Bienvenue à Loon Lane (l'allée privée de Harnden Road), la maison parfaite loin de chez vous!

Depuis plus de 25 ans, nous avons la bénédiction de voir nos enfants et petits-enfants grandir en visitant cette maison du lac Northwoods. Hayward, le Wisconsin est l'un des meilleurs endroits au monde, et nous avons apprécié d'en profiter au maximum!

Cette maison se trouve sur 2 hectares. Au sommet de la colline, il y a une allée allongée avec suffisamment de place pour stocker 2 bateaux, un R / V ou des voitures supplémentaires. La maison est située sur la baie de Richardson sur le magnifique Big Round Lake.

Le lac Round est un lac de 3 054 acres avec 19 milles de rivage et de nombreuses baies profondes. Ce lac spectaculaire offre un fond sablonneux et un rivage et est idéal pour la baignade, la pêche, la navigation de plaisance, le kayak et le canoë. Il y a deux quais à la maison qui permettent des journées pleines de bains de soleil et de pêche. Si vous souhaitez apporter votre propre bateau, le deuxième quai est à votre disposition. Il y a un site de lancement pratique à Round Lake Marina sur notre baie. De plus, vous voudrez peut-être louer notre bateau ponton de 20 pieds. La maison dispose également d'une grande terrasse au bord du lac avec une vue magnifique sur la baie et dispose d'un barbecue à gaz pour votre usage.

Hayward, Wisconsin - à seulement 10 minutes en voiture de la maison - offre de nombreuses activités de grande station balnéaire. Le Temple de la renommée nationale de la pêche en eau douce est situé à Hayward. Il contient un musc de fibre de verre de 143 pieds - une visite amusante pour tous les âges. Les touristes peuvent grimper dans l'embouchure du poisson et admirer la ville ainsi que le lac Hayward.

Le centre-ville de Hayward attire les foules au magasin Sweet Shop de Tremblay, célèbre pour ses fudges maison, ses truffes et ses chocolats gastronomiques. Main Street propose de nombreux autres magasins, une boulangerie renommée et des restaurants. Il y a aussi une cave et un chiot de brasserie pour en profiter. La Wilderness Walk est un autre lieu préféré des familles près du centre-ville. Ce centre nature en plein air est parfait pour les adultes et les enfants. Ses nombreux sentiers sont parsemés d'animaux sauvages et le zoo pour enfants aide à éduquer les enfants sur les animaux sauvages et la réhabilitation des animaux que le centre mène.

Hayward est restée une destination de pêche populaire en raison des nombreux lacs et rivières naturels à proximité. La région est réputée pour ses «muskies» de la taille d'un trophée, son grand brochet, son doré jaune et son achigan à petite bouche.

En plus de la pêche, Hayward est également un point chaud pour la chasse au cerf, le golf, le canoë, le kayak, le canotage, l'équitation et le vélo de route et de montagne. Au fil des saisons, la motoneige, le ski alpin et le ski de fond deviennent des activités de plein air populaires. Le comté de Sawyer et ses environs sont connus pour certains des meilleurs sentiers de motoneige du pays, plus de 600 miles de sentiers entretenus!

Wonderful cabin and lake! Our family truly enjoyed this place! The lake is easy to access from the cabin….no hill or stairs. Handicap accessible, and eludes a very homey feeling.

Beautiful trip to the lake. Clean and beautifully appointed. Had everything we needed, just add groceries and bait! Plenty of space for our family to spread out. The adults loved sneaking away to the family room for some quiet reading time. Would absolutely love to book again! Thanks for everything!

Great location on the lake along with two docks to utilize the lake. No stairs to access the lake is another great perk. Cabin is a good size cabin with multiple bathrooms and bedrooms and space to spread out. Access road to the cabin is a bit tight to maneuver a 24' pontoon and turn around but it is doable, just be ready for tight access. The cabin is pet friendly which was a huge positive and the hot tub is also a nice addition to have after a long day on the lake. Overall, I would recommend this cabin to others, and we hope to be able to utilize this place again next year! The host was very responsive and great to communicate with. Our family had a great time up there and look forward to it again! Thanks for sharing your place!

Beautiful Round Lake

This is my family’s third time staying at this cabin-the layout is perfect for family members young and old! This year we stayed 2 weeks & really enjoyed the flat lakeside yard with beautiful views of Richardson’s Bay. Bay features a great restaurant you can boat to-which we did! (We rented the pontoon with the cabin also). It was the 4th of July while we were there-fireworks and boat parade right in the bay!

Great Week on Round Lake

We enjoyed our week at the home. Ample room for everyone. Great walk out frontage with sandy shores. Kids loved swimming and fishing. Hot tub and a fire pit. Everything we were looking for!

Awesome Spot!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful lake home & we had such a wonderful stay both times! The layout of the home is perfect to give everyone space or be all together. The flat front yard gives a nice place to play yard games & allows for easy access to the dock for young and old! The property owner is very responsive & friendly.We’re excited to return next year! Quick Get Away

We had a wonderful time, great weather! The water is so close and no steps! The house is wonderful, big enough we were not crowded. We caught fish, swam and boated. The Bald Eagle and the neighbor Loon were just added bonuses. We definitely will return, check-in was easy and never had trouble with connecting with the owner. Our parents came for a day and enjoyed the ease to and from the water. Truly a wonderful spot!

Not so much!

I wasn't going to leave a review but my husband encouraged me to. If I had read what we encountered, I probably wouldn't have booked this property. First of all, the photo of the cabin and what you see when you arrive have changed drastically. Lots of "stuff" in the lakeside yard. Shoreline and sandy beach are awesome - but old docks/pontoons change the feel. Tree/brush trimming needs to happen to curb the overgrowth. Dock is nice - we spent many mornings watching beautiful sunrises. Now to the inside...the first impression that hit us is the strong scent of urine in the carpeted family room/dining room area. We had to keep windows/doors open to mitigate the odor. The biggest and newer carpeted TV room don't smell. We would sit in the newer carpeted area to watch TV. The kitchen has everything but a blender. WIFI is strong. Bathrooms are average. Our biggest complaint regarding our stay at this property is the pontoon boat. The boat rental is an extra $500.00 over the cost of the cabin. We opted to rent their pontoon and paid the extra fee. The motor runs fine but, the carpet is filthy and appears to never have been washed. But worst of all - the table was removed and what was left is a jagged silver hole that looks directly into the water below. It is a hazard for dogs and small children to have their feet/foot fall through. I highly recommend you do not rent the pontoon. We love the Hayward area and hava boate stayed other places that include a boat with cabin. We will not be staying here again - waaayyy too expensive for what you get.

You have disparaged both my rental and my family's second home so I will respond. Except for some new appliances inside the house and some new wooden walkways outside, the house is exactly as shown in the photos. The "stuff" in the front yard - I have a wrought iron table and chairs and a wrought iron bench and chairs by the fire ring. I am sorry if they were not arranged to your liking. I also have a canoe and kayak which guests request and apparently enjoy. The old dock? I have 2 nice docks one of which you enjoyed using and one section of dock which is not being used this year due to the high water level. The property is a "Northwoods Lake" property, woods meaning trees and understory. I don't trim my woods. We are pet friendly and I assume guests will be responsible with their dogs. Curiously, no one before of after your stay complained of any odor. In fact, the next guest went out of her way to tell me how clean the home was on their arrival. Bathrooms were average, well, thanks for that. The pontoon is an older boat but it is maintained very well. Previous guests broke the built in table which is not replaceable. So, I put a portable table at that spot. Easy solve. I was at the house 2 weeks before you and both the upholstery and the floor of the boat were cleaned at that time and clean. And no, you certainly will not be staying at my lake property again.

another beautiful time at the cabin. We have been coming to this beautiful cabin for years, and once again it was the BEST! Everything was ready for us, clean and homey! Our family is a large group. The kids swim and fish off the dock, the adults do the same. We call it our home away from home! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us all!!

Another great week at Round Lake

This is our second year staying at this wonderful house and have already booked for 2023. It is perfect for our family needs. Plenty of space and sleeping arrangements. Clean and comfortable. Also very quiet and private. Access to the sandy shore with almost lake level elevation was perfect for my 2.5 year old grand daughter. I have been coming to Round Lake since 1954 as we owned property and a house until 2015. I always return due to my love of the lake and its crystal clear waters. The owner, Jackie, is very responsive to anything that may need attention.

Perfect in Every Way

The property was ideal for the group of 6 adults and 3 children. The house is conveniently arranged with three bedrooms for the 6 adults, separate room with pullout for the 16 year old, and separate sleeping area for the two 12 year olds. Kitchen is well stocked and everything worked.. Great dock and sandy swimming area. The bay was ideal for water activities. Large seating area on the back deck. The hot tub was a special treat. The property was clean, well maintained, and wooded. July 4 fireworks from the dock—convenient and spectacular. Plan to return.

Peaceful and Beautiful

This property was everything we could ever wish for. We are so grateful the home owners share their beautiful home with us. Beautiful north woods is so serene and peaceful. The home itself has huge windows to enjoy the view of the lake. On an amazing lake, close to ATV trails, restaurants and shops. It was so relaxing and very secluded. It was exactly what we were looking for. The home owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. My only regret was leaving. I would highly recommend if you love the north woods.

Great spot on a beautiful lake!

This lake home, while in need of a bit of repair here & there, provided a beautiful site for a relaxing week on Round Lake. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house has a nice layout. Most appreciated was the lovely 3 season porch & immaculate hot tub on the private front deck. We did rent the pontoon as well, best way to enjoy all the lake has to offer. The kayak & canoe were fun…and the beach out front was beautiful sand with crystal clear water-great place to swim right out front! The house was stocked with pretty much all you need!! Would definitely stay here again-the whole family loved it!
