Notre cabane en rondins taillĂ©e Ă  la main est installĂ©e dans un creux avec de douces ruisseaux alimentĂ©s par des sources, des hectares de terres boisĂ©es Ă  explorer et le calme que procure le terrain dĂ©gagĂ© vallonnĂ© de nos voisins. Le porche enveloppant est un endroit idĂ©al pour se dĂ©tendre par beau temps. Traversez le pont jusqu'au belvĂ©dĂšre, qui se trouve Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du barbecue au charbon, du foyer et de l’étang. C'est enchanteur!

This is a comfortable and well-appointed house in a great location. The property and grounds are lovely and is set up to feel very welcoming. Julie the host is a great communicator and provided all the right details at the right time. Would definitely stay again.

A GEM of a mountain cabin! Very clean, spacious, and a gorgeous property. You could feel the rich history with the photos and decorations all throughout the home. Julie was a wonderful host and communicated effectively. 10/10 experience.

Pastoral Paradise

Beautiful private cabin with sweeping pastoral views and grazing deer. It was a lovely week and perfect location close to Blowing Rock and Boone!

We had an excellent time at Julie's cabin. We found the home itself and the surrounding area to be gorgeous. The cabin was vibrant, secluded, and cozy. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

This property is a gem. The cabin in immaculate and has everything and I mean Everything you need. The grounds are simply beautiful. The owner is fantastic and great communicator. I would absolutely recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed

Absolutely perfect getaway

The photos on VRBO didn’t do this location justice. Tucked away in a rolling valley on a mountain, with a gazebo, bubbling creek, and all the amenities we could ask for. Sadly it rained our entire stay, but if the sun had come out we would have taken our grandson out to explore the property. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and I had a great time cooking every evening for my family. (I miss having a gas range!)The location could not have been more perfect.

Gorgeous property and home

The house is set in a lovely valley surrounded by grassy fields, rhododendrons and deer. The house itself is very well-appointed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The host couldn’t have been more thoughtful and professional. This rental is a bargain! A great value and a great experience.

Much Needed Helena Getaway

My wife, dog, and I visit Boone/Blowing Rock a couple of times per year from Asheville. This year the reservation timing and rental couldn't have been better. After 12 days without power and water we escaped to the "Enchanting Log Cabin". It was the perfect rental being set in a beautiful and private surrounding, close to both towns, very clean, well-equipped, AND HOT SHOWERS! We will definitely return here on our future visits :)

What a great retreat!

Wonderful property! We had a great stay at the cabin. A terrific location between Boon and Blowing Rock, and right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Although very close to all that both towns have offer, it was very quite and peaceful, with deer in the back yard every morning. We could not have been happier with the property (and when a slight problem arose, the owner was incredibly responsive and the issue was resolved immediately). We would absolutely (and probably will!) stay there again.

Absolute dream!

I came with my dog up from Florida for a winter escape and that's truly what it was. First I will note that the photos of the living room and kitchen don't do it justice -- absolutely beautiful wood floors and there's always sunlight coming in through one of the windows. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. The house is quiet, so peaceful and yet you're an easy drive to shops and anything you would need. You lose cell reception in the house, but the Wi-Fi signal was strong throughout so I had zero issues. Julie was an absolutely wonderful host, she was responsive and gave such detailed and thoughtful responses to my questions. She truly cares and wants you to enjoy her home as much as she does. I would definitely come back and highly recommend a stay here!

Secluded Mountain Getaway

The cabin is so unique and in such a great location. It's secluded enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of life - surrounded by rolling hills, flora and fauna, mountain springs and fresh mountain air - but close enough to Downtown Blowing Rock/civilization. It was such a nice and relaxing time with our family. The Wifi is really strong which was a huge perk as some of us had to work remotely while there and be on zoom calls and the connection was great. Our dog absolutely loved the open land and being able to run around. We will be back!!

Loved it!

We went with family for a long weekend and it was great. The cabin is so welcoming and really gives you that mountain’s experience. The house is very clean and very well kept. Loved how peaceful the area is and only 10 minutes away from Blowing Rock. Julie was really great and very responsive. We’re looking forward to going back. Maria

So many interesting things!

We were with some friends, visiting our kids at App State. The house was a quick distance from the university, so it is very convenient for our needs. The house was one of the cleanest we’ve ever seen. It’s rustic but artsy. There are so many interesting things throughout the cabin. Deer are everywhere at sunset, and it’s a beautiful view from the porch. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to stay at this home again.

Perfect Getaway

I can not say enough good things about Friendship House and Julie. The house was absolutely perfect for my family. It was very clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. Such an idyllic setting. We all felt very much at home. My daughter had so much fun playing the piano. We also enjoyed a couple of games our first night there. Julie was extremely helpful with her communication, and made sure we knew everything we needed to know before we got there. Again, can't say enough good things! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful oasis in the mountains

We had a wonderful winter weekend at Julie's cabin & my family it was our favorite rental yet! We appreciated the quiet, the rolling hills, the beautiful rhododenron and moss, picturesque brook, and then inside we had everything we needed in a beautifully decorated and cozy cabin. Instructions were simple & Julie was very easy to communicate with. We were 12 min to downtown Blowing Rock and quite close to Boone. We will most certainly book again.

Beautiful Cabin!

I stayed at the cabin with my family for the weekend while visiting my brother’s family to celebrate Christmas together. The cabin is beautiful and in a beautiful location. It was spacious and comfortable, a great place to host the family celebration. We saw snow and deer. The parking area was easy to pull in and out of (you can’t take that for granted with a mountain cabin). Our dog enjoyed running off-leash in the open area around the cabin. The owner was very nice and responsive, providing abundant information to make our stay better. We would definitely stay here again.
