We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-We are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience and apologize for any disruptions caused by ongoing hurricane recovery efforts. During your stay, we promptly addressed minor issues, such as replacing TV remote batteries and repairing the shower rod, to ensure your comfort. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to make your stay as smooth as possible-Additionally, a plumber was scheduled for the next day to resolve a concern about the toilet; however, you kindly let us know that the issue had resolved itself, so we canceled the service. To help make up for these inconveniences, we also provided a partial refund. Thank you for choosing to stay in our home, and thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We are in the process of taking care of the downstairs door lock issue, some delay was caused by the limited availability of contractors while the upstairs main door provides access to the unit. Regarding the leftover cigarette smell, it appears a previous guest did not comply with the no-smoking policy, however, we have done extensive cleaning to get rid of any remaining smell and shouldn't be a concerns for future guests.. There is ample lighting in the home, however we will be installing additional floor lamps to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded. Again, thank you for your feedback and we hope to have another opportunity to host you in the future!"
