We loved this home! Close enough to the village to walk, not too far from Summit either. The house was comfortable, clean and perfect for our family. Communication with the host was easy. I will definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at this property, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The home is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. The location is ideal—only a casual 4–5 minute walk to town—and the views are absolutely stunning. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, and the house is stocked with everything you could need: washer and dryer, full kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, crock pots, TVs, and games. A perfect stay once again!

Holiday weekend stay

The house was clean and just as described. The proximity to the village was perfect for our family. Just a short walk and we were at the retaurants and shops. We were even able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the top deck!

Fantastic location and amenities

We had a great stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Big Bear. Lots of space in the house and a full kitchen allowed for an enjoyable experience. This property was perfectly located close to Snow Summit and the main road and shops, but in a quiet neighborhood.

Not sure why people said 10/10 for this house because it was not clean. Everything was falling apart or dirty. The couches were all ripped. The room carpets were all dog hair. Not a house for kids with dog hair everywhere and very steep stairs. You open the door and it’s the stairs. The balcony downstairs was not actually covered it was leaking all the rain down. The window shades were all broken. The house is very dark and small. I would rate the 1.

Great Family Stay

Everything that was advertised was spot on. The location was great and the house is nice! This is a perfect place to stay for families and to be close to the slopes and the Village. There are not shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), but that's ok we travel with our own stuff. Other than that they had all the amenities needed. Suzannah was a great host, thank you!

Great place for a family getaway. Everything we needed was there. Close to the village and Marina. Don’t go by GPS to find the trash disposal.

Snowy Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Due to an incoming storm, we weren’t sure we would make it up the mountain for our reservation. The property owner was helpful and accommodating and provided us with weather and traffic links used by locals, which proved to be extremely helpful. We were able to safely make it up the mountain and did not have to cut our trip short. The cabin felt like a home and was very cozy. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Would definitely stay again on our next trip!

A most spectacular house

We loved the house, very roomy, comfortable clean, very well maintained. We didn’t cook In the house but everything you would have needed was there. Bedrooms are large, living space excellent, kitchen, bathrooms clean and large. When we arrived it felt like home there was nothing lacking at this property. I hate to leave such a good review because we want this place to be a secret just for us!!!! Highly recommend, great communication with owner.

The property looked well kept and updated. There were a lot of family games in the house. The kitchen was equipped with enough cookware and dinnerware to prepare and have a family meal. Some of the windows did not have window covers. The one's with covers needed to be replaced.

Perfect Location

I am giving this property an overall 5 star review.The cleanliness was okay, it was cleaned, the only issue was above the refrigerator. It’s a dust collect and it was not touched.The check-in process was easy and the host were very communicative in addressing any and all issues right away. The online accuracy of the listing was spot on. Especially with the location, it was less than a 5 min walk to the Village and an easy 5 min drive to the slopes. The neighborhood was quiet and you can tell there were a lot of VRBO or Air B&B’s in the area, or at least it seemed that way. It’s a perfect destination for a vacation.It was easy for us to find activities for them. It was a great weekend overall and we are thankful to our host Suzannah and Luke.

With its cool autumns, snowy winters and beach weather summers, we always dreamed of being able to own a home in Big Bear to share with our children, family, friends and guests. We recently had the opportunity to purchase this perfect home, "Hilltop Haven". So close to LA, yet so far away. The perfect escape from our hectic daily lives. We look forward to hearing from you!
