Just to say thanks to mike for a great few days at your property - wish it had been longer. Will definitely be back place was spotless and other than the jacuzzi bath not working, everything was perfect. Thank you
We enjoyed very much our stay at Sneuk Head. The cottage was clean (not spotless đ, but clean), well equiped, and close to luxury as we were 3 so we had each a bathroom, though "only" 2 showers!
On top of this, there are plenty of activities to do nearby, and the house is close to the A9 if you want to go further.
The host was very responsive to the various questions we had and always very kind.
All in all, we'd be very glad to come back there if we have another opportunity.
this is a well kept well maintained property there was lots of room for all the family, as described there was a beautiful view from the front of snow capped hills and a field of sheep from the back. The house seemed to have every thing we needed from a well stocked kitchen to toys and games for the kids. I also like the location, being just 15 minutes from Aviemore. All in all i would have no hesitation in recommending this property
A really comfortable modern house which was equipped to an excellent standard. Three generations of family had a fabulous relaxing weekend. We enjoyed the nearby Folk Museum, Ruthven Barracks, Kingussie - Star Hotel booked for family meal, good food in relaxing, friendly setting. Would love to return and do more exploring, what a beautiful area! We all did short walks around the property making friends with the sheep, horse and rabbits! We plan to return and do more exploring and would stay without hesitation in this clean, well equipped, comfortable property. Thank you so much.
For the first few nights there were 4 adults, 4 children and a dog, the house was easily big enough for all of us. When one family left, the house seemed huge.
The location is peaceful but close enough to both Aviemore and Kingussie to enjoy their options.
There are a couple of dog-walking options and the scenery is brilliant.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a base to explore the surrounding areas.
Michael, the owner, has thought of almost everything for the house, including the supply of firewood for the log burning stove in the living room. The communications were superb and I will definitely be telling friends all about this wonderful place.
We had a lovely Easter break in this comfortable house. Well equipped property in a quiet village outwith the hubbub of Aviemore but with so many things to do close by to please our 3 generations. We enjoyed walks and cycles on the farm tracks from the back door. We visited the Insh Marshes RSPB Reserve, Highland Wildlife Park, Highland Folk Museum, Loch an Eilen, quirky cake shop at Inshriash, Loch Insh Watersports and Skiing, Leault Sheepdogs, Alvie Zip Trek, Rothiemurcus cycling, Loch Morlich and the Cairngorm Mountain Railway. Two tips: stop in the lay-by opposite the white church at Kincraig and from the path up to the kirk you get a great view of the Osprey nest on Loch Insh; if you're visiting in the next 3-4months there is no petrol station in Aviemore - nearest is Newtonmore or Grantown-on-Spey! Hope to be back and would highly recommend property to others.
My family and I stayed at Sneuk Head Kingussie, in the Cairngorms - Scottish Highlands. It was a fantastic choice. It was clean, well-maintained and had great access to nearby attractions. We were thrilled with the location and had a wonderful time exploring the stunning scenery of the Highlands.
The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, providing us with plenty of room to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay, and the beds were comfortable and cozy.
We also appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made the accommodation feel like a home away from home.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Vrbo accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, and excellent location make it a great choice for families, couples or solo travelers. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future
Ansonsten gern wieder.
This is a nice place to stay, close to the Cairngorms but away from the busyness of Aviemore. We enjoyed having the train just down in Kingussie for taking a day trip to Edinburgh. The house is as expected, but feels a little sterile. The neighborhood is quiet.
Es gibt eigentlich alles was man braucht.
Sehr empfehlenswert
