Histoire et nature !!!

Le niveau infĂ©rieur de la maison a une entrĂ©e sĂ©parĂ©e, avec un accĂšs facile aux meubles de patio et un environnement trĂšs agrĂ©able. À l'intĂ©rieur, le salon est spacieux avec un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, un four micro-ondes et une cafetiĂšre. Bien sĂ»r, il y a une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă©galement, avec cĂąble Fios. La premiĂšre chambre a un lit complet et la deuxiĂšme chambre a 2 lits jumeaux. Les deux chambres ont de grands placards.
La maison est trùs proche du mont. Domaine de Vernon. Il est à 10 minutes en voiture de la vieille ville d’Alexandria et à 20 minutes de DC.
Le stationnement est facile, juste devant la maison.

This was our second stay here. It's a convenient, well-laid out apartment. It was very clean when we arrived, and the hosts were friendly, inviting my kids to look at the chickens and giving us some delish pickled carrots. We really look forward to returning a third time!

This is the perfect spot for staying in a safe area south of DC if you’re there for sight seeing or any type of event. It’s like a hidden gem. Have stayed here twice.

Cute Apartment in Alexandria

Cute basement apartment with own entry. Clean and comfortable. Microwave to cook but no sink to do dishes. Main house controls HVAC. Occupants of second bedroom must go through bathroom and first bedroom to get to main living area and front door. Overall, nice area and friendly hosts.

Quick Stopover

Needed a place to stay with our two young kids on our road trip south. Despite our late arrival (almost midnight) the check in process was a breeze. Everything was ready for us when we arrived (including some cold bottled water in the fridge, which was MUCH appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay, helpful host, toddler friendly

Hosts were very communicative and helpful! We could not have asked for more perfect hosts. Check in and out were very easy. Beds were all very comfortable. Everything was well-stocked. TV and Internet were great. Plenty of dishes and coffee. Rooms were tastefully decorated but toddler friendly. Location and neighborhood were great, free and easy parking. Our kiddo wants us to buy the place! We hope to stay again. We did not do the wine experience.

Great safe location for all things DC

Great location for Nationals games or DC area sight seeing. If all you need is a safe place to lay your head and not bleed out your wallet, this place is a simple, no frills to do just that. Shower was roomy with great pressure. Beds were ok. You do have to walk thru one room, then thru the bathroom, to the twin beds room but wasn’t a big deal for us and our teen boy. No kitchen sink but we didn’t eat in. That’s the beauty of a trip away. Local place for custard and food were awesome. Explored DC without any traffic honestly because you don’t need to take major highways to get there. Would stay again for more Nats baseball and exploring. Host will greet you as you are staying in a shared residence. A true quaint neighborhood.

We had a family emergency and had to cancel this reservation at the last minute. The owner was very understanding and accommodating to our situation. If we are ever in this area, we will definitely look to see if this property is available.

Comfortable apartment in a quiet, safe neighborhood

Although the bathroom is awkwardly placed in between two bedrooms (so that those in one bedroom must pass through the bathroom to get to the kitchen or to leave the apartment, which is difficult if the bathroom is being used) and there is no kitchen, there is a refrigerator, microwave, dining room table, couch with large screen television, comfy beds, closets, and an ample bathroom with a great water flow shower. Clean towels and shampoo are provided. The rental cost was quite reasonable. In all, we enjoyed our stay there, the hosts were friendly, and the place is close to Mount Vernon, restaurants, Old Town Alexandria, and Washington, D.C. Recommended? Definitely.

Fabulous home and warm friendly hosts

This is a lovely holiday base in a quiet suburban neighbourhood which was safe to walk around on foot. Hosts live in a separate part of the building and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment is clean, stylish and homely. We used Ubers to get around as it’s just outside the areas we wanted to visit in downtown Alexandria and Washington DC but absolutely loved staying thereto get

Just like home

I loved my stay with DK and Polina! It's a beautiful and clean place in a quiet neighborhood with tons of great things to do within a half hour radius! The bed was super comfortable all the amenities were perfect! DK and Polina were so friendly and attentive - it was great to get to know them! Check in was super easy, and they gave me some great ideas about what to do while I was in NOVA, and even traffic tips to avoid the Beltway backups! I wish I had had more time in my trip to hang out with these wonderful hosts! I will definitely be back again!

The hosts greeted us as we arrived and showed us the accommodations, which were lovely. We only stayed one night but it was cozy. We went into town for dinner and had a nice meal. On Sunday evening you did not have to pay at the meters. We were very comfortable; the bed was soft and comfortable, and we slept well. Our host answered questions quickly and did not require any special tasks for our exit. The property had a beautiful garden area. We will stay again if in the area again.

Mt Vernon Trip

We were visiting George Washington's Mt Vernon House. This two-bedroom basement apartment was located very close by and in a very nice residential neighborhood. The apartment looked like new construction and was very clean and nicely decorated. It was very hot and humid out, but our apartment was exceptionally cool and comfortable. Our host was great - friendly, helpful and always available. Thank you for a great visit!
