La maison est idĂ©alement situĂ©e pour un accĂšs immĂ©diat Ă  une variĂ©tĂ© d'activitĂ©s de plein air, y compris le VTT, le ski (xc et alpin), la pĂȘche / la navigation de plaisance.
Situé à cÎté de la riviÚre St Louis et directement en face du début du sentier de vélo Mission creek Mtn, à 1 mile du domaine skiable du Mont Du Lac, à 2 miles du parc national Jay Cooke, à 1 mile de l'accÚs au sentier de randonnée Superior, à 6 miles du domaine skiable Spirit Mtn et 14 miles du centre-ville de Duluth.

The house was very convenient to Mont du Lac where we had a wedding to attend. Great places to walk in nearby park. Nice playground for our granddaughter.

Lovely home a few minutes out of Duluth...10 to 15 min? Close to Spirit Mountain. Beds were comfortable, place was clean, area around was quiet, it has a country feel.

The house was well equipped and comfortable for our party of nine. It is a twenty or so minute drive from downtown Duluth, but the roads were good and traffic was light. It was very quiet at the house so that’s was a plus.

The property was clean and bright, and was well set up for a group stay. Having 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms was luxurious
plenty of space for us to spread out, and get ready to go without being in each other’s way. The kitchen was well stocked, we found everything we needed for food prep and clean up. The large table was well lit, perfect for meals, games and jigsaw puzzling. We would definitely rent this property again.

Excellent, clean, large, easy parking adorable home near Spirit Mountain

5 adults and 2 sets of twins age 4 & 8 stayed 3 nights for National snocross racing. Accommodations were super clean, tons of space (more spacious than the pics show), space for parking 2 trucks and one with a race trailer, easy access and check in/out, highly recommend!

Nice, clean home...odd location

The place itself is beautifully kept. Everything was clean and comfortable. The place is spacious. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into it. The location is fine; definitely on the edge of Duluth. The kitchen overlooks an RV campground.

We would stay again

Lots of space. Part of our group could not make it. But had there been 10 people there still would have been enough space. We initially had plans of driving to Duluth but there was so much to see in Fond Du Lac that we never drove there. From the State Park to going to a gorgeous place called the Trophy Lodge for cocktails there was no shortage of things to do. I would say the only complaint we all had was the dining room and deck chairs did not have cushions. All of us could not sit on them long before moving to the couch. Especially the dining room chairs. This is a real easy fix if they choose to do it or you might want to bring your own cushions. Again we would stay here again.

Girks Gooseberry Trip

House was perfect for 6 ladies. Mirrors and lights at the three upstairs desks would help to provide makeup and hair styling stations to free up the bathrooms. But that is minor detail not needed by all. House was quiet and we felt safe.

Holiday Vacation

We rented this house for a quick family vacation. Worked perfectly for our family. Large rooms, large house, plenty of chairs, and sitting space. Just what we needed for our stay. Plenty of room for parking. Our group had 4 vehicles. We would stay here again if we come back to this area.

A Hidden Gem

Trailhouse is a very appropriate name for this hidden gem! It's roomy, well stocked and the perfect location for visiting parks or MTB trails. Plenty of parking, comfy beds and a stocked kitchen means you'll be cooking up some delish meals after your adventure. With 2 TVs your group could break off and watch their own movies. The hosts are very informative and the listing was accurate. Any questions were answered quickly and they offered up activities to help make sure we were having a good time. We'll be back for sure!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

For the immediate access to the wonderful outdoor activities while still having quick access to the greater Duluth area.
It has quick access to some of the best Mtn biking, nordic skiing , hiking and fishing in the area. It is surrounded by a hilly and eroded landscape, beautifully mixed conifer and hardwood forest with minimal undergrowth surrounding a quiet community setting that is hard to believe is within the City limits of Duluth.
Interestingly, it is difficult to know by looking at it today but the Fond du lac area is where Duluth began. It is the exact location of where the French explorer Daniel Greysolon Sieur DuLhut came upon the indigenous Native American community residing at the shores of the river now know as the St. Louis and the head waters of Lake Superior.

Fantastic Mtn biking, hiking, skiing(nordic/alpine) paddling, fishing are all within minutes from the door of the house. The Trailhouse is newly renovated and comfortably outfitted to house groups of up to 10 people.
