Casa Canda est un beau cottage de 2 chambres bien aménagé situé dans le paisible village de Praia da Luz. Il a vue sur la mer. À seulement 250m (200m à vol d'oiseau) de la belle plage de sable de Praia da Luz. Des restaurants, des magasins et 2 excellents supermarchés sont facilement accessibles à pied. À l'avant (sud), il a une piscine privée avec terrasse, pont et plan d'eau. (La piscine peut être chauffée à un coût supplémentaire) À l'arrière, il dispose d'une terrasse privée pour le parking. Le chalet est maintenu à un niveau élevé. A l'étage inférieur, 2 chambres dont 1 avec salle d'eau attenante. Il y a une salle de bains familiale séparée. Les portes-fenêtres mènent à la terrasse, aux chaises longues et à la piscine. À l'étage supérieur, un salon / salle à manger de belle taille avec des portes-fenêtres donnant sur le balcon et des meubles de patio / barbecue. La cuisine est neuve et comprend des surfaces de travail en granit et une machine à laver. Le salon a 32 "TV satellite mural et belle cheminée à bois. Des radiateurs électriques peuvent être fournis pour les locations d'hiver. 3 terrains de golf à 5-10 minutes en voiture.

A gem of a place

We stayed here for 2 weeks and I can honestly say that there is not one thing negative I can say about this property. It was immaculately clean, had high quality furniture inside and out and every accessory we could possibly need during our stay. The pool was a superb size too!

We felt at home in this beautiful spacious house with a small pool. It is well equipped, and everything was well presented and clean. The location is excellent. (The hosts informed us in advance about nearby construction work within business hours.) The hosts were friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Also the Communication was very Kind and friendly. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Very enjoyable holiday

Casa Canda is perfectly located to access everything Luz has to offer. It’s a lovely home from home, comfortable and relaxing. Communication was excellent throughout. Will definitely be putting Casa Canda on my return list, thank you Ann & Chris for sharing your villa!

Exzellent house

very nice house, in a great location. (supermarket, sea, restaurant, excursions in the Algarve). the house was in very good condition. Everything we needed was there. We can recommend the house with the friendly hosts. It's a shame our week went by so quickly.

Great accommodation

The accommodation offers everything for a great family holiday except for a dishwasher. The pool offers that little extra. The location of the flat is super central but still quiet. The supermarket just around the corner is great and offers fresh bread for breakfast.

Great place to relax

Great pool, best fitted for families, all members have enjoyed holidays. Every thing you need is in. Short walk about 2 mins to the lovely beach of luz. Will come back again. A canopy on the roof balcony would be nice

Best Stay we had

Casa Canda is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in Algarve. It's a very well equipped house and super comfortable, especially the beds. The pool and balcony areas are a dream and we had such fun and relaxing evenings. Everything is a short walk away, especially the beach. The Host's Chris & Ann are really nice and totally available at any time. We really hope to be back soon cause once you spend some days there you don't want to leave. It was without a doubt a lovely stay! Thank you Ann & Chris!

Near perfection

This is a lovely property with all the amenities you need (though no A/C which was fine with us), a great pool and a fantastic market across the street. The ocean’s shore is only a short time Ali, as well as a plethora of restaurants and shops. Lovely!

Loving Luz & Casa Canda

We stayed here for a month- mid October to late November. Casa Canda is all that the listing says it is. The cottage was spotless and was kept that way throughout our stay. Well equipped in the kitchen and had everything we needed. Pretty central location for Western Algarve and lots of sightseeing areas within an easy drive. A two minute walk to restaurants and 4 minutes to the beach. If we return to Portugal again (from Canada) we would definitely use this property.

Perfect stay in Luz

We had such a lovely holiday in Luz, and the property was wonderful. It's location is perfect, being so close to a supermarket and a short walk from the lovely beach. The size of the property is perfect for 4, with comfy beds, 2 bathrooms (especially important with two teenagers), a well appointed kitchen and good size lounge/dining room. The best part of the property is the outside spaces though. The balcony is perfect for meals and sitting out in the evening, while the sun loungers and pool are a great place to spend the day (some days were a bit too windy for the beach). Everyone enjoyed the holiday so much, and we would love to visit again in the future.

Good Location

The house is in a good location, handy to walk everywhere in Luz. It's opposite Batista supermarket but noise really wasn't an issue and it's so convenient for stocking up. Staying in September we managed without pool heating and it was great to cool off after a hard day on the beach. The views from the balcony are nice with the Black Rock and sea, No noisy neighbours. Clean and well equipped.

Amazing traditional Portuguese holiday home!

What can I say really other than, superb! This was a fantastic stay with ultra accommodating hosts, everything was just lovely. The location was perfect, a stones throw from one of main shops in Luz and a lovely 5 min walk down to the promenade and beach. Having a drive way made such a difference with us renting a car for the week and we loved the clean, simple and traditional feel of this stunning holiday home. The show stopper though is the pool which is outstanding, a real treat especially for children, my daughter loved it and would hop out of bed and straight in the mornings! A truly wonderful stay and a real gem in a gorgeous resort, we can’t wait to go back and hope this home is available when we do! 5* Thank you A&C

Lovely property

Had an amazing time staying at the property for 2.5 weeks. Excellent location close to beach and all the bars & restaurants. Literally a few steps from a supermarket which stocks all you need. Our trip was during the 2020-21 covid pandemic so the Resort was very quiet but that suited us. The house is fully equipped with everything needed to totally relax which is what we wanted. The only downside ( this is our opinion only and we note that we are tv addicts ) is the lack of many British tv channels on the TV, however we could still get the Euros football so hubby was happy. Thanks to Anne & Chris for letting us stay in their lovely home. ( ps the pool was chilly 🤣😁

Idéal pour des vacances en famille!

Logement tout confort, situé à proximité directe de la plage, des commerces, et des restaurants. Bien qu'un peu fraîche à cette période, la piscine a tout de même fait la joie des enfants! Le service de ménage, discret et efficace est un vrai plus pendant les vacances. Luz est un endroit calme et agréable, où tout peut se faire à pied. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Enfin, Ann et Chris sont réactifs dans les échanges, et les informions communiquées sont précises et complètes. Nous recommandons cette location.

Perfect home for a family holiday

We originally booked our holiday for July 2020 but due to covid 19 we had to postpone. Ann and Chris were very understanding and allowed us to transfer the dates twice. Casa Canda is very clean and would highly recommend to anyone looking to holiday in Luz. The supermarket is conveniently situated across the road and the beach is only a 5 min walk. The highlight for the children was the swimming pool in the garden, they didn't want to leave. The kitchen is fully equipped for making family meals and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We all had an enjoyable experience and would definitely stay at Casa Canda again. Thank you Ann and Chris.

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannen

Ich habe zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Haus mitten in Praia da Luz verbracht. Es ist zentral und ruhig in direkter Nähe zum Supermarkt Baptista gelegen und nur einen kurzen Fußweg vom Strand entfernt, vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Atlantik und den Rocha Negra. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, es wird bei Bedarf zwei Mal wöchentlich gereinigt und der Pool ist perfekt wenn man einfach mal einen ruhigen Tag verbringen möchte. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We had a great relaxing time. View of the sea is wonderful, and so close to the super market, only a few minutes to the beach, plenty of places to eat and drink. We did not hire a car, buses are good and easy to use. Kitchen has everything for our stay and yes I did cook at times. In all villa is very comfortable and relaxing, even used the pool, I did need help to enter pool due to medical reasons on this time. we enjoyed it so much that we're hoping to re-book for next year.

Um recanto de sossego

A casa corresponde exatamente ao anúncio, tem um supermercado ao lado, o que se torna muito prático. Tem vista parcial de mar, óptimo para refeições na varanda. Tem uma cozinha muito bem equipada, com tudo o que é necessário para uma boa estadia. E a piscina é um bónus para aqueles dias mais ventosos. A Ann foi muito gentil e respondeu prontamente ao meus comentários. Aconselho vivamente uma visita à Praia da Luz e à casa da Ann.

We are a family whose children grew up holidaying in Luz. From our first visit we were hooked and bought Casa Canda after our second holiday in Luz. Our grandchildren are now following suit and love every visit.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Casa Canda is a freehold private cottage, in a small terrace of cottages. It is centrally located within the seaside village of Luz and very close to all amenities. It has sea views and is set only 200m back from the main beach and promenade. Baptista's Supermarket - fully provisioned - is close at hand, and so too are many restaurants. Its an area which is ideal for families, couples, singles. Its an area you can both relax and or take up activities. It can be both romantic and/or family orientated.

In so far as we are aware, Casa Canda is the only 2 bedroomed villa, in Luz, to have its own private swimming pool. The bridge over the pool and the waterfall feature make it truley unique.
