Cette villa mature et spacieuse dispose de jardins paysagers avec piscine privée chauffée. La terrasse de la piscine est équipée de chaises longues et de coussins, de transats et d'une table pour les repas en plein air, ainsi que d'un barbecue à gaz pour ces repas de vacances mémorables. Surplombant le 6e tee du parcours de golf de Penina, c'est un paradis pour les golfeurs. Parfait pour les familles avec enfants, il y a des lits et des chaises hautes. La villa est conçue pour une utilisation toute l'année avec chauffage interne et climatisation. Les salles de bains et la cuisine récemment rénovées apportent une touche moderne à l'intérieur spacieux. Toutes les serviettes et les draps sont fournis, y compris les serviettes de plage. La blanchisserie et le nettoyage sont fournis chaque semaine. 6 minutes en voiture du joli village de pêcheurs d'Alvor et ses plages et à 15 minutes des plages et de la vie nocturne de Lagos. Afin de permettre aux clients d'utiliser des vols moins chers, nous ne spécifions pas de jours de changement. Nous facturons par adulte et par nuit et seulement 30 £ / 34 € par nuit pour les enfants. Lovely property, quiet location but lots to do kocally

Very well equipped villa. Spacious rooms, lots of outdoor space. Handy for Penina Golf Resort and a short drive to Portimao and Alvor, both of which are well worth a visit. Pool area very good with plenty of seating and space to move around as the sun moves. Lovely views of the 6th hole of the Resort Course, but also the skydivers from the nearby airfield who routinely drop out of planes above you, and not quietly! Very funny.Communications with Heather, our host, were very good. No waiting for responses and quick to respond to any queries. Would certainly recommend, and we hope to return in the future. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Fantastic villa in beautiful surroundings

Selfishly i don't want everyone to know how great Casa Mimosa is so it doesn't get booked up and we can return again and again, but that would be a huge disservice to everyone involved in the running of the villa.First, the villa itself is beautiful and very, very spacious with everything you could possibly need and furnished fantastically. It was just us as a couple, but if you have kids there is a plethora of things inside and out to suit them. Fully fitted kitchen, comfortable lounge with Sky TV, large bedrooms with comfortable beds and air-conditioning and numerous bathrooms (shower in the master ensuite is to die for). However you will barely be inside as the outside is even more breathtaking. The pool is stunning, huge and a wonderful temperature. It's shallow end is 85cm and the deepest is 1.5m so again, if you have young children, it's great for them. And the steps into the pool are not tiled so they're not slippery! Large outside dining table and chairs and comfy sun loungers means plenty of places to sit and relax and there is also an outside shower with hot water. There's a huge garden that overlooks one of the greens on the golf course and everything is wonderfully maintained.Location is perfect, 40mins from airport, 20 from Lagos and Alvor 5mins away with 2 large supermarkets.Huge selling point is property manager, Heather. Fantastic communication on the run up, a wonderfully friendly person and was there to greet us with a smile. Thank you and see you soon!

Fantastic Stay

Whilst i would love to keep this place a secret, that just wouldn't be fair as the Owner and Heather went out there way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Where to start Location for me was just perfect, 40- 45 mins from Airport, 10-12 mins from Alvor Beach/Marina and the town centre. 20 Mins from Lagos and surrounding areas. The Villa sits within the Pennina Golf Resort, so you benefit from a secure and peaceful surrounding, whilst being close to everything. The Villa itself is very spacious, large grounds with plenty of space so no one felt on top of each other, 5 double bedrooms (3 en suite) and all with individual air conditioning keeping us nice and cool night time. The kitchen is large and modern, 2 Fridges ( we used one just for drinks) and opens to the pool area and outdoor eating area which is really handy and close to the steps taking you down to the BBQ. The Villa had good WiFi and Sky TV ( perfect to keep the kids entertained whilst we were getting dinner ready) and a Hi-Fi system for music.(with plenty of tapes and CD's) Best of all the Villa has everything there you can want for family's, and that makes it the best home away from home we have ever stayed in. Child Friendly pool - whilst its a large pool, they owners have made (approx 1/3rd ) of the pool length at a depth of 0.75/0.8m this meant our 4 year old (whilst of course always wearing armbands) was able to stand and play and gained real confidence in the water - it also meant the 2 seven year olds were able to play so much easier as they could stand. The rest of the pool is 1.5m depth so again the adults could stand but had good depth. There were plenty of sun loungers around the pool and you can position them to get sun from morning till late afternoon and a nice garden furniture around which made it very relaxing whilst we were all around each other and the kids. There are loads of games and toys for the Adults/Kids. A little play kitchen and toys for the really small ones, loads of card games, Chess/other board games and a range of books for the adults too, everything was there. It doesn't stop there, Golf clubs for the golfers, tennis rackets and balls for those who wanted to play tennis in the hotel, Cricket set, Racquet, a football and a range of bikes for those who were interested. The only thing i will advise, is bring mosquito repellent, there are sliding door fly screens but i got bitten quite a bit ( others didn't). Anthony & Michelle

This was your first stay and perhaps you will join the group of happy holidaymakers who return to stay year after year. Our pricing policy of per person, per night (cheaper for kids), means that smaller groups or families like yourselves, have the opportunity to appreciate all the space and facilities afforded by such a large villa. I'm so glad you did! Even when filled to capacity, our five bedrooms can easily accommodate ten people, so often our guests are two or even three families holidaying together. It sounds as if you enjoyed all the toys, games, bikes, sports goods and entertainment at the villa. All of these help towards making a great fun time for all. Excellent villa in great location to explore surrounding area

Excellent villa especially for a large family/group. Traditional style. Good size rooms be it communal areas, kitchen and bedrooms. Good location to explore this beautiful part of the Algarve - Alvor only 10 minutes away and Lagos, Silves and Carvoeiro all within 30 minutes. Definitely need a cart .

Amazing villa

Absolutely fabulous villa located in the most beautiful location, lovely and quiet, private and huge! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway to Portugal.

Worn beautiful place in need of updating.

Large estate on golf course, gorgeous garden with mature landscaping. Beautiful pool but heating unit broken. Understandably a warm weather summer destination where a heater is rarely used. But the sofas in the living room, the rugs, and the master mattress are worn out. Straight up. The drive in and out to town is a hassle. The kitchen is updated. The bathrooms are updated but the drains are slow. It really depends on how much sight seeing, how much time at the house you plan on being there in order to decide if this is the place for you.

GREAT NEWS. THE VILLA IS HAVING MAJOR RENOVATIONS IN MAY 2019. Hi Jennifer, I'm very upset that you feel so disappointed with Casa Mimosa. Thank goodness our numerous returning guests don't share your view. The lounge rug and all the bed mattresses were new only last year, 'straight up' to use your language! I did explain that we have only a certain amount of electrical power to the property and in December, it was a choice to either have heating to the villa or the pool, but not both unfortunately. Apologies if you misunderstood this. The description of the villa explains that it stands on a golf course and not in the centre of a village or on the beach and clearly states those are a ten minute drive away. Oh dear, I'm so sorry this was hassle for you. I shall enjoy welcoming back our happy winter returners in less than a month.

Large,impressive villa,wonderful location overlooking the 6th green at Penina golf resort.

Enjoyed the space in the house.and the location.Very quiet with such a large plot of land.The pool is large too. Watching the golfers and the sky divers who fluttered above us was such a pleasure.Meant that small planes take off and land at the tiny Alvor airport very regularly.The agent was very helpful indeed.

Fantastic villa

The villa was everything we expected and more. It was extremely clean and tidy and there was lots to do there. We even had access to the garage where there was lots of golf equipment, but more interestingly a whole family of bicycles to use. The area is very flat, so we enjoyed lots of cycling and exploring. It was reassuring having an English lady welcome us in, who gave us a complete tour with of the villa and showed us how things worked. She was also available to give us information of where to visit and what there was to do locally. A mine of information! Will definitely book again and it seems as if very many of their guests return year after year. A great holiday!
