Bienvenue dans votre maison propre, confortable et confortable loin de chez vous. Cet endroit trĂšs spĂ©cial a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ© et conçu avec des dĂ©tails Ă  l'esprit. Lorsque vous entrez dans la demeure, la lĂ©gĂšretĂ© et l'attention aux dĂ©tails sont Ă©videntes. Le mobilier est tout neuf et conçu pour ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ©.
La cuisine est bien Ă©quipĂ©e et dispose Ă©galement d'appareils Ă©lectromĂ©nagers en acier inoxydable et de superbes comptoirs en quartz. Il y a un coin bureau avec des prises USB juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la cuisine. Les chambres sont Ă©quipĂ©es de matelas en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire de marque neufs. À cĂŽtĂ© de chaque lit se trouve une prise USB pour charger le tĂ©lĂ©phone portable.
Il y a une fabuleuse douche extĂ©rieure juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la porte de la cuisine. Il a de l'eau chaude et froide. Sur le cĂŽtĂ© se trouve Ă©galement un barbecue Ă  gaz et un coin repas extĂ©rieur. La plage n'est qu'Ă  une courte promenade dans une petite rue ombragĂ©e. Promenade trĂšs facile mĂȘme avec des enfants. Il y a 5 restaurants Ă  distance de marche.

1mile from the center of SSI! Very close to 3 great restaurants! The brewery was amazing and across the street! The beds were very comfortable! Plenty of freshly cleaned towels! Everything in the kitchen worked! Very clean! Love that parts of your phone number are the code to get in; easier to remember!

Perfect Stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Nicely decorated and super clean and we couldn't believe just how close to restaurants that it truly is. While it sits in town, it's also in a quiet neighborhood. This unit is part of a duplex but we never heard the family on the other side. Parking sits in front of the home so you don't have to worry about getting a spot. The beach is two(ish) blocks down a quaint neighborhood street. We'll get a golf cart or bring a wagon next time because it was a bit far to walk back and forth with our hands and arms full. The hose at the house was helpful to clean off our sandy feet when we got back. We didn't use the outdoor shower but there is one available. Lots of people riding bikes around giving the whole town a whimsical feel. We can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Golf get away

Wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage near the Sea Island golf courses but also blocks from the beautiful beach. Walking distance to great food and drink. Melanie made everything easy even personalized entry code to get make it easy to remember. WellFurniahed and very clean. Will recommend to any headed this way

Steps away from a little piece of heaven....

Well designed piece of property provided a comfortable, safe, and esthetic enjoyment. I actually inquired if the owner had done the deocrating and redesign because it was so well done. We walked to the beach for sunrise and then walked the beach every morning...delightful. Although the street is busy, we never 'heard' the traffic or noticed it once inside. Walking distance to two restaurants some shoppes, beach and if you are a walker to the pier where shopping is. Exploring St Simon's Island was delightful to us. The added bonus was the proximity to Jekyl Island which truly is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes as we crossed the bridge. The owner of this property is a delight to work with, friendly, not overbearing, easy to work with and a joy. We highly recommend staying here, it is the BEST VRBO we have ever rented and, at a time, when we were growing weary of the entire VRBO concept and disappointment of services...We do wish that this concept did not have such an adverse impact on affordable housing... Again, this property kept my husband and I each well relaxed and gave us such ease of getting everywhere....Thank You.

Great Beach Rental

We stayed here to attend our week-long family reunion close by. This is the second time we have stayed here. It is very convenient to the beach as well as several restaurants which are a 2 minute walk away. The unit is very comfortable. We had one minor glitch which the owners addressed promptly. We would easily stay here again.

Winter Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Tidewater (both sides) for 5 weeks to escape Canadian winter. What a gem of a property! It is comfortable, functional, quiet, well-located and beautifully decorated. Melanie and Ed are wonderful hosts; incredibly responsive and available at a moment's notice to deal with any questions or concerns. A few things really stood out for us. The space is perfect for a long stay with modern appliances, lots of pots/pans, dishes, glassware, etc., great storage, modern bathrooms, a wonderful open and bright living/eating area and incredibly comfortable beds. Despite being on a major street, it's very quiet, day and night. And the location is fabulous! It's an easy walk to Pier Village (20 minutes), there are lots of amenities (shops, a resort, restaurants, yoga studio, etc) a stone's throw from the property and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. We absolutely loved our stay and plan to return.

We fell in love with St Simons in 2003. We owned another cottage and vacationed on St Simons for 7 years until we finally made St Simons our home. We saw this property for sale and had a vision of what it could be with some renovation. We lovingly and tediously planned each detail to be a place to vacation, retreat and make memories!

We chose this property because of the wonderful location. It is so close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We also had seen this duplex for a long time and felt like it had such potential.

The unique benefits of Tidewater Retreat is that it offers so many options. If you are traveling with another family, it is nice to each have your own space but be together when you want to.
Its perfect for Grandparents that are coming along on vacations or even teenagers that want a little Independence but you are still under the same roof. Each side is available to be rented by itself.
