"Mardi Gras Manor" est sur le registre historique datant de 1856. Magnifique maison de 3000 pieds carrés, joliment décorée. Deux des chambres et une salle de bain complÚte sont à l'étage. Le bain à l'étage dispose d'un jacuzzi / douche. Une chambre à l'étage a un lit king size et l'autre chambre à l'étage a une reine. Une chambre en bas a un lit King. Une autre chambre en bas a un lit double et 2 lits jumeaux. La salle à manger formelle et le salon et la cuisine sont en bas. Beaucoup de places de parking à l'arriÚre. The house was a perfect fit for our team's trip to Mobile. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Only thought for other renters is to maybe not put light sleepers in the bedrooms in the front of the house. But that didn't affect us and we would come back again! Donnie was very communicative and accommodated us when we needed to change plans.

My family stayed here for my son's wedding. Great historical home in a safe and central location. It is very clean, plenty of parking and very good instructions for check in and out. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would highly recommend. Owner is very responsive and understanding.

Beautiful historic house. Great house for a guys golf trip. Plenty of room for gathering and large spacious bedrooms. Plenty of parking in a well lit secure backyard area. The host and I got our signals crossed on the guest suite, but got that figured out. If you are looking to get the guest suite as well as the main house, be sure to message the host to confirm. Overall, we were really satisfied and will be back next time we golf in the Mobile area.

This place is such a fun experience! The historic home is beautiful and we loved sitting on the front porch swing. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals. There is so much space in the rooms (my kids liked trying out all the beds to find the most comfortable one and they liked them all) and it is very well kept by the owner. This place is walking distance to a market if you need groceries. We enjoyed our stay at the Manor!

Property Manager are you there?

We were excited to visit and stay in the property. That excitement slowly vanished, especially when issues with the property began to emerge. First was the refrigerator leaking and water pooled on a subfloor. Reached out to property manager, but never responded. Second was a power outage and when I reached out to the property manager, he never responded. Third was finding an active AC power junction box in standing water on the ground. And after sending the property manager pictures, the Property Manager remained AWOL. Finally, the area is riddled with homeless and the abandoned home and abandoned store near the property provided refuge to the homeless. It is understood that vintage properties requires a lot to keep up but a simple return of communications is expected when paying 2K.

We were in Mobile for a family wedding and the VRBO was perfect. The location is close to all the events downtown, easily walking distance. (under a mile). The house is comfortable with wonderful gathering space for morning coffee with family.

Holiday Family Wedding & Vacation

The property is lovely - high ceilings, spacious rooms, and great location for our family's needs. The parking is amazing! The house is easy to access and exit. It has the charm and character of a historic home, like the high ceiings and wood floors. It was wonderfully insulated for an older home. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking and eating needs. It was a really great property and we loved that we could lock the front gate for security and privacy. Water pressure in the gallery bathroom was great!

Mardi Gras Manor - perfect place to stay in Mobile

Mardi Gras Manor was exactly as depicted on VRBO. Wonderful old home with lots of charm and character. Large rooms, comfortable, a nice mix of old historical features and modern comforts. A nice front porch for relaxing outside as well as plenty of room out back. Great location, easy to walk to downtown and Dauphin Street where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars to enjoy. If you are looking to get some fresh shrimp or other seafood, we highly recommend Mudbugs.

I am a local realtor that has lived in Mobile all my life. I bought this house because I like the Historic district and everything that goes with it. Sit on the porch during Mardi Gras and watch the parade go by at the corner. It is so close to so much I like to do. Restaurants, bars, entertainment districts are just a short walk.

We spend everyday that we are there on the front porch. It has a wonderful swing and plenty of seating under the 100+year old oaks. The Home was built in 1856.
