Thank you for the 5-star review! We're glad the Christmas decor made you feel at home and that everything worked as it should. It's great the layout provided plenty of space for different activities. We appreciate you choosing Meredith Lodging and hope to host you again soon.

We're sorry to see your stay fell so far short of expectations. We didn’t receive communication from you during your stay, so we'd love to hear from you and find out why you gave it a one-star rating. Please message us through Vrbo with specifics so we can address the problem and improve future stays.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing this feedback — I’m very sorry your stay fell short of expectations. I understand the hot tub and the entertainment system were amenities you were excited to use and I'm truly sorry we couldn't have them fixed before your stay. We do sometimes have amenities go down, and their fixes are not always simple. I hope the refund you received reflects our sincerest apologies that we couldn't get them in functioning order in time for your stay. We appreciate the feedback and will use it to improve.

Hi Bryan! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Although we cannot guarantee availability, we do our best to accommodate requests for early check-in/late check-out if possible; however, many of our rentals are booked back-to-back. We value your booking and hope to host you again.

Thank you for highlighting the neighborhood, outdoor spaces, and the easy walk to the beach. I'm so glad those parts of your stay were enjoyable. I'm very sorry that you learned of the hot tub mechanical error only days before your arrival. We have since removed it from the listing as the vendor has confirmed the repair will be quite extensive. I completely understand your disappointment about it being down and am so sorry this impacted your stay. Regarding the wet carpet on the stairs and the water smell in that area, we had just had the carpets professionally deep cleaned two days before your arrival. Most of the carpet dried in the 24 hours as expected, but clearly some spots did not receive enough time with the fans and I'm sincerely sorry this was cause for concern. I will remind housekeeping to do a thorough check for any wet spots following the deep carpet cleans. We will also notify the owner that it's time to get a contractor to inspect the deck and make an improvement plan. Thank you again for the detailed feedback.

Thank you for staying with us and for the detailed feedback. I’m glad the home’s layout, cleanliness, and number of beds worked for your group, and I’m sorry several issues impacted your stay. We passed each item to our teams and have taken action where possible: - Living room seating: maintenance and housekeeping inspected the furniture and confirmed it's all sturdy and in good shape. It doesn't need replaced, yet, but we're prepared to do that when the time is right. - Game room: we replaced the pool cues, there's now 6 working cues. We are working on purchasing new boardgames and puzzles - Streaming: we reset the Netflix password. The downstairs game room TV and main level living room TV are now logged in and working correctly - Hot tub: we need to replace the hot tub and cover this year and are making plans to do so. Thanks again for the helpful notes. We appreciate the input and hope to host you again.
