Family gathering

Jennifer was outstanding, immediately responsive to any question we had, and the house was immaculate et welcoming. The area is ideal for many reasons- Beaumont Hospital, grocery stores, and attractions. We loved our stay!

Super clean with perfect location!

Our family of 7 stayed here and were quite comfortable. Our first impression when we arrived was great. The house is in a nice location, with friendly neighbors and it is close to everything you need. We were only a short drive to the zoo! The property manager, Jennifer, is super nice and helpful and goes out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. The house itself was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed being so close to the main road and walking to view the car show. Overall we gave this stay a 10/10, and hope to come back again for another stay at the Merrill house.

Awesome rental

Our family (including two dogs) stayed here for two weeks - loved this place. Clean, well appointed, close to everything you might need. Great for pets! Fantastic host! Highly recommend this rental.

Perfect little house for family of 4

House is exactly what we needed for our little family of 4 and our trip back to Michigan to visit friends and family. House feels newly redecorated, open floor plan and board games were perfect for our 4 and 2 year olds. Only downside is it's pretty close to major streets, but we probably felt it more because we were in town for the Woodward dream cruise! And at the same time, you're very close driving distance to everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

My family (7 of us) and I were extremely happy staying at this property! The house was perfect for us! Our host, Jennifer, was very attentive to our needs and responded to our questions very promptly ! I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the Detroit area.

Surpassed expectations!

Jennifer's place was her perfect stopover for our family on our move out East. We stayed there for 3 nights including myself, my wife, my two daughters, our dog, and our cat, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was clean, well stocked, and well located to many of the local hot spots. We definitely plan to stay there again when we're in town visiting family. Thanks for a great stay!

College Visit

This was our first Vrbo experience, and it was a great one. The property is as advertised. It was the perfect size for our family to visit our son at college, and see the sights of SE Michigan. The property was very clean and in good repair. It was well stocked and the kitchen was well equipped. The Property Manager was always a text or call away, and responded quickly. We loved it!

Christmas House 2019

What a wonderful house! Very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and an open floor plan to accommodate everyone. Jennifer was available for the few questions we had. We liked that we could walk to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely return!

Great stay for family reunion!

There were 5 of us staying here; 3 adults and 2 children. We had an awesome time and the house was perfect for us. There were toys for our 5 year old twins to play with, each of us had our own bedrooms, and everything was there that we needed. The house was so welcoming and our hostess was so available for any needs we might have. The neighborhood was safe and very cute, and we were so happy we found this wonderful home to stay in!

Best Airbnb Home and Host in Royal Oak!

Jenny went above and beyond. Immaculate house, everything new- modern and minimal while still cozy with artistic touches. Great beds and linens, tons of treats, beverages, toiletries, and gifts for our children! Comfortable beds. including sofa bed and queens. Walk to park, 5 minutes to Birmingham and downtown Royal Oak. Loved the private large yard. Attached garage also a plus. Thanks, Jennifer, we can see why you are a Premier host!

Great place for family gathering

Seven of us stayed at Royal Oak for three nights to attend a family Anniversary Party. Everything was very nice. Would recommend it to others.

Super hosts!

We actually didn't stay at this specific house, although we were scheduled to. Due to water leakage in the house the day before our arrival, Jennifer called me right away and informed me that she would be upgrading us to a different house that had more bedrooms and was absolutely adorable! She even over-nighted an extra queen sized air mattress in case we needed that. The house we stayed in was not due to be available until June, but the house was so pretty and stocked with just about everything we would need. A few items that we did end up needing, Jennifer dropped off at the house for us that day! She was very accomodating and incredibly helpful as I had girls flying in from all over the country for a bachelorette weekend, and definitely made the situation and transition easy peasy! If we go back to this area, I would definitely book with Jennifer again and stay at any of her rentals!

Perfect rental

We gathered here to celebrate the holidays with my sister who lives in town. This house was a perfect place for the family to congregate since she lives in a small one bedroom apartment. The kitchen was well appointed for making meals, the bedrooms were great for our kids, and the living room was just the right area for all of us to gather/play/open presents/etc. Jennifer was a perfect owner and went out of her way to accommodate our family. She made sure we had a milk in the fridge as well as some other goodies, a pack and play, high chair and stroller for our littlest one (15 mo.) and also brought over a bag of toys and books for our older two (3 and 5). I would highly recommend this house and will definitely look to stay here again in the future.
