Wonderful!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean and comfortable, very well equipped (but we did miss a Keurig), and everything was in very good order. And the view: priceless. We did have internet connectivity issues which were resolved by the intervention of Sandy Beach staff, particularly by Cristal who could not have been more helpful. All in all, it was a great place to stay.

Amazing stay

Beautiful decor, comfortable in every way. Kitchen was completely stocked. Everything you could need is provided. The only thing lacking were beach chairs. Also there is a palm tree growing over the balcony. It partially blocks the view of the beach, and is coming through the railings. It really should be removed.

Beautiful, clean condo

This was our third time staying at Sand Castle I, but this was, by far, the cleanest, most updated condo we have had. The remodel is beautiful - from the appliances to the overall feel of the condo. Everything was tidy and spotless. There were no beach toys and only one beach towel, but we knew this was a possibility going into it as there were no guarantees of what was left from previous guests. The only downfall was that we had partially picked this condo because of the advertised photo of wonderful seating on the balcony. We love to eat and spend time overlooking the water, but when we arrived, we found that none of that furniture was there and it was replaced with plastic chairs and two, small plastic side tables which weren't enough to accommodate meals. This certainly didn't ruin our stay though and we were so grateful to have such a great experience here.

Beautiful views!

This was our first visit to this area and we loved it. So many choices for eating out and grocery stores within a short drive. Our condo was very nicely decorated. There was a large, very comfortable sectional to relax on at night and such cute outdoor furniture for our morning coffee. We spent several nights watching the lightning over the ocean sitting on the balcony. We have one minor complaint and one complaint that is more important to us . Minor complaint- the condo is smaller than it appears in the pics online. Still cute and we enjoyed our stay, but let's just say angles & perspective of photos was slightly different than reality.....our fault for not looking closer. More importantly was a few areas within the condo that were definitely missed during cleaning before we arrived. The guest bathroom had hair in the shower & dirt on the floor in the corners . Master bath had dirt in the corners too and urine on the side of the toilet. Also, there was old food in the refrigerator and dishes in the cupboard that we had to rewash. We cleaned those areas ourselves and went about enjoying the rest of our long overdue vacation. So we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the specific areas previously mentioned, but overall we still enjoyed ourselves and this condo. We do still wonder why we paid a cleaning fee and then had to clean parts of the condo ourselves???

Beach vibes in Indian Shores

The condo was in a wonderful location for our family vacation-right on the beach! The daytime views are incredible and the sunsets are spectacular! The beach items were helpful-chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards-we used them all! The pool and hot tub were great and we enjoyed them every day, though they both looks like they could use some maintenance and updating. The kitchen had been updated and was bright and well appointed. The overall decor was ok, but was not particularly inspired by the beach. There were a lot of knickknacks and decorative items throughout-there were bowls of faux fruit, small faux plants, fish sculpture, etc on every counter, table, dresser, nightstand. I had to carefully find a spot out of the way and move a lot of them so that we could better move in our things for our week’s stay. It made check out take longer having to put all of those items back into their original spot. I think with vacation rental knickknacks less is more with since so many extra decor items cramp the space and just collect dust. This isn’t a huge deal, but is feedback for the owners. The unit could use a deep clean overall and better cleaning between renters. Also new, clean bed pillows are a must and pillow protectors are needed. Overall we had a nice time and the sunsets are truly incredible!

Nice condo

Nice condo in Indian Shores. Great condo space, location, and amenities (beach access, pool, hot tub, volleyball net, etc). Beautiful weather as well. Many dishes in the condo were dirty, so we had to wash before using, but overall this was a great place to stay. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Great location, perfect size and space

Visited this property July 24-2021- July 31 2021 with my family of 3. Really love the location! Beach access from the property is extremely close, (no long haul with all your gear to get to the water) and easy to get to. This is a quieter/less crowded area of the beach, but if you want to go to the more active areas of the beach (Clearwater) and towns; its only 10-15 minutes away at most. Love the amount of space, we had two adults and 1 teen (whose pretty much an adult) and we loved having 2 full baths and 3 beds. Very large kitchen that had plenty of room for us all to hang out in while cooking. The balcony area has wonderful seating. The view is beautiful. Yes there is a palm tree right in the middle but it's not the end of the world. The pool area is very nice as well and has plenty of seating available. The things that we would have liked to have been different is the A/C in the bedrooms didn't work very well. It was noticeably hotter in there and one night my daughter slept on the couch because it was so much cooler. So that may need to be looked into. It would be nice if the heavier living room drapes went all the way across the sliding door. In the evening around 7:30-8 we'd watch a movie and start to wind down and the you can't see the tv for the glare from outside. It also would have been nice to close that during the day while we were at the beach and pool, to keep the heat out from the sun. You can't turn the AC down lower than 72. Also, we couldn't figure out how to work the main LR TV for the first 2 days we were there. There's not very clear instructions for that, so I'd suggest making a step by step list to make it easier for renters. The parking spot is the 2nd one in the lot facing the road. Also, the lamps in the guest bedroom didn't work at all, we were going to call and just forgot about it, another little thing is there were no batteries in one of the remotes so I bought some. Again, this is a great location, and the condo is very well taken care of. Would stay in this building again but in a condo on the top floor. Noise from the room above (little kids) is very loud.

Perfect breezes & sunsets

Comfortable, elegant decor, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable balcony furnishings all made our stay very nice, but the balmy breezes and lovely view of the Gulf made it especially romantic and enjoyable. Best unit we have ever gotten from VRBO!

This condo is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed - except beach towels that we knew before hand. Great location right on the gulf and close to restaurants. A few cliches but the property manager told care of everything immediately. We will definitely come again!

Great view of the sunset from the balcony.

This unit is tastefully updated. The kitchen is well equipped with all needed utensils. The view from the balcony is great! The tree in the picture doesn't hinder the view. There are beach chairs and a few floats. There is a Publix within 2 miles. It took a moment to find the parking spot because they weren't in numerical order. (It's the second spot closest to the driveway). Be sure they email a parking pass! Follow the instructions for the TV, it's got a surround sound system integrated. Overall great unit. Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the construction across the street. The pile driver started at 8:30 am and went all day.

Fabulous condo!

Pictures really don’t do justice to how nice the condo was! Beautiful interior-clearly been redone recently. Great views of the beach with easy access. Check in and check out was super convenient.

Paradise

Wonderful vacation spot for our family of 5. Indian shores is awesome as well as this condo. What a nicely done vacation home. It was nicer than expected as well as very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely return!
