We had a fantastic stay at Vito’s Trullo. In fact this was our second visit. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a wonderful peaceful outdoor space, to enjoy the sunshine and tranquility. The pool is a generous size, clean and very private. The outdoor dining space is ample and comfortable. The outdoor grill is great, we used it every evening with some excellent fresh fish from the local fishmonger - with some lovely pastry treats after from the great cafe nextdoor. The bed is super comfy, and the whole trullo is spotlessly clean - though we spent the vast majority of our time enjoying the outdoor space.

Heaven on Earth!

The moment we arrived we felt like we were in heaven! The property is AMAZING! It was so peaceful sitting by the pool and walking the grounds. We would wake up each morning and walk pass the peaceful garden, greet the cats, and relax with coffee by the pool. Though we had a lot of sightseeing to do while on our vacation, arriving back each day was like reaching our favorite destination. It isn't often you feel like you are staying somewhere you don't want to ever leave. We have traveled the world staying in some of the finest resorts and this is hands down one of our favorites!

Excellent holiday

Lovely property and excellently appointed. The position is very peaceful, but not too far away from Alberabello, as well as Locorotundo, which is also very picturesque. Vito the host is extremely helpful and makes you feel very welcome. We would love to return one day.

Idyllic stay

Although the access road is bumpy and narrow, it is well worth it once you reach the villa. The trullo is charming and very well equipped and is set in beautiful grounds. The pool and it’s setting are stunning with comfortable loungers. We used the bbq most evenings and enjoyed sitting outside in the attractive courtyard. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely trullo. Simple, tasteful furnishing. Very clean with good bathroom and comfortable bed. The outside area though makes it very special as beautiful garden and pool in a rural area but only 10 minutes from Alberobello. Thank you Vito and team!

Beautiful trullo

My friend and I stayed for 4 nights at the Trullo. It is a beautiful property, well-equipped and very quaint, surrounded by olive groves. The outside space is very special with lovely gardens and a good-sized pool. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best when we were there so we weren't able to use the pool and outside dining area as much as we would have liked, but we still had an enjoyable stay. Vito responded quickly to any queries and was very helpful and charming. I would advise that, if renting a car while staying at the property, it might be wise to stick with a smaller car as the Trullo is located down some narrow country lanes.

Wonderful family stay

This property didn’t disappoint. The house is charming but the real gem is the beautiful gardens with pool, BBQ and Pizza oven. As the house is a little out of town, it was great to be able to cook and relax at our pace. Vito was great at recommending places to go (Locorotondo and Polignano a Mare are musts!) and local attractions. Don’t look anywhere else, book this one!!!

A stay to remember

From the start to finish of our stay Vito was on hand to help with anything we required. From suggestions of places to visit to the days of the local markets - a must for wonderfully fresh, tasty regional produce and so cheap. The trullo was immaculate & thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis, as was the enormous pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet & isolated location but Alberobello was just a 5 minute drive away. It was just an amazing place to stay. With thanks to you & your team.

Beautiful trullo, could not ask for more!

The traditional trullo is set in the most beautiful peaceful garden which made our stay very relaxing. The swimming pool is the best we have ever rented. Vito was supremely accessible responding immediately to WhatsApp questions both before and during our stay, recommending trips and taxis and organising a great trip to a local masseria for wine tasting. The accommodation was very clean and extremely well equipped. All we missed was aircon (not allowed in the trulli) but there were lots of fans. You need a car - it is about 10 minutes into Alberobello (20 euros by taxi) where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We had an amazing stay here and thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful Property but be aware

Beautiful property in the country. A small car is needed to access it. We stayed end of season & trulli was a bit cool/damp - heating’s an extra charge. Hot water worked intermittently in shower -it couldn’t be repaired during our 5 day stay. There are security cameras at property/pool which appear to be monitored - host contacted us at 1:30am when we forgot to turn off outdoor lights.

Let's start from the beginning, in November it is normal for the weather to be humid as it is normal for heating to be paid for (gas has its cost). The hot water in the shower worked perfectly, the security cameras were turned off during the guests' stay. The owner had already warned not to leave the outside lights on all night, as an alarm system would have warned him. You were warned with a message and not contacted at 01.30 at m. Vito

Beautiful, peaceful setting

We stayed in Trullo Nurillo for a week in August 2017 for our family summer holiday. The trullo is very well equipped and kept immaculately clean. The pool area is fantastic for lazing around in the fabulous Italian sunshine. The BBQ and pizza oven are both fun to use and kept us fed many an evening! Nearby attractions include Alberobello, Castellana de Grotte and Polignano di Mare. We found a number of nice family friendly beaches approx. 30 minutes drive away. A car is essential. Overall, a very beautiful and relaxing place to unwind amongst the olive groves.

Perfectly lovely

The setting is beautiful it’s everything other reviewers have mentioned. The pool was freezing when we arrived and by Thursday was great due to the unseasonably hot weather! Couple of things - no toiletries are supplied so pack shower gel and shampoo. Despite what it says in the small print you have to rent pool towels for 15 which we were bemused by as it’s not what we are used to. There are other extras available too for a fee like a table tennis table. Vito is a lovely guy and very hospitable. He pops in to feed the beautiful cats which means they are well fed so don’t beg for food which makes being around them easier if you’re not into cats. The Trulli is indeed very cool inside if you keep the door shut and we had no problems sleeping in the heat which reached the early 30s. Nearby supermarkets are not spectacular but fine for all the basics

Dear Guest, since it is a holiday home and not a hotel, the essentials are left inside, including toilet paper and hand soap. As for the pool towels, their rental is requested in advance before arrival (we do not force anyone) as at the Trullo, a set of three towels are already provided inside. We have several extra services including pizza night, mountain bike rental, ping pong table rental and several other things. As for the two supermarkets located in Alberobello, they have nothing to envy from others as they are equipped with everything necessary, so I do not understand what is meant by not spectacular, being a small town after all.

charming trullo villa

This charming villa was surrounded by olive trees, isolated from lights and noises. It was a great location to relax and short drive to the beautiful towns near by for sightseeing. What we really liked was the outside space of this property; beautiful garden, eating spaces, gazebo, and a large swimming pool. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to use their pizza oven ourselves but there was a amazing BBQ corner. The owner, Vito, gave us catering options cooked by him, which we enjoyed very much. We rent a large car at the airport, which was a little mistake to drive narrow passages toward the property. Vito and Katja were great hosts, the villa was kept really clean and tidy, any questions we had were answered quickly. We would love to come back again for a wonderful holiday.

Just perfect!

Trullo Nurillo is a beautiful home, full of character with an absolutely stunning garden and pool. A perfect place for a holiday of total relaxation and also an ideal base from which to explore Puglia. The Trullo is a few minutes drive along single track country roads from Alborobello. It is simply yet beautifully furnished and the garden and pool area are a dream - lots of different places to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Giuliano, Vito and Katia were very helpful and welcoming hosts and we had a very enjoyable BBQ evening with local food cooked by Katia - highly recommended! The welcome pack included their own produced olive oil - delicious - as well as a very tasty cake hand made by Katia. We would highly recommend Trullo Nurillo particularly if you're looking for a haven of peace and quiet away from the bustle of everyday life.

July in Puglia

The property was incredibly relaxing. Just a 5 minute drive (you will want a car) to Alberobello, the location is central to many of the highlights in Puglia. We were able to take day trips to Lecce, Monopoli, Ostuni, and Matera with ease. The home itself is quaint and perfectly sized for a family of 4 or 5. But the outdoor space is the real gem of this stay. The gardens are incredibly inviting and lend themselves to relaxation. The pool was just what we needed to get through our 9 day stay, as the home does not have air conditioning and it was more warm than usual while we were there. The host, Vito, was incredibly helpful the entire stay, coming by occasionally to ensure the plants were watered and to help with anything we needed. He sent a number of recommended restaurants in the area and they were all excellent.

Fantastic retreat amongst the olive groves

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this lovely Trullo. Thank you Katia and Vito. We spent most of our time in the fantastic outdoor space, it is very special. It is secluded, peaceful, quiet and private. Our only visitors were the local birds and cats passing through. We loved listening to the local owls at night. The pool is a great size and immaculately clean, with a great outdoor shower (with hot water). It was surrounded by lovely loungers and seating area. There is a lovely dining section by the Trullo, which is covered providing nice shade, and good views of the country side. The outdoor kitchen was very good, the BBQ is a great size, and was easy to light/use. The indoor kitchen was very well equipped, clean, and cool. The kind offerings of focaccia, water and juice were very gatefully received upon arrival. Katia and Vito are great hosts, they provided very rapid and responsive replies to any enquiries. They provided lots of good advice and tips on places to see. We had no issues at all but I have no doubt that they would have sorted any problems very quickly. The best thing about this Trullo is it’s location and the outdoor space. It is very secluded and therefore on some small roads, the final section is along a farm track. I’d advise against renting a big car! We enjoyed walking and exploring the local tracts, it is a beautiful and short walk into Alberobello (30 min) for cafe/shops, Highly recommend the Casa de Pan.

A charming trullo in a gorgeous setting near town!

We had the greatest trip to Puglia! The trullo is nestled on a hill with a gorgeous flower garden and olive trees dotting the nearby hills as far as the eye can see. The outdoor pool area includes a great portico with comfy furniture to get out of the rain or heat and umbrellas poolside when you want partial shade. Several options for al fresco dining. The garden cats come to say hi and keep the lizards out of the trullo. The trullo is so charming! It stays dark and cool no matter the weather. The bed was comfier than mine at home and we slept like babies. The kitchen has everything you need to cook incredible meals, and the supermercati is nearby, only a few minutes drive into town. I recommend renting a car from Vitto, the owner. It includes airport pick-up and drop off, making travel so easy. Alberobello is only a few miles away, but the roads are dusty and rocky and it's worth having wheels (hint: make 106.3 Radio Puglia your preset station for Italian pop). We visited nearby Locorotondo (a must!) and several gorgeoubeaches on Monopoli. Thirty minute drive and you're standing in the bottle green Adriatic Sea! Vitto, the owner, is super responsive and (though we had no problems) would have taken care of any that arose quickly. He made great suggestions for day trips. This is not the vacation for those who wants to see all the tourist traps in Italy. It's for those travelers who want to immerse themselves in the true culture of Southern Italy. It's low-key and slow living!

L'hébergement est tout simplement fabuleux. Lhote est tres disponible, à l'écoute. Pour passer des vacances enchanteresses vous ne pouvez pas rever mieux. Important également : L'hébergement est tres bien situé par rapport à tous les villages phares des pouilles. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir et nous recommandons .

Un séjour magique

Le Trullo de Vito est purement magnifique, entouré d'une belle végétation, au calme et à proximité d'Alberobello. La maison est très confortable, le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques. Vito a été présent et discret en même temps. Je ne trouve pas de point négatif et je peux même ajouter que c'est la plus belle location que j'ai eu au cours de ces 8 dernières années (3 locations par an). N'hésitez pas à séjourner dans ce Trullo.

Magnifique

Trullo magnifique dans un jardin somptueux donnant sur une grande piscine dans un parc arboré d'oliviers. Lendroit de rêve pour passer d'excellentes vacances. L'emplacement idéal pour des visites et l'accès aux plages en véhicule. L'hôte est très agréable et pleins de petites attentions.

Un magnifique trulli parfaitement placé

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Le trulli est simplement superbe. L’emplacement est idéal, au calme, mais à proximité d’Alberobello et de nombreuses autres villes et villages qui font la beauté du sud de l’Italie. Quand il fait un peu trop chaud, la piscine (privée) est idéale pour se rafraîchir.
