This property was so cute!! My husband and I stayed for the week and loved it! Jenny was so easy to work with and we were so close to everything! Beach, shopping and restaurants were just a few minutes walk!

Amazing getaway!

The place was perfect! It was close to everything and we loved ending each night in the courtyard where we utilized the firepit and relaxed. We would happily stay again!

Great Beach Retreat

The Inn is a great space near the beach. The rooms are in an adorable converted house, and the full wrap around porch/patio outdoor space is a luxury unlike other spaces on the island.

Lovely Inn very close to the Beach

We enjoyed our stay at the 17th Street Inn very much. The room was very comfortable. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed. The courtyard area was very cute, but wish we had a balcony to sit on while it was raining. We would recommend it to friends and family and would definitely stay there again.

Unbeatable location

Couldn't be happier with the location. A 2 minute walk to the beach just south of the pier, numerous restaurants within a 10 minute walk, and 15 minutes to Alley 3 for sunset. The area was very quiet, plenty of on-street parking (with provided all-island parking pass) right in front of the location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Jenny was a delight to work with throughout, I will definitely look at this one again for my next visit.

Wonderful all around!

Our room was perfect for our business/pleasure trip. We handled business in SAV and HHI, then hit the beach. Food, drinks, beach and shopping within 1 block. Room was quaint. The building was quiet. The bed was comfy. We will return!

staying at this place was essentially subpar glamping. the shower was grimey, like you want to wear your flip flops in them — immediate improvements would be changing the shower head, handle, and cleaning the grout. the toilet seat was wooden and chipped, swapping that with plastic would help greatly. feels too expensive for what you get, and there’s an annoying noise of sorts that rumbles at random intervals, but very good proximity to the beach and food — bathroom just could be cleaner.

cute but uncomfortable

The Inn is quaint and nicely decorated. Good location if you like being close to the bars and souvenir shops. All suites do not have a balcony. The bed is extremely uncomfortable (like sleeping on a cot). Jenny was not willing to work with us to find a reasonable solution for the bed and avoided my phone calls, even when I explained that I was having severe pain due to the bed being too stiff with no support.

Hi Paige! Thanks for the sweet review. You were not ignored, you were directed to the property manager to discuss the memory foam mattress that we have on the bed which is in all of our rooms and have hosted 100s of stays. You called over 10 times about this and we answered everytime you called. We are sorry that you personally didn't like the way it felt, and we've have not had any complaints on the beds, however, we understand not all mattresses are a one size sleeps all situation. We do not feel that it is right that you threatened us multiple times with a poor review and would "ruin us online" unless we refunded your money which is against the Guest/Host Extortion policy.

Room was small. Bed was wore out and lumpy. Picture showed full size coffee pot . Messaged Jenny about coffee pot and she neglected to respond. Had responded minutes earlier when had trouble getting door unlocked.

I do apologize for your experience in our beautiful property. I did verify in the property description that it says that our coffee maker takes K cups and there is a photo of it on the countertop. In the photo it is a black one but we did replace them with pink ones but both were K cups as described. We looked through our messages and didn't see where you requested a regular coffee pot as we do have some that would have been taken to you immediately as we do have that request on occasion. We take pride in answering our requests within a few minutes and apologize as we never received yours. We will definitely look into the mattress and haven't had this response from previous guests. We would love to have you back and visit our property. All the rooms are different sizes and perhaps you would like to stay in one of the other rooms. The pictures of this room does show a good representation of the size. Again, we hope you enjoyed other aspects of the property. Have a great day.
