La villa est bien. Tout y est, mais sans extra. Le point fort est la vue est magnifique. L’arrivĂ©e fut un peu dĂ©cevante (la propretĂ© moyenne comme si personne n’y Ă©tait passĂ© depuis un moment : planchers sales, idem pour le balcon et l’eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas bcp de petites fourmis dans la cuisine surtout) Il faut savoir que la villa est trĂšs proche de la piscine / bar du resort donc jeudi vendredi et samedi sont des soirĂ©es trĂšs bruyantes avec les soirĂ©es salsa et karaoke. Nous aurions aussi aimĂ© savoir se faire trĂšs attention aux ratons laveurs qui ont ouvert eux mĂȘme les portes patio et mangĂ© notre nourriture de notre frigo. Bref, la villa pourrait ĂȘtre magnifique mais elle manque d’amour. Nous avons tout de mĂȘme apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour malgrĂ© que la villa n’a pas du tout Ă©tĂ© Ă  la hauteur de ce que espĂ©rions. Par contre, les communications ont Ă©tĂ© bonnes et rapides.* faire attention, plusieurs escaliers pour se rendre Ă  la villa donc non recommandĂ© pour les personnes Ă  mobilitĂ© rĂ©duite. La piscine est magnifique et trĂšs bien entretenue (2 fois en 7 jours)

Th host was very responsive when we had questions prior to our stay and during. The location is right beside the pool which was amazing for our kids and we found no issues with “late night” music or partying. The rooms were a perfect size for sleeping. Villa in resort

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. We brought our family so the 3 bedrooms were perfect for each of us to retreat to have any personal time and rest. The kitchen was well stocked. The villa was clean, you will just need to clean it yourself as there is no room service. The bedrooms he ac and fans which worked great to stay cool. Our master bed was firm and clean.The villa is right next door to the pool in addition to the personal mini pool on the back patio. The pool has music til about 10 but it was nice and didn’t keep us awake. The beach here is very family friendly, nice waves, clear water and wonderful people. Swimming and walking back our comfortable villa were some of the best highlights of our trip. There is a shuttle that will drive you if you’re not into walking. But all that uphill walking made me feel relaxed and strong. Thanks so much for the stay. I do recommend this villa!!

Playa Hermosa condo with great view

We stayed at this condo for about 3 weeks and really enjoyed it. Great location in quiet beach town. The condo provided plenty of space for our family of four, very quick WiFi which made remote working easy, great location, and the whole resort property was very safe. I highly recommend bringing ear plugs because the main pool is next door and loud on Friday and Saturday nights.

We stayed here for my wife's 40th birthday. The private pool was awesome and the unit is located directly next to the hotel pool's bar. There are plenty of transport buses for the resort...it is steep in some areas

Disappointing value considering cost

Our short stay at Villas Sol was unfortunately marred by several issues. Upon check-in, the back two bedrooms' A/C units were not functioning and the pool was very dirty. 24 hours after checking in and after nearly 9 hours of workers at the property, it was resolved. We had read in reviews that the property is situated next to the main pool but were unprepared for the zero soundproofing of karaoke and club music that went on until 11pm both Friday and Saturday nights. It was difficult to dine and sit on the porch in the evenings due to the raccoons. The neighbors use a spray bottle, which the owner might want to invest in. Our last night, they were tapping on the bedroom window for hours. Inside, the property needs updates given the rental cost: several light fixtures were flickering, the kitchen trash can lid was broken, and the ants in the kitchen (despite keeping all food in the refrigerator) & bathroom areas were overwhelming. (We've stayed in tropical locales before and expect some indoor critters, but these areas should probably be sprayed considering the volume.) The location and beach shuttle were convenient, but this particular unit left much to be desired.

Home away from home

Our family rented this unit for a month over the Christmas and new years holidays. It has a wonderful view and the private plunge pool on the deck is great for kids and adults alike to watch the sunset and just as great to watch the sun hit the coast when it is on its way up! The close proximity to the main pool and swim up bar is also a bonus for lovers of music and all of the activities they have to offer, our family was a big fan of the pool, darts and table tennis. We would definitely stay here again.

Confortable beds, Waking up every morning to a beautiful ocean view while taking a swim i out own private pool. Plenty of hot water, the shuttle service to the restaurants and beach made it easy to enjoy the resort. Its a short drive to playa del coco for shopping, restaurants and night life. Highly recommend

Great Villa and vacation

We had a wonderful experience in this villa. Owner and property manager receptive to questions and friendly. Amazing location (especially with kids, as close to large pool). Villa has everything you need to cook and great spot to travel around Guanacaste. Thanks for a great vacation.

Christmas Vacation

We spent 3 weeks in Costa Rica and had a amazing time. The place was great we love the pool and the sunsets/views are spectacular. Management supported us if we had any question they were great. Overall we had a great trip. I definitely would stay here again.

Villa Sol 53

We loved our evening sunsets & early morning coffees overlooking Hermosa Bay. The villa was very comfortable. It was well stocked & we really appreciated the beach chairs. There was one downside for us; it wasn’t as private as we had hope, being directly by the community pool definitely had its ups & downs, convenient but noisy - music from 8 am to midnight which depending on the volume was great other times no so great - but no worries as the shuttle service had us to a beautiful beach within 15 minutes. Over all I would definitely give it a solid 4 out of 5. Mucho Gracious 🩋

Wonderful Vacation

We had a great week at Villa Sol. The property is dated and is in need of several updates. We loved the plunge pool. The kids used it everyday, and it was a great ending to very busy days. We also ate at the restaurant several times. It was buffet style, and the food was good. We like exploring different restaurants so the all inclusive was not a good choice for us, but if you like convenience it’s a nice option. We used Villa Sol for most of our excursions and tours. Nemi at the front desk was AMAZING to work with and helped us plan an incredible week. Overall, a great week. A few updates to the property and fixing broken fixtures would give this property five stars.

Enjoyed our stay .was very nice to have our own piece of paradise on the deck.We love walking so going up the hills to get there was fine there is a shuttle that runs for people with mobility issues. We really enjoy exploring everything Costa Rica has to offer, and our villa is located in a great area to be able to do that. Only 25 minutes from the Liberia airport, directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, and a good starting point to visit several national parks as well as the volcano range.

When you first enter the villa, your eyes are quickly drawn to the breathtaking view, and the large covered patio is a fantastic spot to watch the sun set over the Pacific ocean. It was love at first sight!
