Check in was suuuper easy. Apartment was super cute. Nice and clean. Kitchen was the perfect size for one. WiFi was good. The only potential down side is that it was a little loud being right next to a busy street, but that doesn’t really bother me. It’s a great location so worth it.Thanks!

Great location very noisy, loud nights.

Location close to Waikiki beach is great. The unit we stayed has a great balcony and view of the ocean. The problem for us was the street noise. The windows in the unit are old single Payne. They don’t stop any noise so we didn’t sleep much at night.

Awesome

The best prepared room I have stayed in at the Waikīkī Grand. Plenty of towels which made you feel like you were at home. A very nice touch. We will be back.

Great location!

We spent 4 nights here for our anniversary! Such a affordable and convenient place! So close to the beach.. steps away and great views of Diamond Head, the beach and the Zoo from our room and balcony!

Wonderful stay

We loved the location of the hotel-across from the zoo and the beach is ideal. The views from the room are fantastic. We like to keep the windows open but there is traffic noise and you can hear people talking in front of the building at all hours. Otherwise very wonderful stay.

Perfect trip

What a wonderful property and location. It was perfect for a short trip with family. The location was right off the beach and it was a quiet area with walking distance to so many things. Right across from the zoo and the beach. The parking that we got was perfect! Highly recommend this little gem for 1-2 people.

Great location - great value

Yes it's small, yes it's noisy at night, but it quietens down after midnight, however location is ideal, and you really can't beat the price. Bring ear plugs if you go to bed early.

Great stay

Great stay, communication was great from hosts, awesome location. Parking is tough, we recommend getting parking from the host but note, parking spaces are small and tight. Also, street can be loud at night but it’s Waikiki, what do you expect!

Great view from balcony!

Great location and beautiful view of Diamond Head to the beach. Had an issue with the sliding door however, the manager had someone come out quickly to fix. Street noise is loud, but otherwise no big issues. Had a great stay!

Exceeded expectation

Location was good to everything. The view of sunrises and sunsets never let us down from the lanai. Only option that would be nice is a juice jug that we could fill with water to put in the fridge.

PERFECT LOCATION

Location...Location! Right across from the Zoo and the most gorgeous beach!! Perfect for a couple. There were issues in the room though such as lanai door was hard to open and shut...shower water never gets "hot" and the noise from the street at night is not filtered at all..we were woke up a LOT! Overall..its a cute little setting for a week stay.

Great location!

The location of this place was great. Very easy to get around every where. Love the balcony view of the Diamond head, the zoo park, and the beach. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The unit can use a bit more cleaning. the air conditioner by the window and the refrigerator was very noisy. An upgrade on those 2 items would have been a pleasant stay. Regards!

Waikiki Grand Room 715

The Waikiki Grand hotel is located at the quieter end of Waikiki next to the zoo. You will find quick access to the beach and will awaken not only to the sound of the ocean but often of zoo animals. The Grand is unique in that rooms are individually decorated. Room 715 is tastefully decorated, well equipped, and has excellent views of the ocean, Diamond Head, and the zoo. The lanai allows you to enjoy the spectacular views. I have been staying at the Grand for many years. You will enjoy your time at Waikiki at this facility at the Grand.

Great little place!

Room was small but perfect for a couple weeks and Price was good. Windows were falling apart and patio door worn out hard to open and close. Would have been nice with a few cleaning products so we could clean up as we stayed two weeks. We bought a swifter and some spray cleaner. Over all stayed at this facility 5 times know and is nice and close to everything. Not the ritz but works could use some upgrades!!

First time in Waikiki

Access to the Waikiki beach was great. Great view from 7th floor balcony as we could see the ocean, the zoo and Diamond Head. The room was smaller than it looks in the VRBO pics. I was also very noisy at all hours. There is a bar on the second floor that stays open very late. The parking lot across the street is a gathering place for loud cars and mopeds. While we never felt unsafe, it was hard to get a good night's sleep.

Great Location

The location and view from the lanai were great. It was much smaller than it looked in the picture, but worked for us. The rooftop is a great place to hang out. We took champagne and picked up some breakfast and sat up there for a lovely brunch. The pool doesn't have much sun, so we never used it. The beach across the street is incredible, especially during the week. It's nice being at the end of Waikiki, next to the park, zoo, and away from the crowds. I did recommend to the owner to upgrade the linens and pillows, and he said he would. So hopefully the bed will be much more enjoyable for future renters. Enjoy!

The View!!!

Wake up to an amazing view of the sun coming up to the left behind Diamond Head with the ocean to right. The view never gets old!!! Room ls exactly as advertised, comfortable bed & decor same as pictures. Windows & floors need a good cleaning & a/c squealed really loud one evening but stopped. It is very loud, most coming from daily/nightly traffic, it’s a high traffic area foot & vehicles even on the 7th floor. Most nights I was too tired & it didn’t keep me from sleeping. And make peace with the roosters across the street they will be a vocal part of your vacation, lol. If you anticipate the noise you will enjoy your stay here!!! It’s a little older hotel but I liked it & I picked it for the view & would consider staying here again. The staff was always friendly, approachable & ready to assist you.

Nice condo with 180 degree view of Diamondhead & beach

Clean well furnished condo with the best view in Waikiki, an unobstructed 180 degree view of the koolau mountains, Diamond Head, and the beach on the edge of Waikiki. Close to Waikiki's tourist activities but not right in the middle of all the hustle & bustle, so a bit quieter. Just a block from Waikiki beach where there is a breakwall swimming area for children or the open ocean. Have breakfast at Lulu's at the corner of Kapahulu & Kalakawa , on the second floor overlooking the beach. Huge portions that you can take half back to the condo for the next morning, and delicious! Quick easy access up Kapahulu to the freeway when you want to get out and explore beyond Waikiki, or to get Leonard's Malasadas for breakfast or Rainbow drive-in for lunch, or to Safeway for groceries. I love my morning walks around the zoo and Kapiolani park and along San Soucci beach and the Natatorium. Very peaceful in the early morning before the tourist crowd gets going. Aloha, can't wait for next years trip!

Too loud!

We had mixed feelings about this one. The location of this unit was good as it was really close to the beach. The bathroom and kitchenette were pretty updated and bed was comfortable. While I expected this unit to be small, the professional photos somehow made it look bigger and brighter than it was. The air conditioner unit is so close to the bed. And the level of noise in this unit was awful. I thought we had accidentally left windows open as you can hear absolutely everything from the very busy street below. There is also a nightclub on the 2nd floor and all the noise from it carries. I was prepared for that with ear plugs, however sleep was really tough even with ear plugs on the busy club nights. We wouldn’t stay here again.
