The property is located in the perfect spot for a quick trolley ride or a walk in Forsyth park. The property was very inviting and tastefully decorated. It was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed during our stay.

Terrific Location and Home

Centrally located and just off Forsyth Park, the property worked out very well! Walking distance to most everything in town and a surprisingly large unit that was easy to "live in!"

Great location! Easy check in and check out. Grocery store 2 blocks away. It was very clean and perfect for our stay. Rental company communication was good.

Return to Savannah

The property had an excellent layout and used the space very well. Right out front of the door is a DOT stop, so you can easily get downtown for free without having to worry about parking. The house was comfortable and equipped with what you would need for a week's vacation. We would absolutely stay again!

View of the Park

Best, best location. Being across the street from Forsyth Park - on the first floor- was wonderful. We sat out there every day people and dog watching. Being right in front of a DOT free transportation spot made it even better.

This home is beautiful and comfortable.

This is the perfect location for a Savannah Trip! Being across the street to Forsyth Park just made it even more perfect. You can walk, take the bus or uber anywhere you want to go. You feel very safe and it is beautiful! The beds were incredible comfortable! 6 women had the best Mom’s weekend away ever!!

Inside is beautiful

Inside of property is beautiful and well taken care of. The outside needs a good power wash! Overall, great location and easy access even though there is no parking lot for the property.

Location and relaxation

This is a beautifully updated historic property situated right on the edge of Forsyth Park. While the location was great, the house itself is the real draw. Two main bedrooms, both with King beds, feature mattresses as comfortable as home. The third bedroom also functions as a parlor and features a queen Murphy cabinet bed. The kitchen is HUGE and let us cook comfortably. We will rent this one again!

Perfect location

The free Dot bus stop was located right outside our front door making transportation easy. Apartment is laid out nicely with bathrooms convenient. The showers are wonderful and the Beds are very comfortable. We cooked a number of meals and a lager fry pan would have been nice to have .. Skimpy supply on the TP for 5 women for a week. Suggest using less fabreez or whatever on blankets but all in all it was wonderful.

Lovely interior

The interior was very nice and spacious. The bedrooms were beautiful. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Front porch could use a little more seating and updating. Location was great for getting around, however, the Jazz Festival was going on the weekend we were there so our view was of portable toilets and food trucks. And very noisy, but I realize the property owners have no control over events in the park. We did enjoy the music one night however! Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

Savannah wedding

We were here for a wedding so it was our first time in Savannah. The place was right across the street from Forsyth Park which we frequent every day. The house was beautiful inside. The beds were so comfortable. TV was a bit of a challenge but we got it figured out. Parking outside was also a pain but once we parked we pretty much walked everywhere and there was the trolly stop literally right out front. Wish the back patio was a little bit nicer but we didn’t use it so no big deal. Would definitely stay there again.

Walk in the Park- Perfect Location

A “Walk in the Park” was a pleasant surprise! Easy check in, property was as promised and a convenient location away from the riverfront. Parking along the streets on either side wasn’t bad at all. Just make sure to move your vehicle the nights they sweep the streets to the other side. The beds were super comfy! A free bus stop was located right outside the property that we took on several occasions down to the riverfront. If you decide to walk to the riverfront it’s about a 15-18 minute walk and we felt safe at night. Forsyth Park is located directly across the street as well and we even enjoyed one night for a concert on the lawn. This property has everything you need and was enjoyable!

Clean and cozy stay!

We stayed at this property in September for a wedding. We loved it!!! The unit was clean and cozy and very nice. We had everything we needed. We loved the location. It is right across the street from Forsyth Park. Having little ones with us, we spent half of Saturday just enjoying all the park had to offer... the playground, Saturday Market, and the open fields where we could run around and play. My husband and I enjoyed an early morning walk around Forsyth and stopped at a coffee shop very close by. There is also a bus stop right outside the unit which takes you to downtown Savannah for free. When we visit Savannah again, we will definitely stay in this unit again!!!

Walk in the park.

This property was gorgeous on the inside, the high ceilings made it feel large and spacious and the bedrooms were plenty big. Although it is listed as a three bedroom, the third bedroom is really a den with a bed, but that didn’t bother us at all. We have been to Savannah several times so we are well aware of the parking situation in the city. in this particular property parking can be tricky but as it turned out we didn’t really have any issues. On our second day there I received a call from the property manager to insure that everything was as we expected, which was a nice touch. All in all the location was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would take that rental anytime. Joe

Great Location poor customer service

The location and city is great however there were a few issues with the unit. The tvs did not work the entire time we were there. We called and texted multiple times and it took 2 days to get ahold of someone then I was told they would call me back and never did. I will never rent from this company again.

Beautiful home across from Forsyth Park

We have stayed in this rental before because we love the location and how nice and clean the house is. As mentioned in another review we did have an issue with the TV. The TV would turn on but did not connect to the provider. I made Southern Belle aware of this immediately upon check in and they said they would send someone out. The next morning I reached out because no body showed up and they never answered me back. This was never resolved during our stay. The unit is spacious and very clean. We love being right across from Forsyth Park too. We did have a plumbing issue on Saturday, hours before we needed to get ready for a wedding. We contacted Southern Belle and they responded right away and sent their tech out as soon as possible. He had to call in additional help since it wasn’t a simple fix. At that time, Southern Belle offered us another rental to get ready in for our event. We were on a time crunch and I felt they moved fast to find a solution and this really helped us. Check in and check out is simple and overall I feel this is an amazing house!

Do not rent from Southern Belle Rentals

First let me say I never write bad reviews and we have rented many places all over the world through VRBO. This property was nice but the management company is horrible. Upon check in a service tech was at the property and told us the toilet was blocked. They were able to fix this issue cleaning out the sewer line from the property to the street. I had no issue with the plumbing problem as the blockage was cleared within a couple of hours after check in time, The next morning we heard water dripping from the ceiling in the closet in the one bedroom and also from the light/fan above the shower in the bathroom. We quickly soaked up the water on the hardwood floors and put pans to catch the water in the closet. We knew this was not a supply line leak knowing it had to be from the shower or toilet above. We were concerned the water dripping into the closet which soaked our clothes was sewer water and concerned the light/fan in the shower would be safety hazard if we used the shower. We promptly called Southern Belle and explained the issue. This was Friday morning and they told us they would send someone out. After four adults took turns in the other shower we finally left the unit. No one called us all day to inform us if the issues was corrected. Upon return to the unit we again called Southern Belle. The person told my wife someone else would call her back that evening. No one ever called. On Saturday morning the same issue occurred with the leak. We called again and were told they would try to have someone come out but it may not be until Monday. We again told them about the water leaking into the light/fan above the shower and expressed our concern over the safety and possible electrocution. We did receive a text on Saturday afternoon and once again after explaining the situation to yet another person they said a tech would be at the property in 45mins to 1 hour. We received no communication if the tech showed up or not and if the problem was fixed. Sunday morning and the same issue. This time I took video and sent it to Southern Belle. They communicated later in the day a plumber would be out to look at the issue. The plumber came and did fix the issue which was related to the drain in the tub on the floor above our unit. After several promises that customer service would contact to discuss, I finally received a call after I sent an email stating actions I would take and they offered $150 credit. Do not rent from Southern Belle!

We are sorry for water leaking into your unit from the supply line from another unit in the building. You experience isn't typical as we usually have access and can control what is happening in all of the units around us but that wasn't the case here. We arent aware of any delay on our end of having someone help you as we were quite speedy with coming over to help. We look foward to seeing you in the future.
