Intendant Cottage est situé à Burton, WA sur l'île de Vashon. Cette maison pittoresque a été construit à la fin des années 1890, lorsque Burton était un village de pêcheurs. Vue sur l'océan fantastiques depuis la terrasse avec tables chaises de patio 10. 5 couchages avec deux lits queen et un lit jumeau. Deux salles de bain complètes avec douche et baignoire. Entièrement meublé cuisine, laveuse et sécheuse et barbecue au gaz pour les barbecues d'été. Toutes bain et draps fournis.
Check-in 15:00 et check-out est 11 heures, sauf dispositions particulières sont prises. S'il vous plaît appelez Troy 30 minutes avant votre arrivée pour obtenir l'accès. Si vous vous présentez sans appeler, vous devrez attendre à l'extérieur et c'est pas drôle du tout, et certainement pas une excellente façon de commencer votre séjour si s'il vous plaît appelez.

We were delighted to share the Quartermaster Cottage with two grandchildren while visiting the island for another granddaughter’s wedding. The historic house is spacious and well maintained. Though we scarcely had occasion to use it, the kitchen seemed to have anything one would need to prepare meals. The large front porch with plentiful seating and wonderful view was our favorite part of the house!

Cute cottage, great location

My family of four stayed at Quartermaster Cottage while visiting family on Vashon and had a wonderful stay. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the views were spectacular! We enjoyed being just steps from the market, a coffee stand, and some cute shops. We would definitely stay here again.

The Quartermaster Cottage was a lovely place to spend most of July. We had most of our meals on the deck overlooking the harbor, enjoyed biking, paddleboarding, and getting to know the island!

When not on Vashon, we live in Houston, TX. Tracy works in the oil industry and I am retired from a career in high school counseling. We have two grown children, a son who lives in Scottsdale, AZ and a daughter that lives in Golden, CO. We lived in the Seattle area during my husband's career and fell in love with the Northwest. We vowed to come back and live there someday. During the search, we discovered Vashon Island and have never looked back. Vashon is an extra special place to live and visit!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The previous owner approached us one day and said, "I am selling my house would you want to buy it?" We jumped at the chance to be able to become the caretakers of this "Pink House" icon of Burton. You never get tired of the view from the huge deck and are so close to beaches for walking and trails for hiking. The house was built in the late 1890's. We have maintained the charm while providing all the comforts of home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Vashon is only a 20 minute ferry ride from West Seattle and 15 minutes from Tacoma. Yet when you come to the island you feel hundreds of miles from a metropolitan area. Relax and read a book, walk the beaches, hike the many trails on the island to unwind from the busy city. The art, theatre and music scene is robust to say the least. You can enjoy a live musical performance, art show and even an opera all year round.
