Belle charmante maison de plain-pied, situĂ©e dans un quartier trĂšs recherchĂ© de Eagle Point. À trois miles de ski pittoresque Ă  Bear Mountain Ski Resort, et Ă  seulement un mile de Pine Knot Marina, tout le monde sera proche de quelque chose d'amusant Ă  plonger!
Pendant les mois d'hiver, nous recommandons un véhicule avec 4x4 pour accéder à la maison en toute sécurité.
Le plan d'Ă©tage ouvert du salon principal est inondĂ© de lumiĂšre par l'abondance des fenĂȘtres, soulignant les riches planchers de bois franc et l'espace disponible. DĂ©tendez-vous sous une couverture prĂšs de la cheminĂ©e Ă  bois pendant que vous terminez un bon livre. Mettez une charge de linge dans la laveuse / sĂ©cheuse pour que tout le monde regarde bien.

Overall, this was a good stay. The property was clean, well stocked, and in a convenient location—about a 5-minute drive to the village. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Our check-in was delayed by about three hours, but the host offered a late checkout to help offset the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Overall, a decent property in a good location and we enjoyed our stay.

When we arrived at check-in time, the home had not been cleaned. None of the beds were made, there were wet towels sitting in the washing machine, and the property was clearly not ready for guests. After we contacted the host, it wasnt until over 3 hours later that the house was cleaned.As we were traveling with a two-year-old, this delay significantly disrupted our first evening and bedtime routine, and we were not able to settle in until around 8:30–9 pm.Beyond the initial cleaning issue, the home appeared poorly maintained. Several faucets and shower heads were leaking and covered in heavy calcium buildup. The light between the beds in the back bedroom did not work due to a non-functioning outlet. One of the space heaters was very loud and sounded as though it had loose internal parts. The area rug under the dining table would not lie flat and continuously rolled under the table. Kitchen cupboards and drawers were misaligned, and the non-stick pots were scratched and not usable for cooking.The host initially said he would “make it right.” However, at checkout (11am) he informed us he would not be offering any refund and stated that we had already received “the lowest available rate on Valentines weekend.” He offered a 2 pm checkout as a “gesture of goodwill,” but this message was sent at 11 am after we had already left because that was when we were told check out was.While we appreciated that he sent someone to clean, the property should have been ready at check-in.

Perfect for relaxation and convenience

We arrived Friday and left on Monday. Close in the ski areas, the marina, a park and the Village this cabin was perfect for our family of 3 with a couple family members visiting for a day. Spacious and very clean, it had everything we needed for a trouble free stay. The photos tho do seem to show the living room and dining room as much larger than it was. Probably in the camera angle. We loved the roomy dining room table, perfect for putting a jigsaw puzzle together.

Centrally located which was great! Property had all amenities we needed. The back bedroom got a little cold at night.. Moreso my fault than the fault of prop owner that I didn't know how to work fireplace... Over all, great place to stay.

Thanksgiving cabin

This is one of the cleaner homes we've stayed at in Big Bear (only the shower floors can use a gd deep cleaning). I liked that it is super close to meadow Park and the village. It was pretty cold at night so the small electric heaters helped alot although we still made sure the kids wore long sleeve/warm pj's. I would have preferred a fire burning chimney but that was my fault for assuming all cabins had one in BB. Overall, a great Thanksgiving experience, would love to stay here again.

LOCATION!

The location of this property is so convenient to everything but still get the feel of the mountain outdoors. Could be a “tad” cleaner and a little more lighting in the kitchen. Very well stocked with what you need. We had a wonderful time. It was just wait we were looking for.

Spring Break Family Vacay

This property was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved the Arcade machine and Foosball. Well appointed kitchen made meals easy. Wall heaters and portable units kept us nice and toasty at night. The backyard and patio was great for the dogs. Easy walking distance to the lake and huge parks. Adam was very responsive to our concerns.

The house was great for our needs. Perfect location close the bear mountain and the village. The power went out for about an hour and the lanterns in the house did not work, thank goodness someone brought one with them. Not enough towels or paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay

Adam was very kind and responsive to a few questions that we had. The property was terrific for a family. Lots to do to keep us busy, foosball table, old school arcade game, chess, darts. There were plenty of blankets and pillows. The space was clean and roomy. It had everything we needed. One small note: it may be time to replace the pots and pans. They are old and the nonstick pots no longer are nonstick. Other than that, everything was just wonderful and we would recommend this place to others!

Great place and location

Spent valentines weekend with friends at Adams place. The place was very clean and bigger than expected. The fireplace was a nice touch and never felt cold. Great amenities like Netflix and foosball. Great location to downtown and other snow activities. Check in was easy and the welcome gift we got was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at this cabin was really clean and had a lot of amenities to keep us entertained even with the whole Covid pandemic going on would rent again.

Great location, 5 min to Snow Summit

It was an overall nice stay at Adam's place. The cabin is very close to Snow Summit and the lake, which provided easy access for when my friends and I went snowboarding. There is also a Ms. Pacman arcade game, darts, and other games available in the house, which was great. However, there is no central heating in the rooms; the heater is only located in the living room, so the bedrooms were cold at night. Also, there was not a lot of hot water available after someone takes a shower. All in all, I would recommend staying here if you have a decent size group and want to be close to the mountain!

Big Bear Trip

We were impressed with the property how well taken care of and stocked with necessities it was. The back room was a little cold but they provided us with room heaters which helped out. I would definitely return to this place next time we visit Big Bear.

The house is nice, the lighting is fluorescent, which made it hard to relax in the evenings. No central heat, but space heaters provided for the back rooms. We had a miscommunication about our check out day, which was my fault, the owner was fairly decent about it, although I know it was a stressful situation.

Unfortunately, would not stay here again. House was not very clean or well maintained. I really don’t like to leave a negative review, but if this place had a fresh coat of paint, a DEEP cleaning, and some pride of ownership it COULD BE a great vacation cottage. Tips for a more pleasant stay: - lots of screens missing from windows, and some with holes, so if replaced it would be better to air out the house in the hot summer afternoons - replace flannel sheets with cotton in summer - deep clean house esp window sills and bathrooms - provide laundry detergent - Give some TLC to the outdoor space, we would have liked to spend more time out there but was so dusty and not well kept
