The cottage suited our needs perfectly. It was quiet, peaceful, well equipped and with a lovely outlook. Although the weather was very cold and rainy the weekend we were there, the cottage was snug and warm.Buninyong is a small town but has a good supermarket, pub etc., and Ballarat is close by. We went for a couple of very pleasant walks just out of Buninyong.

Proximity to friends house was the main reason to book but was very happy with all aspects of our stay.Clean, easy communication, view and very comfortable beds.Nice touch too with a jar of lollies

Our home for the week was a delight, we were greeted by the sheep, llama and chickens outside our window on arrival. Ian & Joanne were great hosts, and their little cottage was full of warmth and character nestled at the top of the picturesque hill in a lovely location.

Extremely gorgeous spot of land, with wonderful views from the balcony with some furry friends in eyesight (sheep, alpaca, horses). Quiet spot, clean, decor is beautiful and you have everything you need for a getaway. I would highly recommend this place.

A Great Hideaway

We absolutely loved our stay in Buninyong. The cottage was very cosy, perfect for a winter getaway, whilst the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this wonderful retreat, we would definitely go back again.

A stay with personality

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The hosts generously shared their family heirlooms in this granny flat and the alpacas were a delight. Lovely hot shower too!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at this lovely accommodation. Highly recommend for anyone to come here, switch off, veg out and relax off the treadmill of life. Beautiful scenery and great views of the local area.

Great little weekend getaway

Photos don’t really do this place justice. Very cosy and quaint and a great view sitting out on the balcony. A clean little cabin with everything you need to stay comfortable. Owner was very friendly and accomodating. Definitely recommend.

Already planning our next visit

Rustic cottage with lots of personal knick-naks. Clean, quiet, comfy & great hosts. Great views from the covered patio, to sit and soak in the serenity, or watch the alpacas in the yard. Ten minute walk to town for a good meal at the pub. Already planning our next stay & have recommended to a friend. What a relaxing place. Thank you :)
