Nice stay in santa maria

The appartement is confortable and large enough for 7-8 adults. Nice view on the sea. Very well located, near a coffee ans supermarket, 50m from the beach. I recommend.

The best home of sal 🌴

Our home rating is 10/10. Besides being well located at the edge of the sea beach, we come across a well tidy, clean, well equipped house, and spacious enough for 8 people. It has a stunning view to the sea beach, hot and cold water, AC, etc. The staff wass always ready to assist in all the way we needed. For the year we plan to return again and would love to stay in the same apartment.

Excelente localização

O apartamento do Mike está muito bem localizado. De frente para o mar. Na realidade a praia em frente é muito rochosa mas basta um pequeno passeio de 10 minutos para chegar a que consideramos a melhor praia de Santa Maria. Rua principal e restaurantes a menos de 10 minutos. Apartamento confortável para 6 pessoas adultas.

Apenas tenho a apontar, que o andar de cima é muito quente, mesmo com as ventoinhas ligadas durante o dia. Acho que é o único ponto que deve ser melhorado…

Loacation

Situated a the quite area next to a beach. Staff very friendly and the complex is well maintained. Good restaurants nearby (10 within 10 min walk) the start of Main tourist is also 10 mins and takes about 20 mins to walk it.

Leme Bedje 3 bed 3rd floor apartment

The above apartment was the ideal location for our group of windsurfing friends. The apartment was comfortable but typically sparse for this type of let, which wasn't a problem to us. One big problem we had on our night time arrival was that we were informed by the owners agent (the owner was unaware) that 3 gentlemen would not vacate the appartment. The reason's were sketchy like one of them may have had Covid. Apart from the sketchy reason the agent relocated us to 3 small flats (for the 4 of us) for 2 nights before we had access to our chosen apartment. It meant a bit more living out of a case and the group dynamics was altered before we got access on day 3. The agent was perhaps doing their best, buying us a beer at Angulo's, complimentary wifi, a couple of bottles of wine. The confusion for us was why the agent didn't move the 3 residents out to 2 apartments rather than the 4 of us over 3 apartments. Loved waking up and having a tea on the veranda in the morning watching the day starting with an awesome sea view. The veranda doors wouldn't lock and we forgot to mention this to the owner.

Yes indeed they did have COVID and were told to isolate in the apt as they could not fly or move either till they had a negative result that is why we had to put you in other apartments at very short notice till they had a negative result and could fly home.Thank you for letting us know the patio door had broken we found some parts on the floor and will be repairing the catch.Hope the experience did not spoil your stay to much.

Great spot in Santa Maria and nice apartment. Equipment for kitchen could be improved.

We had recurring water cuts during our stay which were a problem for showers and all. The rest was fine.

Great Location

7 kitesurfers stayed in this accomodation and it was fantastic for us. Communication was quick with the owner. There is a lovely bar on the beach front - Angulo's where we enjoyed food & drinks. I caught 5 large moray eels when fishing from the shore. The views from the balcony are superb, as is the location as it is only a short walk into town. We were able to do a downwinder from the kite beach to Angulo's on a couple of occasions which I would recommend if kiting

Cape Verde Stay

We are 2 couples who stayed in Mike's apartment for 2 weeks, returned to the UK last Friday. We very much enjoyed our stay. The pictures do not do the apartment justice. It is much nicer. However, it could be made a little homelier by adding a few more touches to it. St Maria is nice, but be aware of lots of dogs. They are friendly but you will find a lot of fouling on the streets and the beaches. Columbus Bar is opposite the apartment with a few sun beds which get taken quite early in the morning. WIFI is hit and miss. Columbus bar provide free WIFI for their customers and you will be able to get a signal from the balcony of the apartment. There a lots of nice restaurants and bars with friendly staff everywhere. The food in the restaurants is quite nice and reasonably cheap. We would recommend a sailing trip and a 'Safari trip'. Very nice holiday and I can recommend the apartment.

There is a program in place to neuter the dogs and cats so the problem should eventually be eradicated.I will suggest to the Columbus bar to add more sun beds.I believe when you stayed the WiFi internet was down so should be up and running now.

Spacious apartment with nice beach view

The apartment was great, bigger in fact than we had imagined. PIckup from the airport went smoothly. The flat was nice and clean and has all you need. You have to pay for wifi and it is expensive but you can in fact pick up the wifi from the restaurant below if you are on the balcony. It is no more than ten minutes walk into town and there is a nice restaurant just opposite which became our local. We also enjoyed eating at Angela's further along the beach. They were doing work to the beach while we were there so the part directly in front of the flat will be nicer. Apart from the fantastic beaches there is not a great deal to do on the island compared to the others but we enjoyed some nice beach walks. The pool was lovely and clean but pretty cold. We would recommend the flat

Great location

Apartment close to the centre but just out of the busy part. Beautiful view from the balcony, looking over the sea. In front of the complex is a restaurant on the beach that offers good food, a supermarket is just around the corner. The pool is a bit cold but we visited in the coldest month of the year (January). The owner was very helpful
