This AMAZING property was built in the 1950's in the Old Dauphin Way Historic District. The private brick driveway has parking for 6-7 cars. The property is a 3 bed, 3 bath, 3600 square foot suite. This is the perfect space for families, large groups and even those traveling for work. Our beautiful home is equipped with all the modern amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Highspeed WiFi, USB charging outlets and large comfortable furniture are just a few thing you will enjoy with each stay. When the weather is nice there is a back patio setup with tables and chairs and a Gas BBQ Grill. There is also a secondary patio upstairs with a wraparound portch, seating, gas fire pit and a large screen TV. You'll fall asleep soundly after a full day of activities in our uber comfortable beds.The interior has been beautifully renovated and contains all the modern amenities for families, large groups and even those traveling for work.

We are conveniently located walking distance to Starbucks, a grocery store and Downtown. You will just love the beautiful historic nature of our home and neighborhood.

This house is large & beautiful with great amenities. The furniture was both functional and comfortable, and my kids loved having a tv on the outdoor balcony. We hosted a small gathering after a military promotion held in the city, and it was the perfect place for what we needed. The neighborhood and quiet and walkable, and we were happy to discover an Aldi just down the street for all of our food supplies. If we need a place to stay in Mobile in the future, this would be our first choice.

Absolutely beautiful. Love the home. Love all the decor and floor plan. The master was awesome!!!!We did not realize so many steps. It was difficult for an 88 year old to maneuver around. I did not realize this when booking! We made it work!The neighborhood was ok. Probably would not take a stroll.

Our stay at The Nest was fantastic. The communication with our hosts was terrific from the initial reservation all the way through our stay. The kitchen was so well equipped that it felt like being in your kitchen. This will be the only place we'll stay if we're back in Mobile.

“The Nest” is the Best

We found “The Nest” to be extremely clean and well stocked. Plenty of supplies were provided - toilet paper, paper towels, shampoos and soaps. Our teens were delighted to find an X-Box in the bunk room and there were even some toys provided (though we were not traveling with small children). House has everything you need from hairdryers to irons to fans in the bedrooms. Host is a dream to work with and answers any messages ASAP. Home is a historic beauty with some nicely done upgrades and finishes.

Graduation celebration

From Alaska, daughter graduating from South. Had to plan the festivities from afar and this was the perfect location. Very spacious and clean. Family and friends were able to hang out and relax before going to hotels. Just great atmosphere.

Holiday Stay

My son and his family came in town for the Christmas holiday. I wanted them to have their own personal space, and The Nest was the perfect spot for them. I truly enjoyed our stay The Nest. Everything was wonderful. Edward the host was very quickly to respond back to us when we had an issue with the lock. I can't think of anything negative to say about The Nest. I most definitely will be using again.

Most well appointed VRBO ever

Great location except fire station : doors down. Kitchen is amazing and has everything. Stairs may be difficult for older guests. Owner is VERY nice and responsive. We will rent again.

USA graduation

This property is very spacious and well appointed. The hosts through of every detail. We visited in the month of December and I was delighted to find a lot and decorated Christmas tree in the main living space upon arrival! The pantry is well stocked and it’s clear that every guest who stays here leaves a little something behind for the next family. Plenty of toys for the kids. There’s an Xbox in the kids room too. All in all a great trip and stay.

Perfect place for family

We had an incredible stay here being in town for a family wedding. It had everything we could possibly need. The entire house is beautiful and all the amenities high end. We absolutely loved the second floor deck with the tv and the fire pit. So relaxing!

Great Stay

Had All the amenities we needed and was extremely comfortable. Very well accessorized kitchen for cooking and the outdoor grill was great - a little dirty but cleaned up nicely. The location was great - but government street was a little noisy but did not affect my sleep. Beds were awesome!

The porch of my dreams

We stayed here for tennis sectionals. This house is in a great location and the amenities were thoughtful. Great water pressure! Very clean. The porch was a perfect hangout spot for our team.
