Maui was a beautiful place to visit.

Enjoyed this place. The view was nice with the ocean. It was a quiet and relaxing place. We had six of us staying and we were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful location

While it's a bit dated it's the perfect spot for your family to enjoy all that Maui has to offer. Sofa bed was comfortable for our son all week! Adequate amenities in the condo to make your stay stress free. Thanks for helping us make more Maui memories!

The condo was clean had plenty of utensils and a variety of kitchen implements. Plenty of towels, well stocked, excellent location, design was a little dated, but in good shape.

Everything you need in one spot!

Property itself was great, no complaints. Even had a/c in the bedrooms. Updated furniture and anything that you’d need for a beach day. Loved the deck! Location was perfect for kam iii beach. Our only complaint would be the human late night noise from other units across the way and the road noise in front of the property. I only mentioned this in case you need super quiet to sleep. The noise did keep most of my group awake most nights.

Maui Parkshore

Property is just as described with all amenities and there were even beach chairs and umbrellas on the lanai for us to use. The condo is perfectly situated in Kihei with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The condo could use a little sprucing up (paint chips and furniture). And the property manager (Lisa) was very helpful and welcoming.

Wonderful March stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed in Unit 302 several times over the last 20 years--it's truly my family's go-to spot. Clean, cozy and welcoming. On this particular trip, we loved our daily morning ritual of sipping coffee on the lanai while watching whales (so many!).

Summer vacation

Amazing location and loved the view. Love how there is a shopping cart to assist with bringing up groceries. Unit was remedoled; when there was a plumbing issue outside our unit. Management did great about communicating when plumbers would be arriving. Hands down will be returning!

View of the ocean and you can walk to the beach.

The property was clean and had a great view of the ocean. Everything worked well. Only negative is how hot it is insides. Lots of windows and fans but you can only do so much when it is 90 degrees out. Looks like some owners have invested in A/C or swamp coolers. Thanks for providing a place to enjoy Maui!

Loved having the boogie boards, snorkel gear and umbrellas for the beach. I had a conference in Wailea, which was a quick 5 min drive. Road is busy, but seeing the ocean from the lanai was perfect. No AC, but things cooled down at night with fans. Quick responses to all our questions and they were wonderful about accommodating us in any way they could!

Great location

The location was perfectly spot on. The condo had everything we needed for our week stay. My husband did have to fix the garbage disposal (there were door knobs, bandaids, and other weird things inside lol). We were able to cook meals, sleep comfortably, and enjoy the view from the lanai. Sunsets were beautiful. I saw other condos in the complex that were way more updated than this one, and although that would be quite nice, it’s not necessarily needed. A lot of the beach gear on the patio was broken but they did have two boogy boards, lots of flippers, and multiple beach umbrellas in good condition. The location is AWESOME. Directly across the street is Kamaole 3 beach, where we went almost every day that we stayed in town. The kids swam, body boarded, made sand castles, snorkeled, and we watched the beautiful sunset, all with a life guard watching everyone. For the price, this place was great for my family of four for a week stay! We left some cleaning supplies, kitchen items, and cleaned out the vacuums and dryer for the next guest :)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Maui Parkshore #302, but with the condition of the condo is poor. The shower door didn't close, the hole by the kitchen sink, the lack of cups and glasses, the toaster etc were old and not working properly. The living room chair was also leaving termite trails on the floor. We love the location of #302, but feel that it needs to be freshened up. Towels, Sheets, pillows, Dishes etc need to be replaced. Maui Condo was great was we did call and have them repair a few of the issues listed above. But it would be amazing if the home owner would give this unit a refresh. Thank

70's condo...never been updated

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the rental was outdated. I'm not sure there has been any updates since the rental was built. The paint was discoloured and chipped.The cabinetry was very dated and the grout around the sink looked like it was in the mist of being fixed but not completed. Very disappointed that the owner is unable to maintain this property. The location is great but the unit I would NOT recommentd. The basic amenities were sufficent however the television was consistently difficult to use. Considering this is a family property the pool has the most ridiculous rules..basically children can not have fun and jump around. The list of "don'ts" for the pool is a mile long.

Family vacation in Maui

We were a group of 8 people, so rented 2 condos in Parkshore. #302 was the better unit of the 2 as it had more updates. This was our 2nd stay in Parkshore although in a different unit.The unit was clean upon arrial & had reasonable amenities for our stay. It was nice to have left over basics (seasonings, sauces, flour, etc) from previous guests as it makes the shopping & cooking easier.The boogie boards & beach gear was also appreciated. Lots of towels & linen provided. Overall the property is well maintained with a nice pool & bbq area (recently updated). The location is great - right across from the beach & close enough to shopping & restaurants. The unit is closer to the main road so a little noisy at night if the windows are open. Earplugs helped.The property mgt company was very responsive to questions & even called to check in after we arrived. I would recommend this unit to friends. A couple improvements would make the stay even more enjoyable: 1. Provide a small safe to keep passports & extra cash (even though its a safe area, it would be good to know our valuables are secure while out)2. provide sun screen for the lanai (patio umbrella or screen)Suggested repairs:The washing machine is quite loud, the shower door in the master bath didn't close properly so water leaked out, no potato peeler & few wine glasses.

A comfortable place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was not the newest on the block, but it was very comfortable, clean, well kept & well appointed. We loved being across from the park & the beach! Eateries were close at hand, within walking distance. There was a gas station "close by", ABC, that had limited groceries, but enough to get by on. The one drawback was the road noise. It was pretty constant from morning to night. It didn't disturb our sleeping.

Caution to families

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental property company that we went through was great, however the resident manager of Maui Parkshore, Jonnie, was incredibly difficult. We avoided time at our condo as he was always watching waiting for us to do some thing wrong. This was not a family friendly location. While attending the pool key came multiple times to say that we were doing some thing wrong. This location really is a better senior citizen location. He threatened that he could have us evicted if he found us doing something else wrong. The first time he came into the pool was when my 11-year-old jumped in the pool. Jonnie tried to tell us that he was running into the pool. There really is no room for that. The second time my other son had found a 6 inch in diameter Beachball in the bushes and played with it in the water and he came and said that was against the rules because there are no flotation devices allowed. He even admitted to sitting in his unit watching us. He was just waiting for us to do something wrong. We got a call from Maui Home and Condo Because he had contacted them and they even admitted that he is very difficult to work with and can be very particular. This is putting it mildly! We did not feel welcome in our own condo. We had small kids, but did not drink or party or cause any trouble.

Remember this condo has no air conditioning - has lots of fans and a great breeze though. However, many other condos on this property have portable AC units in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again, but only in the cooler months due to no AC.

August 2019 Stay

Fantastic place to stay. A couple of items would make it exceptional. 1. Wireless router has a bad power connection which results in the router turning off regularly, ending all connections. Replace router and/or power connection. 2. Carpet on Lanai should be replaced - has some stains, worn heavily. 3. Sofa bed was difficult to stow away after use. Would not fold properly when folding it together. Either needs adjustment or a new sofa bed. 4. A couple be beach chairs - two are quite worn and should be replaced. If you could have 5 in total, that would be perfect. Overall we would return to the unit - perfect for our family of 5 and a great location across from Kamole III beach. Excellent checkin process with app - very easy and superior to anything we have used before. Thank you for having us as guests in Maui. Mahalo.
