're by the pool, you get to hear that stupid whistle all day (love safety but maybe he should go down to the beach area) But - great location and great beach. I would think I might stay there again for sure (except the no hot water in the kitchen thing). Excellent communication with property management, she answered promptly every time.

Sorry about the not having hot water in the apartment that is the way it has always worked and you are the first guest that mentions it, regarding the pool guard making noises with a whistle, gosh, maybe the surf was strong on those days and he was being over protective, so sorry it was an inconvenience. I am glad that overall you had a pleasant stay and gave us 4 stars. See you next time

Gran Expectativa

La ubicación es excelente porque es muy céntrica de los restaurantes, renta de autos, centros comerciales, etc. El edificio donde se ubica el departamento es bonito, sin embargo el departamento no cumplió con nuestras expectativas. La luz no es acogedora (donde había focos, porque había focos fundidos), las toallas en los dos banos están viejisimas y en pésimas condiciones. Los colchones de las 2 camas individuales son como piedras. Una persona se tuvo que dormir en el sillón de la sala. En la sala hay una televisión muy pequeña para ese espacio. No hay cable. El refrigerador esta entre el comedor y la la sala. La alberca esta sucia. En general nunca tuvimos ganas de estar en ese lugar durante el día. Llegamos con una gran expectativa y salimos decepcionados. El costo es muy alto para lo que ofrece ese departamento.

Mucho lo siento que no haya cumplido con sus expectativas, con respecto a las luces vamos a checar los focos y reemplazar los que esten fundido, nunca habiamos tenido quejas de las camas siento no le hayan gustado, el TV de la sala si tiene cable quizas UD no lo supo usar y tampoco se comunico conmigo para que la pudiesemos ayudar, con respecto a la piscina se lo mencionare a la administracion del hotel como a estado lloviendo pienso es la razon que le hayan caido ojas a las piscina y paresca sucia. Super!

A last minute gift of three flights took me and my two daughters age 21 and 15 to our first trip to Cancun and out of our comfort zone internationally. I was a little worried as a mom to find a safe place in a location that would appeal to the hopes of my daughters and their different ages. We found it! We enjoyed the gorgeous Cancun water views from all the windows! The accommodation had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We especially loved having a kitchen to prepare a few breakfast and lunch meals and get cold drinks while we played on the beach. The easy access to a great beach was sublime. And the location of shopping, fun music, and nightlife, was great. It was also within short walking distance to Base Xcaret to join a couple of their great tours. The communication with Anabel before I booked was exceptional! She was great to offer ideas for my girls and I to enjoy our stay, help me feel comfortable with the decision to choose their apartment and EVEN left us a little surprise in the penthouse that I had inquired about! This went above and beyond! :-) As well Anabel offered to help get us from the airport which I could not have been more grateful for. Thats when we met Rosy. Wonderful Rosy! One of our pieces of luggage (yes…we took way too much luggage, as Cancun novices! No Beuno!) was left in NYC and there was an hour delay at the airport working this situation out. Rosy was kind and found another ride for us when she could not wait, as she had to pick up someone else. She then met us at the Penthouse apartment and showed it to us and also went beyond in a special way. I felt as if we were long time friends. I could not have been more grateful as a mother and feeling a little trip trepidation with the kindness of these two women. Dorian, Rosy’s son picked us up at the end of our vacation and drove us back to the airport. He too, was kind, even when there was some miscommunication on the transportation timing. I am not sure I tipped enough as all that was new for me too and I struggled with the conversion of the money. Needless to say, we loved our time there and this location was perfect. I am dreaming to go back with my husband and show him the breathtaking views, fun, and accommodation. Thank you Anabel, Rosy, and Dorian for your kindness and helping making our trip great, safe, less stressful, and fun! To those who are reading this review, “just don’t book the PH on the week that I’m planning to come back!” :-)

Beautiful beach views

You definitely get what's listed: gorgeous beach views, short walk to numerous restaurants and bars, located in a resort with pools, drinks, and lots of Caribbean. Water pressure was pretty light but what do you expect from an 8th floor penthouse. Great place overall, will definitely be looking to stay again!

Fantastic Location

The location is fantastic indeed. Right on the beach, close to stores, restaurants, hawker stalls. You can eat fish every day of your stay (that's what we did). Two bedrooms upstairs, living room with a kitchen annex downstairs. Balconies on both levels. Noise levels were good, we did hear some noise from Coco Bongo, but nothing that would prevent us from sleeping, or working in any way. Air conditioning worked fine. There were two bathrooms, both with a shower. Towels and basic toiletries were provided. Fridge had a freezer and was sizable. There is no dishwasher. We have survived a category 1 hurricane (Grace) in the apartment. Electricity kept working throughout the storm, water was shut down. Some water was entering the apartment, being pushed by the wind force, but we were able to get it easily under control. Restaurants and stores did not close. I guess it was business as usual. One negative of our stay was the elevators. Out of three in the building, we were lucky if one was functioning. I estimate we had to use stairs every third time. The hotel staff was working on them all the time but they were completely unreliable. This is definitely not the fault of our host! Overall a great stay in a great area at a higher, but reasonable price. Would come back again!

Miro, Thank You for your comments and you are more than welcome to come back and stay with us we are happy that you enjoyed our apartment and adding to the excitement you made it through hurricane Grace...!, I am sure it was an experience, yes the resort management have been working on the elevators and all the property owners already paid an extra quote to have them replaced this year, hopefully within the next couple of months. You guys were great guests....!

Trying to be short....

The location is kind of a mix between excelent and bad... The appartment is close to grocery market, pharmacies, conveniency stores etc... However you are also very close to Cocobongo and if you are looking for some quiet nights, forget about it. The situation on this condo is a mix of a hotel guests, condo apartments and daily pass holders, that makes thing somehow complicated, if you want to use the chairs on the beach you have to pay for them as those are exclusively free only to the hotel guests, you can use the pool chairs for free but, you have to get there early or the daily pass holders will get them all. The prices on the bar are ok, service is very good as well. The apartment itself need some repairs, there is a spiral stair that gives you access to the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms as there is no bathroom in the first floor. That might be complicated for some old people so keep that in mind.

Hi Felicio, Thanks for letting me know about the beach chairs, I was not aware of the situation, nobody had ever told me before I assume the hotel was at full occupancy this being the reason. Yes I mentioned that we needed to repair a couple of floor titles that had become loose and is scheduled to be done in a couple of weeks. Have had many guests during the last few years, many love the apartment, some don't. Thank You for staying with us. Anabel and Maria
