excellent cottage on edge of Aviemore.

first class, well maintained property, which was ideal for our party of 8 with ages ranging from 6 to 74. Cottage was well equipped and adequately big enough for us. Very cozy, comfortable and clean. Got all you need for a family stay. Not so close to walk to Aviemore center with young children, but it's a small town so just 4-5 minutes drive and your there. Excellent property in an excellent location.

The property offered excellent accommodation for us and our family members visiting Scotland from the USA. We all had a lovely time and were very impressed with everything about the property. It was scrupulously clean and all the furnishings were of very high quality. We all commented as to how homely and comfortable it felt, unlike a lot of rental properties. The lovely garden was a real bonus. We have spent a lot of time in Aviemore over the years and I would certainly like to stay in this property again.

Fantastic family holiday home in Aviemore

Have stayed at Rowlands several times over the past few years as Aviemore is a regular family holiday destination. This is fantastic property for 8 people to stay comfortably. Has all the comforts and requirements you require for a holiday in the outdoors ( the washing machine & dryer have been well used thanks to the Scottish weather on occasion ). Heating is great and there is plenty hot water for baths and showers. Very well equipped kitchen. There is also a great garden and seating area to go with the BBQ for the nice weather. Will definitely be using again.

We do not have a manager as such, as I contact all the guests directly, as it makes it easier for both parties & guests can contact me anytime if they have any questions or queries, rather then spending ages on the phone with agents, which has worked really well over the last 20 years. As advertised - nice place for a big group

The place is exactly as advertised and provides a great spot for a family or group to explore Aviemore and the Carigorms national park area. There's a grocery just a 5 minute walk away, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. but make sure to bring all the spices, coffee, etc. that you need. It's in a great location whether you're looking for hiking shopping in town or beautiful drives. The hosts are perfectly adequate and give you all the info you need. Check in was a breeze.

Everything was as described on the website and provided us with lots of room, comfort and a quiet stay. Lots of toys and a safe garden if you have children and plenty of room for adults to relax. Good easy distance from the centre of Aviemore. Great information on nearby activities and eating places. Special mention for the Mountain Top Cafe from us! Nice and roomy in a quiet neighborhood

Great communication from the owners. It is an updated and well done added-on-to house that has the feel of a well loved home. The 4 of us, two couples, had more than enough room to spread out among the 4 bedrooms on 2 floors and we had everything we needed. It's a 5 minute car trip to Aviemore so restaurants, coffee, ice cream and shopping are close by. It's in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

Nice stay after initital hiccup

This is a nice, spacious property in a good location in Aviemore and we had a very comfortable stay. The only problem we had was that the property wasn't cleaned for us on arrival and still had dirty bed linen etc from the previous guests. There seemed to have been a miscommunication with the cleaners but after calling Gary, he managed to get it resolved for us asap, which was much appreciated.
