Drake Park terrace

Easy access to Drake Park and a beautiful leisurely walk to downtown. Floated the river and were able to walk right across the street to dry off on the driveway with front tow seats to the park. Walked a few nights to nearby food truck lots and a concert at Hayden amphitheater. Used the gas grill for a home cooked dinner we enjoyed on the cozy quiet patio.

Great location in walking distance to downtown Bend, the Deschutes River trail and a ton of beautiful parks. Step across the street into Drake Park and the Deschutes River. Plenty of great eating spots a d in walking distance to Old Mill shops and the Hayden Homes Ampitheater for concerts. We would use this property again. (We visited from Connecticut)

It was our wedding week and we had the unit rented for 7 days. Unit was dirty and muggy. Front steps were being held on my duct tape, Ac unit was very rattly. Owners spy on you through large windows next door. Came up in search for allowed dogs. We found out upon arrival that they didn't allow dogs. Got kicked out with in 5 minutes of being there and would not issue a refund. I think its a scam to keep peoples money. Its Bend, OR during peak season and a weekend. If it wasn't a scam they would have issued a refund for our misunderstanding and it would have been rebooked within hours.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry your stay didn't go as planned, especially during such a special week for you. To clarify for future guests: our pet policy is clearly listed on the booking page, and unfortunately this property does not allow animals. When undisclosed pets are brought to a property that doesn't allow them, it's considered a violation of the rental agreement, which is why the stay was ended early — this is standard policy across the industry, not something specific to this booking. Regarding refunds: cancellations or early departures due to a guest's own violation of the listing terms aren't eligible for refund, as outlined in the rental agreement signed at booking. We understand this is frustrating, but it's applied consistently to protect owners and the properties we manage. Regarding the front steps, AC and window spying, we will evaluate to ensure this isn't an issue. Also, I'm not sure why you felt spied on, no owners live on site.

Everything was wonderful! It was great to be so close to downtown Old Bend. So many great parks, shopping boutiques, and restaurants in walking distance. Great place to rest after a day trip to Crater Lake, Umpqua Hot Springs, or Smith Rock.

Our week at the Drake Cottage was lovely. Nicely updated while keeping the charm. It had everything we needed. The fireplace was very enjoyable. We had an issue with the toilet and the host had it fixed with in a couple of hours. Very responsive!
