Sea Haven - Meredith Lodging
You’ve come to the right place if you’re hoping for a vacation home that will delight your guests, including the younger set. Sea Haven is a pretty, convivial retreat perfect for including friends and family, with lovely indoor spaces that are rivaled by the variety of areas outside. The great room is filled with ocean light from large, wide windows on two sides and beautiful views down to Roads End beach. Leather sofas invite you to gather in front of the gas fireplace and large flat-screen TV, and the gracious dining room with seating for ten assures everyone a seat at the table when it’s time to eat. The large, open, fully-equipped kitchen, with its tiled floors and excellent ocean views, keeps the cook connected to the conversation. Sliders off the living room open to a covered patio with a dining table and hot tub, so you can extend the enjoyment outdoors.
There is a lower yard and an additional fenced lawn area for outdoor fun. In addition to the king master suite with TV on the main floor, there are two bunk rooms and a queen bed with an ocean view on the upper level. The big surprise is downstairs, however, where a whole separate living area, including a kitchen, dining table and media hub with a TV and a leather sofa, share space with a bunk room with a foosball table and a king master suite. It makes Sea Haven an ideal home to share with more than one family, in a terrific location near Roads End beach, shopping, dining and the Chinook Winds Casino.

I would not recommend this place to someone till they get it fixed up. They have a broken handrail going up stairs it smells moldy in the basement. There are a lot of wires plugged into surge protectors a queen size bed is poor quality there are steps that people trip over in the hallway and entering one of the bathrooms there were not enough towels in the bathrooms or in the kitchen there was some mold along the wall in the basement. There’s a water valve exposed alongside at bunkbed, the steep stairs, make it very difficult for older people. The hot tub is very hard to get into lots of safety things.

The pictures were taken probably 15 years previous, when the couches weren’t duct taped. They were so low it was hard to get out of them! Baths were moldy. Didn’t have enough bath towels, they were brought the following morning. Not enough glasses in kitchen, but 10 8” skillets. Hot tub worked and was fairly clean. Was not depicted accurately in pictures and was overpricedI. I would not recommend it and would never rent again. The view of the ocean was nice from the main floor!

Its a perfect get away for a multi families stay. We loved our stay with our pets. Easy access to the beach and kids loved the play area and hot tub.

Great Stay!
Amazing, cozy house by the water perfect for large groups! Has great views and amenities, including an awesome hot tub! We had a bit of trouble finding the keys to the hot tub, but got quick and efficient help from the property management. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect house for mother/daughter retreat
The house had nice accommodations for teen girls and their moms. Girls could alll stay in bunk rooms. Moms had own beds.

Host was super responsive with any issues, only issues we had were:1. There are only 4 cars allowed to park in the driveway at any point and that wasn't in the listing2. The place could use a little book or something to let you know details - mostly we just wanted to know where the key to the hot tub was

Girl’s getaway
The girls from my class of 1975 enjoyed the property. It looked bigger in the pictures. We wished it had a bathroom on the top floor, but over all we really enjoyed the view and the size.

Our family getaway
This home has an amazing view of the sunset at night with lots of windows in the main living area. This place was pretty great for all ages. We had 13 people age ranges from 0-65. We had everything we needed. Only down fall was the home needs some TLC. It was still an amazing weekend. Would love to stay again.

Good place
The property served our large family well. The beach was only .4 miles away, but be prepared for a HIKE if you’re going to walk. Much simpler to pack up and head to the Roads End Beach just down the road. Bunk beds are not comfortable for adults but the kids didn’t mind.

Won’t stay here again
Won’t be staying here again, the hot tub smelled like dead rat. The house was very rundown compared to the pictures.

They also did another routine service check on May 23rd, and nothing was found nor any foul odor detected. Lots of fun
Older house, but we are Idaho farm folks with kids and grandkids. Enjoyed it very much. Saw raccoons and deer in the yard. Nice hike to beach. Lid on the hot tub is deteriorating, and boards on the playhouse are spongy. Might give those some attention. Spiders scared some of the girls, but Grandma crawled around and squished them all! Better than bug spray, in our opinion.

Great place!
Really liked the place and its proximity to the beach! It worked very well for our group.
A few warnings to be aware of that didn't affect our enjoyment but might be a concern for others:
1. The walk down to the beach from the house is very steep. Be prepared to drive a super short distance if you have young or old travellers.
2. The two downstairs bedrooms don't have actual doors, just drapes that don't quite cover the openings.
3. There is only one communal bathroom -- the others are in two of the bedrooms.

Parking at the property
Apparently it is a city ordinance that u cant park more than foir cats in a driveway, although this driveway can hold atleast 7 cars comfortably. Very inconvenient.
