Cabine Amish sur 40 acres de bois et prairie

SituĂ© dans la rĂ©gion du Sud-Ouest du Wisconsin Driftless cette main construit cabine Amish se trouve sur une crĂȘte entourĂ©e de 40 acres de bois et prairie pour la randonnĂ©e et de dĂ©couverte. Cadre rural et calme de la vie privĂ©e mais assez proche pour Viroqua, Gays Mills ou Readstown pour l'Ă©picerie commerciaux, etc. Dans la piĂšce principale un poĂȘle Ă  bois garde les choses confortable. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec cuisiniĂšre, four, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, grille-pain, moulin Ă  cafĂ© et tous les ustensiles et la vaisselle. La chambre et grenier deux ont lits queen size, plus un aerobed, pack et le jeu, et un canapĂ©-lit convertible. Une chaĂźne stĂ©rĂ©o / radio est disponible pour la musique.
Il ya une bouilloire Weber pour les grillades et un foyer dans la cour pour les feux de camp de nuit étoilée.
Nous nous félicitons de clients de toutes les religions et croyances indépendamment de la race, le sexe ou l'orientation sexuelle.
Parfait pour une retraite, ou une base pour explorer les parcs des régions et des ruisseaux à truites. Chien amical. La chasse est autorisée sur la propriété.

This was a truly special stay. What a welcoming cabin that instantly feels like home. The amount of little touches and courteous amenities was unmatched to many other vrbos I have stayed with. Everything was clean. East access. Loaded kitchen with anything an everything to serve your needs. We stayed in the winter, the drive is steep, but our vehicle had no issues. The perfect stay for a family or two couples. Would definitely recommend, just don't steal the date I want to come back in the future!

We simply cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Amish Cabin! Very clean, well-maintained and beautiful cabin with all the necessary amenities. Hosts made sure guests have everything they could possibly need. Warm in the winter! Comfortable beds. Nice walking trails just feet from the property. Peaceful, quiet and natural setting. A great place to really relax and get away! Looking forward to staying there again!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful cabon

The property is a lovely cabin on several acres of wild woods. We saw a variety of different birds and other animals, and enjoyed hiking to have a picnic in the meadow. Paul and Cynthia were very responsive when we had issues. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Mushroom season

Loved it. Comfortable. Great porch. Many birds. Otherwise very quiet. Well supplied kitchen with many coffee options. Went to the region to hunt morels and trout. But weather was too warm so mostly relaxed on the porch or on the trails.

Deer Hunting

Great place for our deer hunting week. We had 2-3 guys in the cabin which was perfect. We did miss a television for the football games. It’s a little dark with only lamps for lighting. We most definitely stay again.

Excellent Getaway

Amazing property and views!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was simple and had everything we needed and more. But the highlight of this place is the amazing property! The land is beautiful and there are a couple hiking trails that run through it. This is a lovely place to stay for solitude and getting out in nature.

Cynthia and I are both artists, Cynthia is trained as an actor and puppeteer and also builds the puppets for shows she creates. We also work together, I'm a musician; saxophone and music production and arranging are my chief occupations.
We live and work in Chicago and have a daughter, Avalon who is 10 and who loves to spend time at the cabin.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We bought this land in 2007 because we have always dreamed of having a place of quiet and solitude to retreat, heal and meditate. The land was the back 40 acres of a dairy farm; woods, hills and meadow with an apple orchard, perfect for hiking and exploring. Our neighbors/caretakers are an Amish family and they use a portion of the meadow for grazing.
The land was undeveloped and we put in a well for water, electrical service and a driveway from Trout Creek Road to the ridge where the cabin sits.

The log cabin was built for us by Irwin Schmucker, a local Amish craftsman.
We hope our guests enjoy the quiet and seclusion that we find here.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The Driftless Region is appealing to us because we have friends in the area and also because of it's unique topography and history. Untouched by the great glaciers, the hills and river valleys are ancient and uniquely scenic. The land was inhabited for millennia by Native American tribes who found rich land for hunting and fishing.
Nowdays the area has a mix of traditional and organic farming with a large Amish community. The town of Viroqua is close by on route 14 where you can find grocery, hardware, a nice food co op and restaurants. The area is also known for it's outstanding and plentiful trout streams, a prime destination for fly-fishing enthusiasts. We have enjoyed canoeing on the Wisconsin River, rentals are available in nearby Boscobel for day trips.
